Off-season beach trip: You must save this 2-day, 1-night Shenzhen beach guide!
Why go to the beach in the off-season?
Because it's cheap! Food, drinks, entertainment, and accommodation are all cheap.
Also, you won't get sunburned, so you can really enjoy the sunshine.
Finally, there are fewer people, so you can take as many beautiful photos as you want. The whole beach is yours.
This experience is more fun than going in the summer, even if you spend twice as much.
For these three reasons, I think you should take your friends and go.
Here's my 2-day, 1-night guide:
Day 1: Depart from Guangzhou to Guanhu Village, Shenzhen. 2-hour drive. After arriving, find a homestay in Guanhu Village. In the afternoon, have afternoon tea at the homestay and enjoy a relaxing time. In the evening, walk to Guanhu Beach to watch the sunset. Have dinner in Guanhu Village, then return to the homestay to soak in the hot spring. The homestay's private hot spring has aromatherapy and Chinese incense, which is very comfortable. In the evening, the homestay owner even brought us a sweet soup, which was very heartwarming.
Day 2: Wake up naturally, after all, you're on vacation and don't want to be too tired. Have breakfast at the homestay, get a parking ticket, and start your second day of beach fun. The homestay owner is very enthusiastic, and the homestay is new, so all the facilities are new and comfortable. If I have the chance, I will come again.
Summary:
1. Guanhu Beach
Highlights: Super long coastline, the best beach for watching the sunset. Just bring your phone and you can take great photos.
Parking: Free parking if you stay at a homestay.
2. Jiaochangwei
Highlights: Known as "Little Gulangyu", a must-see for hipsters. The sea is very blue and clear, and the sand is very fine. There is also Dapeng Fortress nearby, where you can shop and eat.
Parking: We parked for 2 hours and it only cost 7 yuan, which was surprisingly cheap.
3. Yunhai Angel Bay
Highlights: Feels like watching the sea from the clouds. This is the place with the little train. If you like taking photos, you must come here, because the photos are great. Even wedding photographers choose this place. The sea is also very clear, and there is a romantic western restaurant by the sea, which is a must for couples.
Parking: 40 yuan/hour, little train: 10 yuan/person. If you can take beautiful photos, I think the parking fee is worth it.
As for other places, I have seen many recommendations online. I have also been to some places alone, and they are all very beautiful.
But I personally think these three places are worth spending a little money, having fun, and taking beautiful photos.
You can easily visit them in 2 days and 1 night, without being a "special forces soldier", because these three places are very close to each other.
