[2025 Taichung Attraction] Travel Guide for Nanhu Mountain (Updated Oct)
Nanhu Mountain Address:
424, Taiwan, Taichung City, Heping District
North Section One: Nanhu Mountain Peaks
The Northern Section of the Nanhu Peaks
This 5-day, 4-night trip not only gave me time to complete the Nanhu Peaks, but also allowed me to experience the majestic majesty of the Imperial Mountain up close. Although the itinerary required early departures and late returns, returning to Quangu already in the evening, each day was filled with trekking through hills and ridges, scrambling scree slopes, weaving through bamboo forests, and constantly stepping over fallen trees. However, on these challenging trails, I often encountered fellow hikers with similar interests. People from all over the world were drawn together by the mountains, and strangers became friends, supporting each other along the way. We all shared a common goal and worked together. The chilly temperatures on the mountain were warmed by the companionship of others. This is perhaps one of the reasons I love mountain climbing. 🤩
After experiencing the majesty of Nanhu Central Peak up close, I gained a deeper appreciation for the beauty of the land I live in. Finally, I have to say, Taiwan is truly beautiful. 🥰
Next time I visit the Shengguang trailhead, my goal will be to climb Central Peak. 😂

Challenging the Nanhu Peaks
It's never easy. It took me five days and four nights to complete the route and view I wanted to take...
A perfect sunrise! I started climbing from the mountain hut before dawn and walked in the dark to witness the stunning sunrise from #NanhuEastPeak. This sunrise, along with the sea of clouds, did not disappoint.
#TaosaiPeak was my main attraction this time. On the way to Taosai Peak, the afterglow of the sunrise became even more beautiful. It was hard to tell whether it was the sea or the clouds.
Arriving at the foot of Taosai Peak, looking up at it, I felt so insignificant.
Completing this section of the Nanhu Peaks was truly arduous...
Enough talk...let's look at the photos 🙄
