Carrying loneliness to Khao Luang
Traveling alone, you will get more than you think
----
Khao Luang, Sukhothai, it is said that whoever can reach the tent site is the end, but whoever can walk around every place is even more the end 555
This trip is a big trip, the first time I have the opportunity to travel alone. Even though I have traveled alone many times, this time I felt a little scared, but that feeling could not stop my desire. I have been wanting to go here for a long time. When I had the chance, I did not hesitate. The distance is 3.7 kilometers, it is a piece of cake (I thought to myself). When I arrived, I did not hesitate. I grabbed my bag and started walking with determination!! But after 15 minutes, oh my, I did not think that the path would be this difficult. The path is very steep, steep to the point of 55°-70°. The total flat path is not even 200 meters, just think about it. The more I walked, the more discouraged I became. I tried to fight every 5 minutes, but gave up every 10 seconds. How could it be like this? I have been walking for 2 hours and still have not reached the first 1,600 meter viewpoint. At that moment, I was really discouraged. I hesitated for a long time whether to continue or stop here. Because I came alone, walked up alone, cramps in my legs in the middle of the forest, I screamed all by myself. It was a time when there were very few tourists, the surroundings seemed empty, very quiet. I heard the sounds of animals and the wind blowing through the leaves. After walking for a while, I sat down to rest, and then I accidentally fell asleep, I really fell asleep. After waking up, I was determined to fight again, and continued walking until I reached the tent site. It was so tiring, with a distance of only 3.7 kilometers. But that's not all!! If we want to walk to every spot, we have to walk another 4 kilometers, but the path is not as steep as the way up.
Whoever goes there must go to all of them.
-Phra Chedi Peak
-Phu Ka Peak
-Phra Mae Ya Peak (sunset viewing point)
-Pha Chom Prong
-Phra Narai Peak (sunrise viewing point)
I guarantee that it is worth the distance walked, plus I gained a lot of new experiences, new friendships, and met people who traveled alone like me. I have to thank all my fellow travelers who helped take care of me. I don't know who is who, but when we met on the mountain, at least I wouldn't feel lonely, haha. Everyone took very good care of me. I had pain in my legs due to cramps. There was a guy who gave me a massage oil to relieve the symptoms. Every time I started to feel pain, everyone would stop and take a break to help me feel better. It was so good that I became a person who likes to travel alone.
