The sea and sky merge into one, with the mysterious ocean swaying a dreamy landscape
Europe's No1 most beautiful beach, it is the sanctuary in my dreams.
Brela beach is the most comfortable beach I have seen over the years, truly second to none.
Sitting on the beach chair watching the sunset, I probably will never forget it in my lifetime.
Indescribably wonderful.
Croatia is really a place I can't stop thinking about.
I always say that I must take this opportunity to live here for a while in the future.
A completely tourist-free, quiet place.
Forbes magazine once rated Brela beach as the No6 beach in the world and the No1 beach in Europe, it is really very beautiful.
Brela beach stretches for 6 kilometers, with very little surf, and is a beautiful sea in Croatia and even Europe. Each bay is like a paradise, and century-old pine trees are distributed along the coastline and the edge of the beach, presenting different visual aesthetics and art, and I am still amazed when I think about it now!
{Geographical Location Overview}
In the Central Dalmatia region of Croatia, Route 8 is the essence of the Croatian coast, with charming white beaches, various hidden small bays with red-tiled fishing villages, and steep cliff sections along the way. Reaching the high ground, you can overlook the islands scattered in the Adriatic Sea, a world-famous coastal road. Among them, the super beautiful beach is the Brela area at the foot of the mountain, with clear and distinct water quality. The special feature is the rows of strong pines on the winding bayside, growing towards the sea with a powerful posture, layers of green shade, red-tiled villas built along the slope, and steep mountains in the distance, simply a heavenly landscape.
Transportation
Bus: Take a bus from Split, along Route 8 for 1 hour, and you can reach the Brela coast, tell the driver the destination in advance
Self-driving: Just navigate, be sure to choose a hotel or B&B that can park, as the beaches are steep and not easy to park
Accommodation 1 Paulina
It is a villa hotel apartment, the pool faces the sea which is super beautiful, and it is very convenient to go down to the beach 2 Bluesun hotel Berulia
A larger hotel, also by the beach, parking is also very good, there are more trees in front of the hotel blocking the sea, but the hotel is still very good

Croatia is a country located at the intersection of Central Europe, the Mediterranean, and the Balkans. It looks like a crescent moon on the map. Croatia has a long coastline, the longest among the Balkan countries, with beautiful scenery along the way; it has over 1185 islands, earning it the nickname 'Country of a Thousand Islands'. The most famous is Plitvice Lakes, where 16 natural lakes are connected, with a large amount of calcium carbonate limestone deposits in the lakes, presenting green, gray, blue, etc., forming an ultimate natural landscape.
☘️
Speaking of Croatia, one must first mention Dubrovnik, also known as 'King's Landing' in the famous 'Game of Thrones'. Even if you're not a fan of the show, it's more customary to call it King's Landing, as it seems to show the grandeur of this ancient city.

【Dubrovnik, Croatia Travel Guide】
Are you attracted by the ancient city with red roofs, the blue sea and the beauty of the islands? Then, Dubrovnik in Croatia is definitely one of the travel destinations you can't miss in your life!
✨Walk on the city wall: Climb the ancient city wall, go around the old city, feel the magnificent scenery, you will be shocked! At sunset, the scenery is even more incomparable.
✨Take a cable car to the top of Srd Mountain to watch the sunset: You can go to the top of the mountain from the cable car station outside the north gate of the ancient city, you will see a 360° panoramic view of Dubrovnik, with beautiful scenery in your eyes. Then have a sunset dinner at the highest restaurant in Dubrovnik, it's so romantic!
✨Wandering in the ancient city: Truly feel the history and culture of Dubrovnik, walk into those narrow alleys, climb those steps with a sense of history, visit various relics, it will definitely leave a deep impression on you.
✨Sea activities: Experience water activities such as kayaking, enjoy the fun and challenge of the sea.
✨Special experience: Find the shooting spots of Game of Thrones, explore the scenes in the drama, it's also a lot of fun!
✨Accommodation suggestions: Because the roads in the old city are mostly bluestone roads, they are not accessible by car, and there are hundreds of steps to enter and exit the city, so it is not recommended to live in the old city. It is recommended to stay in a hillside homestay facing the sea outside the old city, with direct access to the highway, and overlooking Dubrovnik.
✨Itinerary planning: It is recommended to plan a 3-day itinerary, D1 visit Banje Beach and the fortress, then take a cable car to the mountain for a sunset dinner; D2 visit the old city and the city wall; D3 experience sea activities such as kayaking.
✨Best season: The climate is pleasant in May-June and September-October, and there are relatively few people. July-August is hot and crowded with high prices, but the sea water temperature is good. It's cold and rainy from November to April.
I hope this guide can help you! Get ready to start your dream trip to Dubrovnik, Croatia!💖✈️🌊

Dubrovnik - a Balkan Paradise
Dubrovnik is famous for being the location of Games of Thrones, but it's so much more than that. Dubrovnik Old Town is staggeringly beautiful with imposing towers, picturesque streets and a stunning view of the Adriatic Sea.
The tourist traffic can be overwhelming during the summertime. I went there last April and the crowds were manageable.
Food is expensive inside the Old Town (about 20euro per meal, ugh) but there are cheap eats when you venture out of the tourist hotspots.
Go visit!#dubrovnik
Getting There - you can join a cruise or fly into Dubrovnik. You can also travel overland from nearby countries (Bosnia & Herzegovina and Montenegro)
Attractions - The lovely Stradun, Old City Walls and the resorts in Lapad
Hotels - accommodations are kinda pricey
Food & Restaurants - food is also expensive, but there are plenty of options. Have a gelato and pizza
Shopping - The souvenirs inside Okd Town are frightfully expensive

Goodbye Croatia 🇭🇷 | Unforgettable deep blue sea and wind
(empty)
📍Croatia is located on the coast of the Adriatic Sea, with a long history and cultural heritage, unique architectural heritage, which is fascinating. ➕In addition, Croatia's football industry has also contributed to its tourism. But what really leaves a lasting memory is its charming natural scenery.
🎐The Eye of the Earth is located outside the town of Svetina, Croatia🏘, at the foot of the Dinara Mountains.
📷From the perspective of the photographer, the blue-green water waves 🌊 ripple from top to bottom, but they are clear and transparent, and the depth of several hundred meters below can be seen. It's like an eye embedded in the ground.
🧊The beautiful blue-green source of the Setina River is a karst spring, adding a touch of mystery to the atmosphere while also being icy cold.
🎐Zadar, Croatia's geographical location is along the Adriatic Sea🚤, so there are countless small port cities. Zadar has a beautiful environment, but it is little known. Its history is difficult to summarize simply, and it has survived vibrantly through negotiations of war and peace🌅 Due to its long history, the entire old city area is a very complete monument, but the traces of history have not made it too heavy. The beating of the waves, the lively conversations of residents and travelers, make it full of vitality here✨
🎐Dubrovnik is located on the pleasant climate Dalmatian coast and is a medieval city with a long history. Because of its long history,
🕍The buildings inside the city are well-preserved, and some streets in the old town have even been included in the "World Heritage List".
The best viewing spot is at the top of Srd Mountain, where you can almost see the entire "King's Landing" 🌇.
When the sunset glow falls on this mountaintop, looking down is the historical style of Dubrovnik's urban area, looking far away is the blue sea of the Adriatic Sea 🌊, as if the sea breeze here also has form and color.

Hidden corners in Old Dubrovnik 🇭🇷
Dubrovnik is a pearl of the Adriatic Coastline and you will understand this term as soon as you visit it. The old town is surrounded by massive walls and the panoramic views are filled with typical orange rooftops. This city will have you walk endless stairs, but you will certainly come back for more – that’s how beautiful it is. During summer, the sunset created amazing golden light for your photo and you will be able to capture the beauty of Dubrovnik. #tripblazers #mytripvlog #beachlife #urbanexplorer #awesomepic #summervacation

Old city of Dubrovnik
#celebratewithtrip
The city of Dubrovnik is one of the favorite destinations among those traveling to Croatia. The medieval city is so well preserved, with intact walls and is surrounded by the beautiful Adriatic Sea.
The city walls are the symbol of Dubrovnik and are considered one of the most beautiful fortification systems in the world.
By entering the Pile Gate you will find yourself at the beginning of the main city street – Stradun. Stradun is the widest and longest street inside the city walls it is also the most popular street of the Old Town. All the palaces and buildings on the street house business on the ground floor. You can find everything from souvenir and jewelry shops to cafes and pastry shops. Restaurants are mostly situated in the two streets parallel to Stradun.
This place is just so beautiful that you have to see it on your own.

Game Of Thrones City!
#celebratewithtrip
Me and my girlfriend flew to Dubrovnik, the city of game of thrones using Trip.com.
Dubrovnik is a famous city in the southeastern semi-exclave of Croatia 🇭🇷.
While visiting Dubrovnik you must go to ‘Old Town’, this historical part of Dubrovnik is famous for its medieval appearance. The original city walls, which where built for the protection of the city still stand and can be walked on (which I definitely recommend).
For the game of thrones fans this is the place to be, have lunch on the stairs of shame, visit the red keep or do a full GOT tour!
I cannot recommend Dubrovnik enough, it’s a beautiful city filled with beautiful people. #dubrovnik #tripblazers #summervacation

Game of Throne Land
The place where Game of Throne originate from. Beautiful city in my eye lenses. Brought by local friend here. Although I didn't watch / play Game of Throne, this is a tourists site for those who loves it.
The buildings are nice and unique colonial place, even walkway is already so pretty. Sunrise will compliment it. I love walking down the street even without doing anything else. Just observe and look around.
Food here is expensive but big portion, can share for 2. Please bring enough cash as some places don't accept credit cards!

There’s a reason behind all the Dubrovnik hype: this city is absolutely filled with things to do that will keep any kind of traveler entertained. World class cuisine, the beautiful Adriatic Sea, UNESCO sites, charming streets to wander, fun souvenir shopping, and amazing museums are just some of the amazing things to do on your Dubrovnik trip. Some of my favorite restaurants were Azur (Asia-Mediterranean fusion), Taj Mahal (Bosnian food), and Stara Loza (Michelin starred and beautiful, perfect for a lighter meal). For a snack, try Soul Caffe or Peppino’s for gelato. Be sure to walk the city walls of Old Town Dubrovnik for the best views of the city, shop in Old Town’s Gundulic Square Market, catch sunset at cliffside Buza Bar, take a day trip around the Elaphiti Islands, wander one of the museums in Old Town, and go swimming in the sea if the weather is nice!

Dubrovnik is part of Croatia even some 10-20km Bosnian territory separates it from the mainland Croatia. With its Venetian architecture it is the most famous place in Croatia and maybe all around the Balkan peninsula. Also it hosts one very huge Jacht Marina for one of the richest people in Europe

The Old Town of Dubrovnik is the main location for the "Game of Thrones" Junlin City, and senior fans must check in. The
Dubrovnik Wall is a defensive stone wall surrounding the Old Town. It has stood in the south of Croatia since the 7th century and is considered to be one of the greatest defense systems of the Middle Ages and has never been destroyed. In 1979, the Old City of Dubrovnik and a large part of the city wall were included in the World Cultural Heritage List by UNESCO. Most of what we see now is built in the 12th and 17th centuries. It is 1940 meters long, almost a circle around the city, and the highest is 25 meters. It is the largest and most complete complex structural wall in Europe, protecting Dubrovnik. Five centuries of peace and prosperity.
The old town is now a famous tourist destination. Walking through the walls of Dubrovnik, you can not only enjoy the beautiful sea view outside the city, but also 360-degree view of the old city. The slate of the Old Town Street has been honed over the years.

Dubrovnik the hidden gem!
Some snapshots of dubrovnik! The vibes were amazing, the ice cream was definitely a highlight, make sure to head to Peppino’s gelato and get the Dubrovnik creme brûlée! October weather was also amazing at 22 degrees daily, be sure to wear sunscreen. The old town was also a highlight both during the day and at night, the people were all lovely in the local stores, a must visit!

Explore King's Landing.
King's Landing, the actual filming location of the Old Town of Dubrovnik in Croatia, is an important scene in Game of Thrones. Stroll along the cobblestone streets of the ancient city, flanked by Romanesque, Gothic, Renaissance, and Baroque architecture, all of which bear witness to the long history and unique culture of Dubrovnik. These buildings are not only beautiful in appearance, but also rich in historical stories, making you feel as if you have traveled back to the prosperous Middle Ages. In the center of the ancient city is the famous ancient castle. Built between the 14th and 16th centuries, this castle is one of the iconic buildings of the Old Town of Dubrovnik. Standing on the castle, overlooking the entire city, feeling the sea breeze gently brushing your face, you can almost hear the echoes of history.
In addition to its architecture and history, the Old Town of Dubrovnik is also known for its unique geographical location and beautiful natural scenery. Walk along the city walls and enjoy the beautiful scenery of the ancient city and the Adriatic Sea, and feel the close connection between the city and the sea.

I just spent an incredible day in Dubrovnik’s Old Town, and it was like stepping into a living history book! Wandering through the ancient city walls was a highlight, with the €30 entrance fee giving access to stunning views of the city and the Adriatic Sea. The well-preserved fortifications and historical landmarks were truly impressive.
I also explored the charming Placa (Stradun), the main street lined with beautiful buildings, shops, and cafes. Don’t miss the Rector’s Palace and the Dubrovnik Cathedral—both offer fascinating glimpses into the city’s past. After exploring, I relaxed at a nearby café, soaking in the lively atmosphere and enjoying a delicious local pastry.

The Pearl of the Adriatic—Dubrovnik
Dubrovnik's old town was built in the 7th century AD, nestled between mountains and sea, and is famous for its enchanting scenery. It is a popular vacation destination known as the 'Pearl of the Adriatic.'
This place is one of the main filming locations for King's Landing, the capital of the Seven Kingdoms in the TV series 'Game of Thrones.'
The day we visited was extremely hot, but we were still drawn to many attractions by the scenery: taking a cable car to see the panoramic view, with the mountaintop being the best place to enjoy the beauty of Dubrovnik; Lovrijenac Fortress, standing outside the western gate of the old town, guarding the land like a sentinel, facing the old town across the sea, and taking 'Game of Thrones' style photos at King's Landing harbor; as well as the beach, Jesuit Stairs, Spanish Steps, and more. 'Game of Thrones' fans will surely recognize many familiar scenes.

Dubrovnik Old Town Walking Tour
#familytrips2024
First-timer in Dubrovnik? You can join one of the guided walking tours which begins from the Pile Gate, the western entrance of the Old Town. You will walk down the cobblestone paths of the Stradun, while the tour guide showed you the various sights of the Old Town and gave more insights and history of what you see.
We walked past Onofrio’s Fountain, a multi-faucet fountain of drinking water, the Franciscan Monastery, Sponza Palace, Church of St. Blaise, and more. The Old Town was quite crowded, but we can hear him clearly from the earpiece provided.

Dubrovnik Old Town
On the second day of arrival in Dubrovnik, the Old Town is a well-preserved medieval architectural museum in southern Croatia, where typical styles of various European architectures can be found. The Old Town was listed as a World Cultural Heritage site in 1979. It is geographically well-situated, right in the middle of the Adriatic Sea, serving as a natural excellent harbor. Whether taking the cable car to overlook the entire city and harbor from the castle or sailing along the coast, every moment is filled with wonder... The trip to the Balkan Peninsula was aimed at Dubrovnik, and it indeed did not disappoint.

Nestled between mountains and sea, with lush forests, it is an ancient city with a medieval atmosphere.
During the Middle Ages, Dubrovnik was the center of the Republic of Ragusa and played an important role as a transit point in trade between the Adriatic Sea and the East and West. In 1979, Dubrovnik was included in the UNESCO World Heritage List.
