South part the main attraction is the Hallasan, must take the short trekking route to the 1169m hight to see the beautiful view. During my trip to Jeju Island, I made a special visit to the Mysterious Road. This road is truly incredible! When you park your car there, it slowly slides uphill on its own—no one is pushing it, and there’s no visible slope. Standing on the road feels like stepping into an unreal world. The surrounding scenery is stunning, the air is fresh, and it instantly lifts your spirits. Although some say it’s an optical illusion caused by the light and terrain, standing there, you can’t help but feel as if some mysterious force is pulling you. I took lots of photos, and every angle seemed unique, as if I had entered a fantastical scene. This place not only sparks curiosity but also showcases the wonders of nature.

An interesting cafe at the rest stop area at Mysterious road. This cafe is a connected building with 7-11 and restaurant and it also has an open air deck to enjoy the nice weather with a drink. They also have a garden theme on the ground level and the spacious carpark is free parking too.
