Fly Like a Bird | Tandem Skydiving
When it comes to exciting activities, Queenstown is definitely one of the best places in the world.
Queenstown is located in a natural environment with complex and thrilling terrain, including rapids, fjords, and mountains. Many thrilling activities have been developed here without damaging nature.
You can find all kinds of activities here, from mountain climbing to water sports to flying. So before coming to New Zealand, I saw in some friends' introductions that you shouldn't dress too formally for a trip to New Zealand, or you'll be out of place.
In Queenstown on the South Island, you can enjoy exciting activities all year round, such as jet boating, white-water rafting, and skydiving.
Cool extreme sports are also one of the highlights of traveling in New Zealand. In fact, the regular expenses of self-driving in New Zealand are not much, but extreme sports are the most expensive.
A bungee jump costs more than RMB 1,000, a skydive costs more than RMB 2,000, and a glacier hike costs more than RMB 2,000. After playing the whole set, you'll be eating dirt for more than half a year.
In Queenstown, I participated in the most exciting and unforgettable extreme sports challenge of this trip: skydiving.
I was hesitant before signing up, but when I really got on the plane, strapped to the instructor, opened the cabin door, and flipped out, I felt it was really worth it.
🉑 Recommended locations: Nelson/Queenstown/Lake Wakatipu
🉑 Height options: 9,000 ft/12,000 ft/15,000 ft
🙋 Notes: Prepare yourself mentally before jumping. The process is very fast, and you'll be down in the blink of an eye. Free fall time: 16,500 ft is about 30–40 seconds. The moment the instructor opens the parachute is the most exciting, and it feels like bungee jumping.
📝 Tips:
It's recommended not to eat in the morning, you know what I mean :-)
If you're nearsighted, you can wear your glasses inside the goggles
