Visited this resort twice—initially just after it launched and then again last year. Right after the opening, it was truly impressive. There was a room full of desserts, A5 beef, and an underwater restaurant—sheer luxury. However, when we returned a year and a half later, it had changed. The food quality was average, dessert options were down to two, the A5 beef disappeared, and the overall quality and drinks had unfortunately dropped to just OK. I wish they could revive that fantastic dining experience. Overall, it's a decent 5-star hotel. Also, among our group of eight, three ended up with food poisoning at various times during our stay, which surely isn't a coincidence.

This was the greatest vacation we've ever experienced, and we've recently journeyed across the globe. The team, the accommodation, wildlife, and the cuisine and beverages were outstanding. A big thank you to Esther for being our hostess, and to all the other staff, especially Jenny in the restaurant. The food and drinks are beyond 5-star, as is the service. The underwater restaurant was beyond belief! Service and food were superb alongside the spectacular fish. The main restaurant offered a wide selection with very attentive staff who would go above and beyond to accommodate you. Snorkeling was fantastic, and we watched dolphins frolicking and sharks literally passing behind our room. A glance at night reveals bats, and early morning brings sightings of lizards. I wouldn't hesitate to book here, and we're eager to return next year.

The main restaurant Ylang Ylang was also a standout. The buffet offered an extensive variety of dishes. Breakfasts were particularly impressive with porridge and numerous egg choices—omelets, scrambled, boiled, fried eggs, and more. The coffee was excellent, and we really liked having the option of decaf coffee! ☕ All in all, this was truly the best vacation we have ever experienced. Arrival & TransfersThe transfer from Malé was smooth and quick. After clearing immigration and customs， we found the Oblu desk and， within 15 minutes， were aboard the speedboat to Lobigili. The ride lasts about 15–20 minutes， making it roughly an hour from plane to arrival on the island. We were warmly welcomed at the jetty and checked in at the relaxed Swing Bar， followed by a brief buggy tour before heading to our rooms. There’s no formal lobby or reception desk—just genuine hospitality. AccommodationOur group of six—my wife， our son and daughter with their partners—booked three SunNest Beach Pool Villas (rooms 110， 111， and 112). Perfectly positioned， they were equally close to both the Swing Bar and Ylang-Ylang restaurant. These tranquil rooms open directly onto the beach， facing the sunset.Why Lobigili? The personal service was top-notch.Our water bungalow was breathtaking， featuring a glass floor window， an open bathroom where you could see the sea， and steps into the ocean. I highly recommend the side with a private pool and sunset view; the other side faces the family's part of the island and lacks a pool. We indulged in a floating breakfast—extravagant but a perfect luxury.We stayed 8 days to enjoy 2 complimentary underwater restaurant visits and massages. The underwater restaurant was surreal， with sharks and fish swimming by—an amazing and unique experience with delicious food. The best seats are halfway down on the left. The massages were fantastic， too; we upgraded our Lobi plan massage to a deep tissue one. Both were incredible， and Vuli， Komang， Nuima， and Pebri were skilled at relieving our back pain. The resort is adults-only， ideal for relaxation， with immaculate surroundings and serene beauty. We didn't visit the family side， preferring our peaceful oasis.Snorkeling every day revealed plenty of fish and sharks. We brought our own masks and fins but borrowing is possible. If the steps into the sea seem steep， there are plenty of beach access points and a complimentary boat trip for snorkeling. There's also a sunset boat trip， which was fantastic.I could go on about this resort， but instead， I encourage you to visit and see it for yourself.
