In the Tongtian Cave, I passed through a not-so-long pitch-black cave staircase. After exiting the cave, I rested for a moment at the corner, had some food, and then continued walking forward🙇 . There is another slightly steeper staircase from this section, and this path is unique. In addition to being steep, the rocks on both sides are arranged in an orderly manner like a series of stools. . If I had known earlier, I wouldn't have rested and eaten at the exit of Tongtian Cave, because not only is there a place to sit here, but you can also bask in the sun☀️ . At the end of this path, there are two small stone lions displayed above, and this staircase is also enhanced by the presence of these two lions🧐 . After walking up this path, there is a very large temple gate with two even more majestic stone lions in front of it🦁. Their imposing appearance is incomparable to the two below🧐 . The long mane of the stone lions made me even more delighted because it really resembles the lions from the 'Man and Nature' show I loved watching as a child. . So I started my happy time here. Don't be fooled by the photos; it was incredibly difficult to climb up. It's much taller than it looks. Normally, I couldn't climb up at all. I had to slowly move up using the wall behind me. After checking in from the stone lion, I turned my head and looked forward to see the plaque. It turns out this is the Nanyang Princess Temple. I saw the mark of the Princess Tomb on the map earlier; it should be inside this temple🧐 . After checking in at the temple gate, I was ready to go in and take a look. Just two steps in, I saw the statues of the two door gods on the left and right inside the temple, which are the white statues of Qin Shubao and Yuchi Gong. After seeing this, I felt that the TV dramas really beautified them too much.. . After passing the door gods and officially entering the temple to check in, the staff also started to accompany me. As I mentioned before, each temple in Cangyan Mountain has at least one staff member. As soon as tourists enter, they will follow them. The purpose is to prevent you from taking pictures of the statues inside, so I always tell them first that I will only take pictures of the characters outside and not go inside. . The order in which I checked in here was Xianmu Hall, Laomu Hall, Sanhuanggu Hall, Dabeihuanggu Treasure Hall, and above this plaque, there was also a sign for the Ciyu Hall. . After turning right at the turning point, I arrived at Xuanhui Peak. Although the name here sounds like a mountain, it is actually a house building. I don't know if it is open during the peak season. In winter, when there are few people, many buildings are closed and there are many closed buildings with yellow padlocks on them🔒 The scenery in front of Xuanhui Peak is really remarkable. On the left is the mountain rock, on the right is the house building, and in the middle is a very beautiful stone gate. There is a triangle above the stone gate. There seem to be many statues of people in this triangle frame. They look lifelike even from a distance🧐 The most important thing is that I think the reason why it is designed with this triangular top is that it is beautiful on the one hand and forms a perfect intersection with the rock above on the other hand. After passing this stone gate, we started to move forward. On the way, we met a few people coming down the mountain and this towering staircase. When we asked them at first, they said they didn’t go up because they said they couldn’t get to the top of the mountain from here and had to come down and climb the mountain again🙇 At that time, I also thought it was okay not to go, so I just walked straight ahead. But the more I walked, the more I felt something was wrong because I seemed to have seen this place on the map below. There was a saying that Weitai might be here🧐 . So I turned back and decided to go up to have a look. After all, this Zhuo Wei Terrace is very famous. It is said that it is the place where the princess preached, so it was named Zhuo Wei Terrace. As for the dangerous platform, there is no need to say much. Just look at the steep steps and you will know that this is the most dangerous section of Cangyan Mountain. In fact, it is much more dangerous than the photos taken, so few people go up. You can choose to go up or not on this road, because you can still reach the top of the mountain even if you don’t go up, so this may be the reason why most people don’t go up. But I decided it was worth going up because I like adventure and I also want to see what the top of this so-called tens of meters high dangerous platform looks like. With this question in mind, I climbed up the steps. When I got to the top, I really saw a dangerous platform. This huge rock looked very dangerous from below, not to mention that I had to climb up later. 🧐 At this moment, I remembered the words "Jue𪩘 Huilan" written on the round gate when I came here. Isn't that referring to this place? The guardrails built around the dangerous platform also guarantee the safety of tourists to a great extent. They also provide a safety guarantee while climbing the dangerous area👍 For those who like the experience of mountain climbing, this is a place you can’t miss🧐 After looking around the rocks of Fawei Terrace, I finally found a stairway on one side that could lead me up🧐 . I slowly climbed up the steps to the top of this big rock. The scenery above was endless and gave me a lot of shock. As the saying goes, you can see far from a height. On the highest point of this Shuowei Terrace, I can see the distant mountains on the opposite side. There is also a stone tablet of Cangyan Mountain on the dangerous platform🧐 and the beautiful mountain peaks in front of you are dazzling😎 There are also some prayer strips outside the guardrails. These are the beautiful landscapes on the Fawei Terrace of Cangyan Mountain. I checked in at every angle on the Fawei Terrace. Not missing any scenery was my happiest moment😁

After coming up from the cliff road, I arrived above the Bridge Tower Hall and started my check-in mode here. . The building of Qiaolou Hall is still very shocking. And the angle is in the middle of the cliffs on both sides, which is remarkable. There is also a stone next to the sign of Qiaolou Hall where you can stand on it. However, the two photos are not very ideal. The people are on both sides and the middle is not captured. 😐 . Moreover, this Qiaolou Temple is also the official choice route for climbing Cangyan Mountain. There are two climbing routes to choose from (but the roads are also under construction 😓) . At that time, I chose to turn sideways because when I looked at the map below, I saw that turning left at the fork in the road was the way to the top of Nantianmen, and turning right was a lot of scenic spots. I thought I would reach the top first and then visit these scenic spots when I came down. . But when I was almost halfway there, I asked the staff and found out that I was not walking towards Nantianmen, but the route with more scenic spots. Then I understood that the left turn on the map was actually a right turn, and the right side on the map was actually the left side, just like looking in a mirror. It seems that I should look at the map less in the future and just go wherever I go. 😓 . On the road where I turned left, I got in close contact with the rock and checked in. I just felt that this place was very beautiful. There were also fonts carved on the rock. However, I couldn’t recognize the four words here no matter how hard I tried. It’s simply impossible to translate. What kind of font is this? 😓 . Go up along this road and you will reach the Jue𪩘 Huilan. This Jue𪩘 Huilan is a very admirable place. However, the scenery is on the top and the place we are at now is just a sign with Jue𪩘 Huilan engraved on it. If we want to see this scenery, we have to continue exploring forward😁 . When I entered the gate of the courtyard, it was like entering a maze. I kept turning left and right, and all kinds of buildings began to appear in front of me. . The first thing I saw when I came in was this dressing building. Of course, I didn’t know where this place was at first because I couldn’t understand the words on it. Not only I couldn’t understand it, I believe everyone couldn’t understand this font either😓 . Fortunately, the name of this place is on the sign at the bottom left of this dressing building. I only knew it was called the dressing building after seeing this sign. This kind of sign is really great. It not only shows the font style above, but also allows tourists to identify the name of the building here through the sign below. It can be said to kill two birds with one stone🧐 . After turning right from the dressing building, I came to the Xieshan Stone House. This round door made of red bricks gave me a good impression. The door is also red. The surrounding walls also have an ancient feel. It is a very good paradise. The only regret is that this door cannot be entered, so I can only look at it from the outside. 🙇 . Next, keep walking forward from this Xieshan Stone House and then turn around and you will come to the house of Dayi Cantian. There are two red lanterns hanging outside the house, which is very beautiful. If you keep walking forward through Dayi Cantian, you will get closer and closer to the exit. There are two landscapes here that are worth mentioning. One is a small Buddha statue in the small red house in front (that is, the small red house under the mountain in front 🧐). It is a very special small golden Buddha statue. It’s just that I didn’t take a picture of it due to the angle 😓 . The stone tablet next to it is engraved with the words "Twists and turns in heaven and earth", which gives people a fairy-like feeling. . But I think compared to these two little things, the mountain above is more eye-catching because there are honeycomb-like caves like those in Danxia Mountain and Longhu Mountain.

#2024wish Going to China last October was my trip of a lifetime for three reasons: *-* my homestay teacher for the Chinese language course became my older sister, who also taught me guqin, Baduanjin, took me to the dentist and hairdresser, and is still my teacher via WeChat lessons; *-* for the first time I could visit the land of my ancestors after learning Chinese for three years at uni, and I did it alone, without any tours; *-* I bought a beautiful violin from a Luthier in Suzhou, and got it back to Australia safely in a violin case I remodelled to fit in the airplane cabin rack!
