Transportation: I rented a motorcycle in Chiang Mai, as I am a rider myself. Safety varies from person to person; if you can ride, it's fine. For those who can't ride or are just average, it's advisable to maintain balance! Some sections in Chiang Mai, like Nimman Road, are quite challenging due to heavy traffic and narrow roads.
As for the Thai JC checkpoints, I didn't encounter any during my two-day rental, but I heard that if you're caught, a fine of 500 Thai Baht is sufficient and you can continue riding.
There are plenty of car rentals on the streets of Chiang Mai, with fairly uniform prices. I rented near my hotel for convenience, at a price of 250 Thai Baht per day (24 hours means if you take it at 3 pm today, you return it at 3 pm the next day) with a deposit of 3000 Thai Baht (instant refund upon return).
For Chiang Rai, I rented a car to drive myself. It took about 3 hours to get there, and a bit longer, around 3 hours and 30 minutes, on the way back because it was dark and I drove slower. The cost was 4500 Thai Baht (also for 24 hours), with a deposit of 5000 Thai Baht. Although Thailand has right-hand drive vehicles, which I was not very familiar with, I got used to it after driving around Chiang Mai city for a while and remembering the turns. There's no expressway from Chiang Mai to Chiang Rai, it's like a national highway in China. Thai drivers are quite disciplined and honestly, they have better driving etiquette than in China, so it's quite safe. Just be careful when driving at night on mountain roads, as they have sharper and steeper curves than ours.
Accommodation: I recommend staying near Tha Phae Gate in Chiang Mai for convenience, as there are many 7-11s around.
Finally, I visited some classic places. I understand that Chiang Mai, like our Lhasa, has many temples and is a holy Buddhist land, so I mostly visited temples to worship. I went to the Wat Phra That Doi Suthep (which houses a relic of the Buddha),
the Great Buddha Stupa,
and in Chiang Rai, the White Temple, Blue Temple, and Black House.

Chiang Mai Nimman cost-effective beef noodle restaurant Hor see chaai
Hor see chaai, located in Nimmanhaemin, Chiang Mai, is a delicious restaurant located in the corner of the building next to Starbucks.
The price range is about 50-70 baht for a small size,
and you can choose the type of noodles yourself.
I ordered a large size with thick noodles, and the amount was much larger than I thought!

Recommended cafes for laptop use in Chiang Mai, the mecca of digital nomads living for a month!

A place where digital nomads can live for a month! Chiang Mai
There are many cafes and the internet is relatively good, so
there are many digital nomads who work and travel in Chiang Mai. I was one of them☺️
So I looked for cafes in Chiang Mai that are good for working on laptops~
Among them, Finland Republic Cafe was the best place.
First of all, I liked the comfortable atmosphere of the large two-story cafe. The interior has a stylish interior and
strong air conditioning. The staff is also very
friendly, and of course, the coffee is delicious!☕
It's hard to find bad coffee in Chiang Mai.
It's not just a place optimized for digital nomads who work on laptops~ The cafe is located in the center of Nimmanhaemin,
and it also has a variety of cakes, so it's good to stop by while sightseeing~

If you visit Chiang Mai, don't miss the half-outdoor shopping center in One Nimman! The geometric buildings outdoor square will make you feel like you're in Europe. Life seems to slow down at One Nimman. Although this is a commercial area full of culture and creativity, it looks more like a residential square.
“Nimman is the best place to live in Chiang Mai”
Nimman is the area where everything you want is already there just a few walks away. from delicious good from different cuisine, night life, shopping and good coffee. naah, i just love this area so i ended up living here for 6 months.

Nimman Road in Chiang Mai, a journey through time in search of Thai culture
To experience traditional Thai culture in Chiang Mai, the Thai costume shops on Nimman Road are a great choice. Here you can choose from a variety of Thai costumes, and the staff also offer makeup and photography services, allowing you to fully enjoy the fun of traveling through time.
You can discuss different makeup styles with the staff, Korean or Thai. The makeup artists are very professional and will carefully present the features of Thai makeup. The photographers in the shop are also very good, capable of taking fairy-tale-like photos.
The price is also very reasonable. For just a few hundred yuan, you can have beautiful photos in traditional costumes, which is definitely worth the experience. If you want to delve deeper into Thai culture, this Thai costume shop on Nimman Road is a great choice.

As everyone knows, Nimman One is a great place to stroll around
Hey, buddies👋, I just got back from Chiang Mai's Nimman One! It's literally a shopping paradise, and I can't help but share! Check out my super practical guide, and let's enjoy the fun of shopping and the local cultural experience together!🎉
🌈 In the Nimman One shopping district of Chiang Mai, it's not only a great place for shopping but also an excellent spot to experience Chiang Mai culture. Stepping into this district that combines food, fashion, and art, you can feel the perfect blend of local charm and modern vibes.
👗 First up, fashionistas take note! There are various styles of clothing stores here, from Thai local designs to international brands, everything you could want. And the prices are so friendly compared to other places! I've already found several unique pieces of clothing here, and wearing them, I feel like the brightest star on the street!💃
🍜 Tired from all the shopping? Don't worry, the district is filled with so many delicious foods that it will make your head spin! Authentic Thai snacks, as well as fresh and artistic cafes, are all around. Sit down and enjoy a cup of aromatic Thai milk tea, savor a serving of authentic mango sticky rice, and you'll be fully revived!🍹
📚 If you're a fan of cultural and creative products, don't miss the handicraft shops and bookstores here. Every little item reflects the wisdom and unique craftsmanship of the Thai people. I couldn't help but buy many little things as souvenirs!
📸 Don't forget, Nimman One is also a hotspot for photo check-ins. Whether it's the design-filled murals or those little corners surrounded by greenery, they are all great places to take beautiful photos.
💬 Alright, that's it for my exploration of the Nimman One shopping district in Chiang Mai! If you're planning a spontaneous trip, don't miss this great place!👋

Take my advice: There's no need to visit a certain mall in Chiang Mai
🌟 The overall cost of living in Chiang Mai is much lower than in Bangkok. When you come here to play, besides exploring shops and enjoying the food, the most important thing, of course, is to shop till you drop! I've compiled a list of shopping districts and markets in Chiang Mai worth visiting, and of course, I've also identified some to avoid. These are all based on my personal experience and are just for reference!
🛍️ Shopping Centers: There are only two major shopping centers in Chiang Mai. One is the Maya Shopping Center near the Nimmanhaemin Road area, and the other is the Central Festival Chiang Mai, which is near the Yee Peng Market to the northeast of the old city. I suggest just going to Central, as it's very large and has many local clothing brands. I must say, Thai clothing is really vibrant! There's also a food court on the basement level with so many snacks you can't count them all! I'll give specific food recommendations in the next issue.
MAYA Shopping Center, I think, is a dud💣. The mall is not big at all, and the brands are few and far between, similar to a shopping center in a small county in China.
⭕️ Shopping Districts: Although MAYA isn't great for shopping, the nearby Nimmanhaemin Road is definitely worth a visit. Nimmanhaemin Road Soi 1 is a plaza with an art park atmosphere, which also has many local brands and craft shops, as well as some trendy brands. If you're tired from walking, there's a 'lets relax' massage shop nearby, a famous chain brand. In the evening, there will be a night market in the plaza, and there's also a Michelin-recommended restaurant and many popular coffee shops. It can be said that everything Chiang Mai has to offer is here, and it's a place every visitor should go to.
🌴 Markets: I visited 4 markets this time.
· Nimmanhaemin Road Soi 1 Market: Standard fare, not very big. If you're not already in the area, I wouldn't recommend making a special trip.
· Yee Peng Market: Only open during the day on weekends. Even when it's not market day, it's still worth visiting for a photo op, as it's really picturesque. Everyone goes there not really to shop, but to take pictures... Accordingly, the market itself isn't that attractive.
· Sunday Night Market: I chose the Sunday Night Market over the Saturday Night Market because the Sunday Night Market is near Tha Phae Gate, which is very convenient, and it's really super super super big, too big to finish exploring! The Saturday Night Market is in the south of the city, which was too far from where we stayed, so we didn't go. By the way, besides the night market itself, remember to visit the craft shops on both sides of the road. There are many handmade pots, pans, and ornaments that are really exquisite! I bought a lot to take home, they make great gifts and are very affordable to display in the house.
· Chang Khlan Road Night Market: If you're staying near Tha Phae Gate, you can go for a stroll in the evening. It's mostly food and drink, and the novelty is that there are live band performances. Other than that, there's not much else.
· The last regret is not going to JJ Market, which is said to be a gathering place for artistic products, and the recently popular Goods Goods is also there. Be sure to pay attention to the opening hours when you go! It basically ends in the afternoon, and I missed it because I overslept...
🌟 That's all for the shopping part, next time I'll recommend some local food that I found quite good!

Akyra Manor Chiang Mai Hotel - Akyra Minor Chiangm
🔵A low-key habitat on Nimman Road
This time, four of us sisters came to Thailand for a trip, and we flew from Bangkok to Chiang Mai early in the morning. We just caught a light rain, and the fresh and quiet after the rain and the clouds in the mountains made this city, commonly known as the Rose of Northern Thailand, have a different charming charm.
The hotel chose the niche hotel Akyra Manor under the SLH flag, which is also a light luxury design hotel, but the hotel strictly adheres to the check-in at three o'clock in the afternoon, even if the occupancy rate is not high. So after hurriedly putting down the luggage, I went to the nearby Thapae Gate during the day when there were few people.
I stayed in two deluxe rooms, which are the basic rooms of the hotel. Because I basically play outside, and then divide two rooms is very convenient, so it doesn't matter. But how to say the room, it still feels very ordinary. And some places are really unsanitary. The Mini bar is free, but there is nothing.
If I remember correctly, the hotel is divided into two separate buildings, one is the lobby and the deluxe room, and the other is the restaurant, suite and rooftop bar and swimming pool. Breakfast is in the Italics restaurant next door. Semi-open buffet, order up to two servings per person. Mainly European style, the local dishes taste average. Desserts will be mixed with hair, casually told the serving staff, just a sorry and took it away without looking back.
The swimming pool is on the top floor, although the floor is not high, but the scenery is good, you can overlook the ancient city of Chiang Mai. The rooftop bar is also here, you can order a drink at will, and swim while in a daze. It's just that this pool is so mini that it looks like a big fish tank. If you are not in good shape, it is better not to go in. For example, a big fat man from North America jumped in without hesitation. Through the refraction of the sun outside the tank and the clear bottom of the pool, this scene is really like a huge boiled meat slice and pickled cabbage fat fish moving inside, it's really spicy haha...
Although the hotel's service and details are very unsatisfactory, as a niche hotel like SLH, it is also a matter of opinion. But it has to be said that the location is excellent, and it is Nimman Road when you go out. From some angles, the hotel can still meet different customer groups.
When CO, the hotel gave a postcard as a gift. The illustrations inside make people love Chiang Mai even more. How to say, Akyra Manor, this small boutique hotel, is very much a type of radish and cabbage, each has its own love, there is no need to recommend, everything is fate, if one day someone comes to Chiang Mai for the first time and happens to live here, maybe there will be some beautiful memories.

I stumbled upon a street food stall in Nimman Road, Chiang Mai, Thailand. This stall specialized in fried snacks like banana, taro, pumpkin, and potatoes. I decided to try the fried taro, and it was delicious.
One notable thing I observed was that they used clear and clean cooking oil, which is a good indicator of a healthier preparation. The fried taro was both tasty and affordable, costing only 20 Thai Baht.
I recommend this street food stall to nearby travelers looking for a quick and delicious snack.

Chiang Mai, Thailand
Chiang Mai is a great place for family trips, surrounded by green mountains and rivers, with a variety of jungle outdoor activities and a wide range of wild animal species. The locals are simple and you can see ancient temples that are hundreds of years old everywhere, with a strong religious and cultural atmosphere.
Attraction guide
①Tapei Gate
Chiang Mai's ancient city has experienced the vicissitudes of wind, rain, and time, leaving only the red brick walls and white pigeons for future generations.
2. Pashin Temple
Located in the ancient city, it is the largest Buddhist temple in Chiang Mai. When visiting the temple, pay attention to your attire and you will also encounter many monks.
③ Sunday night market
Located in the ancient city, it is the largest night market in Chiang Mai. Starting from Tha Phae Gate, it spans the ancient city all the way to Wat Phra Singh, nearly 1 kilometer long, offering a one-stop experience of eating, drinking and entertainment.
④Nimman Road
Nimman Road is located between Chiang Mai Old City and Chiang Mai University. It is a famous small fresh and artistic district in Chiang Mai, gathering many unique cafes and restaurants with a strong sense of petty bourgeoisie. You can choose to take a songthaew or tuk-tuk to get there.
5. Chiang Mai University
A comprehensive public university located in Thailand, with unique Thai characteristics, worth a visit.
⑥Su Tie Mountain & Shuanglong Temple
"In Thai, 'Suthep' means 'friend of the gods'. Doi Suthep has an altitude of 1667 meters and there is a Wat Phra That Doi Suthep temple halfway up the mountain."
⑦Baan Kang Wat Art Village
Chiang Mai's emerging artistic sanctuary, a hidden gem in the city. Here, the traditional way of life of the Chiang Mai people is preserved, and the founder has turned it into a creative community filled with classical wooden houses, numerous handicraft shops, art studios, and other delightful surprises.
⑧Chiang Mai Night Safari
During the day, if you're not too tired from playing, you can visit the Chiang Mai Night Safari located at the foot of Doi Suthep. The Chiang Mai Night Safari is the best night safari I've ever been to. Sitting in the sightseeing car, cute animals walk around you, such as giraffes, zebras, antelopes, kangaroos, hippos, and more. Sometimes they even come to ask for food. Of course, fierce animals like tigers and lions are separated by safety nets.

TASTE CAFE, a hidden cafe known only to locals in Chiang Mai, Thailand☕️
#Southeast Asia travel #Thailand travel #Chiang Mai cafe
If you search for Chiang Mai cafe on Naver, several
representative cafes will come up~ The one I went to was TASTE, a cafe that many locals visit☕️
This place is located at the bottom of Nimmanhaemin downtown
and is a bit out of the way, so you can't just stop by~
It's a place you can only visit if you really want toㅎ
When I actually went there, it seemed to be a popular place for local Thais, especially the young generation. The cafe atmosphere and interior were very stylish, unlike other out-of-the-way areas.
The cafe is quite large, and there are many types of coffee😚
If you want to feel the young atmosphere of locals rather than a cafe crowded with tourists, I recommend you take the time to
visit TASTE Cafe👍🏻

The red land of Chiang Mai is not only small and fresh during the day, but also the color of the night is very strong and beautiful.
The whole block is home to many styles of architecture, European style, traditional Southeast Asian style, on the street. From time to time, there will also be four-faced Buddhas that the Thais most believe in. However, the most eye-catching is the colorful cartoon sculptures, which are inspired by the theme of the store. For example, if the restaurant is named after a cat, a huge cat sculpture will appear in front of the store. Along the way, you will also find deer, dinosaurs, etc. Many tourists will take photos with them.
Walking on Ningman Road, you will find a variety of shops, cafes, bars, fashion shops, mostly for designers, artists and performing stars, with a strong sense of design, even if you just walk around and see It is also a very enjoyable thing.

The Songkran Festival in Thailand is also known as the Songkran Festival. The festival is held for three days and is held every year from April 13 to 15 of the Gregorian calendar. The main activities of the festival include good fortune, bathing, body blessing, blessings for each other, worshipping elders, releasing and singing and dancing games
as a Thai New Year, Song Gan Festival has many wonderful sustenances, first of all thanksgiving, thanks and Show those who do good deeds and benefit the society; the second is to be loyal to the ancestors; the third is to remember their responsibilities to their families; to praise Buddhism and monks; and finally to advocate benevolence and generosity.

Come to Chiang Mai, literature and art must visit Ningman Road
did not come to Chiang Mai, has always felt that Ningman Road is a street, came to discover that this is actually an area.
This time we chose the place to live on Ningman Road, the most famous coffee shop. Every lane in the Ningman Road area is filled with small art and fresh. Many snack bar cafes are decorated with a full girl's heart.
If you are a girl who loves to take pictures, you can go shopping for a long time here, and when you are tired, sit in the cafe and rest.
It is recommended to find a twilight time to visit, after all, the big noon is too hot.
Recommended to wear: pink, yellow, red, white - sunglasses must have
Jojos trip.
Kai Yang Cherng Doi (in the alley next to Ningman Road, the meal will need to wait for the meal)
It is said that this roast chicken is delicious and tears, especially from the Qingman Temple, a tug (80 beads) came over. Then I asked all the way, and finally found it under the guidance of a building security guard.
A roast chicken, a roast pork neck, a green papaya, a mushroom tomato soup, and then a roast chicken, it is delicious to roast chicken.
The grilled or fried dish of this store will contain a plant called Lanxiang Basil or decorated or seasoned. The Indians regard it as a sacred vanilla, a gift from the gods to humanity, in Guangdong, China. The Chaoshan area is known as the nine-story tower.
The door is not big, the door is not eye-catching, and many locomotives are often parked at the door, so it is easy to miss, but it is easier to find the opposite store.

I have been to many countries and regions. On the whole, I think the most cost-effective place is Chiang Mai, Thailand. Because the Thai visa is easy to handle, you can walk away. Cheap flights, cheap prices in Thailand, and Chiang Mai compared to Bangkok and Phuket in Thailand, the price is cheaper, the atmosphere is more literary, is my favorite feeling.
Chiang Mai has many fun places, Chiang Mai Old Town, Night Market, Temples, and a very literary bourgeoisie street Ningman Road. There are many net red shops in Ningman Road, which is also the most prosperous place in Chiang Mai. It is very popular among girls. There are authentic packages, delicious desserts, cheap juices and comfortable spas.
The Tan Yi Si Ting Hotel on Ningman Road is in an excellent location with the largest Maya Mall in Chiang Mai on the left, the Ningman No. 1 Mall on the right, and delicious snacks on Ningman Road.
Living on Ningman Road, you can eat, drink, and enjoy life in Chiang Mai. It is really very comfortable.
