This park boasts the most beautiful sea views in Keelung. Everyone who visits here says it's truly beautiful. After paying the park entrance fee, just walk straight into the park. The path is clean and easy to navigate. As you walk, you'll come across rock formations with unusual shapes, created by erosion from the sea. At the viewing point, there's a pavilion perched on a rock facing the sea. It's a beautiful place to take photos. You could take hundreds of them just here. The atmosphere is pleasant, with a cool breeze and the sound of the waves. I heard there's also a swimming pool built into the sea. Has anyone seen it? I wasn’t expecting much, but walking through the tunnel was actually pretty awesome. It’s super quiet, a little spooky, and full of that old, mysterious vibe. The tunnel dates back to the Qing Dynasty, and it’s wild to think trains used to run through here. The lighting inside is subtle but just enough to see where you’re going. The walk isn’t long, but it feels like stepping into a piece of the past. There’s a small park area nearby too, so it’s a nice place to just chill and take a break. It’s not flashy or touristy, but that’s kind of the charm. If you’re around Keelung and want something unusual and mellow, this place is a cool little side trip.

This time I came to Keelung Art Museum to see Japanese artist Hirako Yuichi's first large-scale museum solo exhibition in Taiwan, "Landscape Beyond Ideal". The exhibition is inspired by Keelung's mountain and sea landforms, and through the three major themes of "town", "mountains" and "ocean", it creates a dreamy and spiritual art journey. The work starts from the perspective of all things having spirits, creating a small tree man character with trees on his head and wearing various costumes, with immersive exhibition and translucent gauze visual design, making people feel like walking into a flowing landscape painting. The three-dimensional installation of mountains, oceans and cute little tree men echoes each other, which is really cute. However, I personally recommend wandering around the Keelung Harbor area first—take some photos of the harbor scenery or grab some snacks before heading out! Before entering Peace Island, make sure to purchase your tickets online. Not only does it save time, but you can also sign up for the early bird guided tour, where a professional guide explains everything on-site. It's super interesting, and the rock formations are incredibly photogenic—some resemble tofu, others look like turtles. You'll want to snap photos of them all! The park's route is well-planned, with clear signs along the way. There's even a pavilion in the middle of the park, and I highly recommend taking a break there.
