The Olivia Bridge, the full name of the Octavio Friasl de Oliveira Bridge, is a cable-stayed bridge across the Rio Pinheriros in the city of São Paulo. The bridge was completed in May 2008, took three years, and has a total length of 1.4 kilometers, connecting Pinheros Avenue and Roberto Marinho Avenue. It is a bridge with two curved tracks supported by one mast, and it is also the most curved cable-stayed bridge in the world. The two tracks, one 12 meters above sea level and the other 24 meters high, are each approximately 900 meters long. The shape of the main tower looks like a capital "X" and is very huge, reaching a height of 138 meters, which is equivalent to the height of a 46-story building. The lower part of the "X" is 76 meters wide and the upper part is 35.4 meters wide. The bridge is designed to withstand winds of up to 250 kilometers per hour. Sensors are installed on each fastener to control the force applied to them, as well as adjust the mechanical stress of the assembly. At the end of December every year, colorful lights will be hung on the bridge cables, and the main tower of the bridge will be decorated like a Christmas tree, which is very dazzling.
