Illumination in Singapore ✨
Pangsua Pond is located near to Bukit Panjang MRT station. It is a storm water collection pond and a frequent place for joggers for it’s unique floating wetland concept.
The first time I learnt about the pond was when it was decorated for the festive season! As usual I was skeptical it could be real 😂. BUT YES it’s real!!
During every festive season, the community will come together and decorate the pond area outside the community centre to fit the celebrations.
Definitely a place to try visiting if you are in the vicinity. Remember to check their Facebook page for updates on the operation hours or if any decorations are up at the moment.
(Decorations are frequently tear down, probably to conserve electricity once a festival is over.)

Punggol Pond
Punggol Pond is located in the northern part of Singapore and is a recreational spot that combines natural scenery with modern facilities. It features extensive waterways, lush trails, and a variety of water activities, making it ideal for walking, cycling, or engaging in light outdoor exercises. The pond is surrounded by numerous leisure facilities such as picnic areas and viewing platforms, allowing visitors to relax and enjoy the natural beauty around them. It is particularly suitable for family gatherings or spending a leisurely afternoon with friends. There are also some hidden spots here that let people experience the tranquility and natural harmony that Singapore retains amidst its busy urban life.

Pang Sua Pond
#singaporetrip Pang Sua Pond, located at Bukit Panjang with a couple minute walk from Senja LRT Station and beside the Senja Cashew CC. A second Wetland beside the one at Punggol, a long broadwalk suspended 7 meters over the pond. Surrounded by Bukit Panjang neighbourhood and a very quiet, clean, shady Neighbourhood 5 Park, with well maintain track.
Chairs at the viewing deck for one to sit and relax enjoying the nice view of the pond and surronding.
Play ground and shelter shade at the park, suitable for families with kids to play.
Serene, a really nice play to walk, relax.
Will pay a night visit for the night view.

What was once an ordinary pond in the neighbourhood got a major revamp for Pang Sua Pond.
As a kid I often pass by this pond thinking that it is just a pond and there was nothing much about it. The ordinary pond has transformed into this stunning attraction that has attracted many Singaporeans like myself to come back here.
The transformed pond has became more than what it formerly was, it is now a park that’s built around this little pond that also features a floating wetland, a promenade for runners to run/jog on, a promenade, a timber broadwalk as well as a viewing deck for those looking to get a rest or maybe even sit down to do some bird watching. #moreinsg
