Mu Ko Chang National Park
Mu Ko Chang National Park
The largest island on the Gulf of Thailand coast, featuring beautiful diving spots, sandy beaches, and picturesque bays, along with several stunning waterfalls.
Among the 40 islands of Mu Ko Chang National Park, Ko Chang is the largest. It is surrounded by islands such as Ko Wai, Ko Kra, Ko Rang, and Ko Lao Ya, which boast rich coral reefs. The terrain is predominantly mountainous, covered with lush rainforests that foster beautiful streams and waterfalls like Khlong Phlu Waterfall and Than Mayom Waterfall. The western part of the island features beautiful sandy beaches, while the eastern part is home to traditional fishing villages. It is a popular tourist destination.
Mu Ko Chang National Park was declared a national park on December 31, 1982, making it the 45th national park in Thailand.
