Ocha Fort is actually the royal city and palace of the ancient Indian kings. The ancient kingdom of India was not a unified country. The kings of various states stood on one side, built cities and palaces, and ruled the local people. Many of the exquisite cities built by the kings of various states have survived to this day, and now they have become a precious historical treasure of India. The Ocha Fort is just one of them. Ocha is usually known as a stop on the golden tourist route of Agra and Khajuraho. In fact, this is also a royal city full of historical stories. Located on the banks of the Betwa River, Ocha was the capital of the Bundela dynasty in ancient times. The princes of the Bandera Dynasty have lived here since 1525 to build bridges and pave roads, and successively built dozens of cities large and small. It was not until the 18th century that the powerful Madira people rose and occupied a vast territory in central India, and the Bandra dynasty had to abandon Ocha and move to Tehri, 40 miles away. Ocha Fort is actually composed of two main palaces, one is the RajMahal Fort, the palace of King Bandera, which is a typical Hindu-style palace. The square courtyard is designed in the shape of a zigzag, with a small square in the middle and a platform for dancing for the king sitting on the second floor to enjoy. Another palace is said to be the Jehangir Mahal Castle built by King Bandera for the visit of the Mughal emperor. The buildings around this palace enclose a square courtyard with a fountain in the courtyard and small domed towers at the four corners of the mouth-shaped building.
