We were group of 4 couples and 1 single friend and we stayed there for three nights and we had blast there.

We stayed at the resort for 16 nights celebrating our honeymoon, starting with an air-conditioned speed boat pickup, which was a lifesaver and made for an excellent beginning. At first arrival, we feared we would feel bored, but that was far from the case. We've truly fallen for this place! The wildlife, the relaxed atmosphere, the staff, and the lodging have been fantastic! We can't really find faults; however, beyond the shop, a few more snack options would be nice. The excursions are quite pricey, but the complimentary ones included with our stay were superb—we saw numerous dolphins on the sunset cruise! We lodged in an over-water villa and it was stunning! Our room had everything we required and more. It was tidied daily, and the fridge was restocked with water, soda cans, and even a few beers. The resort's food was delectable; even after such an extended stay, we never found it monotonous and savored everything. There were two restaurant options, both delightful, but we adored the Indian restaurant's service the most—they always went above and beyond for us, with food that was superb both in taste and presentation. We are sad to depart but eager to return soon! Wonderful stay!!!

Everything is truly fantastic. We're spending our honeymoon in the Maldives for the first time and have completely fallen for this place! We stayed at this exquisite resort for 2 weeks in August 2025 and had an incredibly relaxing time. Six of us (three couples) enjoyed a wonderful 8-night stay at the Oblu Nature. We received a warm welcome at the jetty upon arrival and were escorted directly to our rooms. We all stayed in lagoon villas， which were fantastic—spacious with everything you needed. The villas overlooked the ocean， with many fish passing by daily. The all-inclusive buffets were among the best I've experienced—huge thanks to the chefs. A highlight was dining at Raga Route and Just Grill—amazing food and service. There was plenty to do throughout the week， or you could just relax on the beach and snorkel (a unique experience here). The compact island is well maintained with a beautiful tree-lined path leading back to the villas. The covered transport buggy was a welcome perk during the rainy nights. This resort is such a friendly， laid-back place where the staff go out of their way for you. They truly want you to be happy! Special thanks to Simpa and Chinmoy in the restaurant (thank you for our farewell dinner!)， Wita， Anjali， Kessi， Dulan， and Hikail at the bar (always taking care of us) and Siddhu and Middhu for the amazing cocktails. Although a few days of sunbathing were interrupted by dramatic storms， we enjoyed watching them pass as we mostly had a hot， sunny， and breezy week. It was a lovely touch to be waved off from the jetty on our departure. We would all return to the Oblu Nature and highly recommend it to anyone considering booking. We stayed in the Sunset Water Villa (number 718， third from the end)， and it was just perfect. Offering complete privacy， it’s ideal for sun lovers since it gets sun all day! We enjoyed mornings at the adult pool until lunchtime and then spent afternoons relaxing on our villa deck. The drinks were plentiful， and the housekeeping team was always ready to help with whatever we needed. While we loved the Sunset Water Villas， we checked out the Beach Villas and found they lacked the privacy and beach area we wanted. If you’re deciding between the two， we strongly recommend the water villas for a more secluded， luxurious vibe—not the Lagoon Villas. The buffet was good， with a wide selection， though we felt lunch could use a bit more variety. However， the overall quality was consistently high， and we never left hungry. We also dined at both à la carte venues. Unfortunately， the Indian restaurant was a bit disappointing—service was slow， and the food didn’t quite meet our expectations. In contrast， the Grill was terrific， with wonderful service and delicious food that left us very satisfied. Would we visit OBLU NATURE Helengeli again? Definitely! The stunning setting， top-notch service， and relaxed atmosphere made our holiday unforgettable. Alain， Manas， and the entire team made our stay special. We had a fantastic time at Oblu H. The beach villa with a pool was just right. If you prefer that kind of villa， choose one close to the shoreline. Oblu itself is a breathtaking island. Everyone was welcoming， the food was excellent， with lots of choice. The coffee was superb. The drinks from the all-inclusive package are excellent. The snorkeling is incredible. Start from the jetty and snorkel toward the restaurant. You'll notice two poles in the water marking where it's okay to swim toward the shore. Avoid snorkeling toward the shore elsewhere， as the water is too shallow and there’s a lot of coral reef. If you're unaware， you can select your pillow. We had a massage， which was very pleasant and reasonably priced. The weather was wonderful， despite the forecast showing rain every day. Be cautious if you decide to use the photo shoot option. Agree on the final price and ensure all service charges are included. For tipping， USD is preferred. Snorkeling gear is available at the resort. If you want to book the sunset or fishing tour， you can combine them in the fishing tour and enjoy the sunset while fishing. Shampoo and conditioner are provided in your room. Check the UV levels， as some people were quite sunburned.

This was my 12th trip to the Maldives. I tend to choose a new resort each visit since the islands offer unique atmospheres. This time， I traveled with two friends， one of whom had never been there before. The island transfer took about 40 minutes by speedboat. We visited in May and， although I half-expected it， I was still surprised by the rainy weather. It rained nearly every day， aside from some clear mornings. We lodged in a beach villa with a pool on the island's sunset side. The beach here is quite narrow， bearing signs of erosion. The room comfortably accommodated three， complete with a small patio by the private pool. The bathroom was spacious with plenty of amenities. The beach on the sunrise side is wider， though there's some debris from recent restoration work. The bar area is substantial and there’s a large pool nearby with ample sun beds. The resort includes three restaurants. If you stay longer than 7 nights， you can visit the other restaurants， and it's included. The main restaurant features a buffet with a broad range of dishes， emphasizing Asian cuisine—the curry corner is a highlight. For breakfast， lunch， and dinner， there's a great selection， and drinks are taken at your table. The beach restaurant was delightful with an inviting vibe and atmosphere. The food and service were very attentive. The Indian restaurant had a nice setting， and the food and service there were also lovely. What sets this island apart is its incredible house reef， showcasing some of the most colorful coral I've encountered in the Maldives. Snorkeling is possible on both sides， though be mindful of the currents. We tried the Spa on a rainy day， which was fantastic， offering a great location， lovely gardens， and amazing treatments. I rated the resort four stars mainly because there could be a better selection of cocktails and drinks， more European food options， and different live music in the bar during the evenings. Overall， it was a very pleasant stay despite the rainy weather.

#myhiddengems The most beautiful stay at Oblu Helengeli. The marine life and snorkelling was such a highlight with gorgeous blue ocean and white sandy beaches. The hotel offered a tranquil spa and nightly live music. The room had a tropical lush outdoor shower and the staff were the loveliest people. This hotel is more than just a resort, it’s a state of mind. The whole experience left us feeling refreshed, rejuvenated and with a deep appreciation for nature’s beauty.
