#tokyo This shrine located near Ueno called Nezu shrine is one of the oldest in Tokyo, built in 1705. It is famous for its Azalea festival and it usually blooms in middle of April after the Cherry Blossom festival. The different colours of pink, purple and white flowers in different elevation makes the place a very scenic spot to capture nice pictures. There are also miniature torii surrounding the Nezu shrine, very common in Shinto architecture.
