[2025 Portland Attraction] Travel Guide for Oregon Zoo (Updated Oct)

🚘 Depart from Seattle and drive for about 2 hours to Multnomah Falls in Oregon, the largest waterfall in the state, with a total height of about 189 meters, divided into two sections. ⛰️ Climb a short distance up the mountain to the bridge in the middle of the waterfall and take photos overlooking the beautiful scenery. 🪼 After descending the mountain, you can also go to Mitchell Point Tunnel to enjoy the view of the Columbia River. 🚘 In the afternoon, drive for about 1 hour to Washington Park, located in Portland, covering more than 410 acres, with an international rose test garden, where you can enjoy hundreds of roses, very beautiful. Japanese Garden, experience the Portland Japanese Garden, especially the winter dry landscape, with very large koi. There are also several attractions such as the Oregon Zoo. It is a natural trip worth visiting. 🐛

#SeptemberTravelGrant Located in Washington Park, southwest of downtown Portland, the Oregon Zoo is home to over 2,000 animals and a variety of exhibits. Its proximity to the city center, yet its natural setting, makes it a great place to start your day with a leisurely stroll. We also encountered popular animals like elephants, polar bears, giraffes, and primate primates. There's a fair amount of movement between exhibits, so planning your route wisely will help you see them efficiently. The tropical botanical garden and bird exhibit are particularly memorable. Many families with children also visit, and the well-equipped educational materials and information boards make for a truly educational experience. Pre-purchasing tickets and arriving early will allow for ample time to explore. Comfortable shoes are recommended, as there's a lot of walking involved. If you're looking to experience nature and animals up close during your trip, the Oregon Zoo is highly recommended.

The zoo was really nice! Well laid out with bathrooms and snack bars along the path. We loved the baby orangutan and there were zoo staff at some of the exhibits who gave additional information about the animals.

#amazing Oregon is so beautiful and amazing! I think everyone should visit this place. The weather is fresh and pleasant, the food is delicious, and everything is just wonderful. I hope to come back many more times in the future.
