Phuket Marriott Resort & Spa is located on Merlin Beach. The sea is crystal clear and the colors are so beautiful. Even though it is not a private beach, it is like the hotel's private beach. If you rent a car to drive yourself, you should choose a car with power because you have to drive up and down the hill quite steeply. Staying here is like a vacation and a real vacation. You don't have to go anywhere else. You can see the blue sea with a refreshing drink. During high tide, you can go swimming, kayaking, paddleboarding, or snorkeling to see the coral. There are 2 freshwater swimming pools. If you have children, there is a children's zone with a slide for you to play all day until you are soaked. During high tide, you can play in the sand and sea. During low tide, you can walk and explore the coral islands, find crabs, and fish. You can borrow marine equipment from the hotel, such as shoes, snorkeling masks, life jackets, kayaks, and paddleboards. In addition, the hotel has activities for guests to choose from according to their interests, separated for children and adults. When you check in, the hotel will provide an activity schedule and tide times. But if anyone comes and wants to go to Patong Beach, the hotel also provides a free shuttle service back and forth. Actually, the accommodation is a little past Patong. The accommodation is good, the room is spacious, the staff is lovely and smiling. Nearby, there is an elephant cafe that you can walk to. The pool here is very large. There is also a butterfly garden, but we didn't go. Breakfast has a variety, especially the hotel's special juice, very delicious. A hotel with very good service, delicious food, lovely staff. I've stayed in many hotels in the same chain, but this is the first time I've stayed here and I'm most impressed. Stayed at Merlin Beach for 7 nights. Overall the service and experience was amazing and worth the money. Checking in we used the hotel taxi service from phuket airport. This is only $20 more than a normal taxi and takes the stress out of pickup with your name on a board and then escorted to the car. Well laid out with ample place for all types of guests. We were there with our kids and they enjoyed the hotel facilities e.g swimming pool, kids room, kids activities etc. On arrival we where greeted with smiles and a welcome drink each. Check in was quick and easy. The room is a 10/10 for cleanliness and modern features for Thailand. Not dated at all. We where in a sea view room which had amazing views. The pool view was also great and would suffice for next time. Don't listen to the other reviews about the beach. The beach is great and fine and easy to navigate and is safe. Yes at low tide (say post 4pm) the tide goes out and it's a long walk to go for a swim. But you have 3 massive pools you can use. When the tide is out the rock pools are amazing for exploring with hundreds of fish and crabs to look at and explore. When the tide is in the beach is an amazing white sand and th water is crystal clear. The beach had TWO separate massage places that do laundry. One does drinks. These places are amazing and much cheaper than the hotel. Pool area is great and with 3 pools there is plenty of places to sit. The main pool has a swim up bar and you can also get snacks. Buffet breakfast was great and had way too many options !! Only negative is the prices of drinks. Happy hour at the pool bar is 3 to 5 then rum bar at 5 to 7. This is 2 for 1 and makes the prices ok. However compared too thialand in general it's abit expensive. The concierge is great and can book private cars, tours or whatever you like. Hotel is about 3KM from Patong / Bangla Street and has frequent shuttle service to the place. The hotel beach has a nice view but can't go in waters, unsafe, unmanned, rocky. Staff were very helpful. Memorable trip, would definitely recommend if you are visiting Phuket for peaceful time. A heap of taxis wait out the front od the hotel to take you wherever you like. All prices are fixed so no negotiations but also no rip off's. Good room, very big hotel, located next to Merlin Beach, which is quite a private beach of the hotel. This beach is a coral reef conservation area, you can dive but not every day, you have to ask the hotel which days you can dive. There are paddle boards, kayaks for paddling, but you have to ask the staff. The hotel may not be very new, but when I stayed there, I was impressed with everything from booking, call center staff, reception staff. Flying Hanuman, this package includes transfers. I went at 1 pm and there weren't many people. It was fun and cost over CNY 400. You can buy it on Trip.com. It was a pleasant trip. After playing, I chose the Phuket Marriott Resort & Spa, Merlin Beach near Patong Beach. The hotel has been renovated, the facilities are good, and you can snorkel and see lots of fish at the beach. The beach is long, the hotel food is good, and there is a free shuttle to Patong. The service is very good and always available! It's a bit hot outside, but it's more comfortable inside. I still prefer air conditioning. You can make your own Thai iced tea here, and you can make it as sweet, light, or milky as you like. Then there's the happy hour on Wednesdays, with free drinks for an hour and a lucky draw. I won first prize, a buffet dinner for three people, worth THB 1,200 per person, excluding drinks. Overall, it was very good. The buffet oysters were very fresh, plump, and delicious. I loved them. The buffet is only available on Wednesdays. The steak here is also delicious. The seabass is also good, a large salt-baked fish. Finally, I recommend the Thai iced tea flavored ice cream.

Excellent view and spacious room with a nice balcony. There is Happy hour every day 4pm to 6pm at the bar in the pool. The hotel is just 15 mins ride from Patong beach which is the heart of the night life and 20 mins from Jungceylon the gigantic shopping centre. You will be spoilt by the choices of food in the areas. Do take note some restaurants charges 3% extra for paying with credit card.

#songkran2024 Phuket Marriott hotel near Merlin beach is further away but it has nice environment and services. Room was decent and comfortable very. With bath tub and full bath amenities. Loving the lagoon pool with a bar , we spend almost full 2 days in the resort only . Facilities in the resort was tip top. Staff are friendly and attentive this is important in the resort , becuase resort is huge some other hotel need wait so long for the service. Loving this hotel and highly recommended. Good recommend for songkran holiday too.

Hotel comes with full amenities, dont even need to worry about travel adaptor. Room comes with global wall plugs, how cool is that. Breakfast spread was so good. Kids club was awesome! My kids had so many activities everyday.

We visited Phuket for 3 nights and checked into the Marriott hotel. We were instantly impressed by the hospitality and decor of the hotel. The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. We were shown to our room which was clean with a view of the pool. Staff kept the drinks flowing with our 'all inclusive ' package. They offered great excursions and daily activities which we utilised. Will definitely stay here again!

Really I really like it. Really, the price is really good value for money. Really I want to go again. Ha, I'm dizzy. I'm at the Amari Resort right now, but I like the Marriott better. The pool is nice, the pool bar is nice, and it's the best.
