Rainy Season at Pa Bong Piang, Chiang Mai.
The rainy season has returned. For those looking for a natural green escape, I recommend "Pa Bong Piang" in Mae Chaem district, Chiang Mai. Here, rice is planted only once a year, and the best time to visit is during the rainy season, when you can enjoy the lush green rice fields as far as the eye can see, surrounded by mountain views. After the rain, you can experience the mist and the cool, moist air, taking in the fresh air with every breath. Each month offers a different view of the rice fields:
👉Late July - Early August: The beginning of rice planting, you can see the young rice plants and the reflection of water in the fields.
👉Mid-August - Early October: High season with lush green rice fields, morning fog, and stunning views.
👉Mid-October - Early November: The rice fields turn golden, ready for harvest, offering yet another beautiful scene.
For a quick visit, you can do a one day trip, but I recommend staying at least one night for a truly good feeling. It's very peaceful with a great atmosphere. There are plenty of accommodations to choose from now, though they may not be as comfortable as hotels, like huts in the middle of the fields. Activities are limited to eating, sleeping, taking photos, and simply soaking in the good vibes.
📍Location: Pa Bong Piang, Chang Khoeng sub-district, Mae Chaem district, Chiang Mai
🏠 Accommodation: We stayed at "Ma Chi Po", priced at 700 baht per person, including dinner and breakfast.

Pai Bong Piang Village.
Pai Bong Piang Village in Chiang Mai is the highlight of terraced rice fields in Thailand, especially during the rainy season. The best time to visit is between July and October each year. This is because the rice fields gradually change colors with the seasons, from green to golden yellow, which is equally stunning. Additionally, there are beautiful homestays with rice field views that allow you to immerse yourself more in nature.

Happy Trippp
Pai Baan Pong Piang
Today, I would like to introduce a tourist attraction in the Mae Chaem district. The journey here follows the same route as the one to Doi Inthanon. Upon reaching the second checkpoint, turn left and it's not much further until you see the sign for Pong Piang Forest. Turn right and continue for another 6 kilometers; it's a downhill road all the way. In the village, there are many homestays with both high views and amidst the fields. For those who love to breathe in the natural air and enjoy nature, I highly recommend this place.

We went to Chiang Mai last week to Ban Pa Bong Piang, Rice terraces are indeed a breathtaking sight, especially in places like Ban Pa Bong Piang in Chiang Mai, Thailand. The lush green fields and the way they cascade down the hillsides can create a truly mesmerizing and serene scene. It's such a stunning view!! we really have great time there.
