Museum of the Castillo de San Jorge - Seville
It is located next to the Isabel II Bridge. It was created on the site of the San Jorge Castle. This medieval fortress was used as the seat of the Spanish Inquisition and a prison. At the beginning of the 20th century, the castle was almost destroyed. A city food market appeared in its place. After some time, it was decided to create a historical museum on this site. It tells the story of the fortress, the Spanish Inquisition, and religious repression. This museum will be of interest to people who want to learn a little more about the history of Seville.

🇪🇸Vibrant Triana District in Seville💙
🇪🇸Splendid Seville🇪🇸
At the Triana district on the Puente de Isabell II and visiting the Museo Del Castillo De San Jorge and the Mercado de Triana.
In the trianera Plaza del Altozano is the “Monument to Flamenco Art”
The work was made by the Sevillian sculptor Jesús Gavira in 1993.
It is an allegorical sculpture that represents a flamenco woman holding a guitar in one hand and resting one foot on an anvil, representing the three aspects of the flamenco world, dancing, singing and guitar playing.
At its feet you can also read the following inscription and dedication that gives its name to the sculpture: “Triana al Arte Flamenco”
Definitely come here to feel a taste of history especially when it comes to Flamenco💙
