Let's go and see the winter snow scenery of Taishan! Just do it now. It's really unforgettable to see such beautiful scenery in this life. Friends who are moved, act quickly. Note that the temperature on the top of the mountain is lower, so take good care of keeping warm and anti-skid measures.
Taishan, also known as Daisan, Daizong, Daiyue, Dongyue, Taiyue, is one of the Five Mountains, known as the 'first of the Five Mountains' and 'the first mountain in the world'. It is located in the central part of Shandong Province, under the jurisdiction of Taian City, stretching between Taian, Jinan, and Zibo, with a total area of 25,000 hectares and the main peak Yuhuangding at an altitude of 1532.7 meters.
In 1982, Taishan was listed as the first batch of national scenic spots. In 1987, Taishan was approved by UNESCO as China's first World Cultural and Natural Heritage. In 2002, Taishan was rated as the 'first of the top ten cultural mountains in China'. In 2005, Taishan became a national geological park. In 2006, Taishan, with its unique geological value, became a World Geological Park. In March 2007, Taishan was rated as a national AAAAA tourist attraction; in December, Taishan was named the first 'Chinese Calligraphy Famous Mountain' in China.
Taishan, which has accompanied the history of Chinese civilization for five thousand years, embodies the symbol of national prosperity and national survival, carries rich geographical historical and cultural connotations, was regarded by the ancients as a 'direct access to the imperial seat' heaven, became the sacred mountain of the people's worship, the emperor's sacrifice, and there is a saying that 'when Taishan is safe, all seas are safe'.

Mount Tai / Taishan Steps and steps
We climbed Taishan in January the temperature was cold especially at the top of the mountain. We climbed the route from the Red gate/ Hongmen gate this took us around 2:45hrs to reach the top with some small breaks along the way. Once at the top there is load of great view points and options for food. There is around 7000 steps up to the top but then we got the cable car and the bus back down.#newyearadventure #mountainview

Besides historic relics, this mountain boasts unique natural scenery too. The lofty peaks, deep valleys, spectacular waterfalls, enchanting rocks and the centuries-old pines and cypresses will undoubtedly encourage you linger with no thought of leaving. The four wonders here are Sunrises from the East, the Sunset Glow, the Sea of Clouds and the Golden Belt along the Yellow River. It would be a great pity to miss the four wonders. We went there on New Year evening to see sunrise. It got very cold on the top so wear accordingly. #passionpassport #beautifuldestinations #travelinspiration #traveladdict

If you’re up for hiking, be sure to visit #taishan (aka Mount Tai) in #shandong province. Located roughly halfway between Beijing and Shanghai on the high speed train, a climb to the peak of Taishan makes for the perfect day trip. Once you make it to the top, there are tons of restaurants and shops to rest at. If you don’t feel like walking all the way back down to the bottom, there’s a cable car to take you there. But heads up: it will close if the weather is bad. We learned that the hard way - and climbing down the mountain in the pouring rain was an experience to say the least!

Taishan is the first of the "Five Sacred Mountains" in China. It has the reputation of "the first mountain in the world", also known as Dongyue. It is one of the most beautiful and shocking top ten famous mountains in China.
Since ancient times, the Chinese have worshipped Mount Tai, and there is a saying that "Tai Shan An, all the seas are safe." Since the Qin Shihuang Emperor Fengshan Taishan, the emperors of the dynasties have been chanting and offering sacrifices in Mount Tai, and built temples on the Mount Tai.
Taishan is located in the central part of Tai'an City, Shandong Province, China. The main peak of Jade Emperor Peak is 1,545 meters above sea level. It is magnificent and majestic, and enjoys the title of the first of the Five Sacred Mountains and the first mountain in the world. Taishan is the world's first world heritage of nature and culture, a national 5A level scenic spot.
Taishan scenery is famous for its magnificentness. Overlapping mountainous terrain, heavy body shape, the setting of the pine boulder, the change of cloud smoke makes it both beautiful and magnificent in the majestic. The most famous is the "four wonders of Mount Tai".
The four seasons of the mountain are distinct. The top three seasons are like spring, winter is like jade, that is, winter is foggy and crystal clear as jade, which is one of the important landscapes. The sand is large in spring. Taishan has a long winter, with an icing period of 150 days and a minimum temperature of -27.5 °C at the top, forming a smog and rain wonder. During the summer and autumn, the clouds and rains change, the peaks are like mountains, and Lin Maoquan flies.

Being able to be selected for the World Natural Heritage or World Cultural Heritage is not easy. In addition to the hardware conditions that must be possessed by the heritage site, the road to the application is extremely long. Xiamen Gulangyu, which has just been included in the World Cultural Heritage, has started its application for the World Heritage since 2008 and it took almost 10 years. China has been applying for World Heritage projects since 1986.
The first batch of World Heritage projects in China was announced in 1987. The six world heritages include the best cultural heritages such as the Great Wall, the Forbidden City and the Mausoleum of the First Qin Emperor. Taishan is the only natural and cultural double. Heritage, and this is also the world's first dual heritage of culture and nature.
Taishan is not only beautiful, but has been attached to many political attributes since ancient times. It has been honored as the head of the Five Sacred Mountains, the first mountain in the world, etc. The emperors of the past have attached great importance to Mount Tai. Since Qin Shihuang, 13 emperors have boarded the Taishan Fengzen Festival. Among them, Emperor Wu of the Han Dynasty visited Taishan 10 times and sealed the Zen 6 times.
When climbing, there are many stalls where you can buy snacks and snacks. Pancake rolls are representative of local specialties, both on the mountain and under the mountain. If you want to save effort, you can take the car from the foot of the mountain to Zhongtianmen, then take the cable car to Nantianmen, which is the top of the mountain.
Walking for hiking is more fun. There are countless stone carvings on the mountain along the way. It is one of the most precious treasures of Mount Tai.

Mount Tai in Shandong | A mountain that is definitely worth climbing
Purchase tickets in advance on Ctrip
What to wear when climbing Mount Tai? What should you bring? Short sleeves, shorts (depending on the weather, it's very hot at the foot of the mountain, according to what the geography teacher said, 'the temperature drops by 0.6°C for every 100 meters of altitude increase' it's a bit cold at the summit, you can wear long pants if needed, bring a thin jacket to wear at the summit), soft-soled shoes, ID card, sunglasses, earphones, power bank, bread x2, Yibao water x2, toilet paper, 5 yuan banknotes
Get off at the train station, you can take the tourist bus route 5 to Hongmen or Tianwaicun (but the bus schedule is the same as the train's, the train is delayed by 4 hours, I arrived at Taishan Station at 10 o'clock, the next one is at 11 o'clock), or go to the bus stop across the street to take the K11 or K2 bus, I bought
Tickets for 6 am-12 pm, I waited a few minutes for the bus and it didn't come, so I took a taxi to Hongmen
Go straight to the visitor center, follow the signs, it took about 17 minutes to get to the ticket checkpoint (there was an announcement outside saying that after 12 o'clock they wouldn't let you check tickets, I don't know if it's true or not, I left the visitor center at 11:10, scared me to hurry to the ticket checkpoint)
Take occasional photos in front, all the good scenery is in the back. It took 1 hour and 30 minutes to reach Zhongtianmen, where you can choose whether to take the cable car or not. From Zhongtianmen up is the Eighteen Bends, quite steep, very hard to climb, I saw many people who didn't have the physical strength to climb a section of stairs, stopping halfway to rest, causing 'traffic jams'. It took 1 hour and 30 minutes from Zhongtianmen to Nantianmen, all uphill and quite strenuous.
Once you reach Nantianmen, you're almost at the top. Go find various scenic spots to check in. Wandered around the mountain for an hour and a half (there were too many people taking photos at the Wuyue is the Most Revered Stone, couldn't squeeze in, so I simply went down the mountain)
Return the same way, from Nantianmen down to Zhongtianmen, it took 1 hour and 20 minutes.
I stored my luggage at a small shop next to the train station.
The visitor center at Mount Tai and the small shops at the foot of the mountain also have storage, but I don't know the specifics. It's recommended to buy a walking stick, it's better for leveraging.
The supplies on Mount Tai are similar to those at the foot of the mountain, water is 2 yuan a bottle, grilled sausages
10 yuan for 3, there are also noodles, pancakes, etc., no need to worry about food. In summary, the trip to Mount Tai was very satisfying, despite being tiring, it was worth it!

Watching the sunrise on Mount Tai
10.5 Morning on Mount Tai! Witnessed the sunrise! Saw the golden rays shining on the mountain!
Stars filled the sky at 2:20 in the early morning
Waited until the sunrise at 6:09 on the 5th morning🌄
Conquered the great Mount Tai 👌
Slept briefly at the south gate late at night, became fully awake after 2 am, and decided to continue walking east following the compass. Couldn't squeeze into Zhanlu Platform, so I waited for the sunrise at the stand next to Zhanlu Platform! I could see it! And it was perfect!!

Youth has no price tag, and even the small Mount Tai is conquered
✈️ Mount Tai Travel Guide:
- If flying, first arrive at Jinan or Jining airport, where there are direct buses to Tai'an, super powerful!
- Take the train directly to "Taishan Station", then hop on the No. 37 bus, and sprint towards the Red Gate~
🌄 For the mountain climbing trip, don't forget these:
- Prepare your tickets, 115 yuan for adults, 57 yuan for students, don't forget your student ID and ID card.
- Climb as many times as you want within three days, it's all up to you!
- Want to see the sunrise? Around 5 am you can see the sunrise, set your alarm, start the night climb at 11 pm!
- Riguan Peak, Jade Emperor Summit, there are plenty of good spots. But the view from Riguan Peak is unbeatable👍, make the most of your time, you need to get there early to secure a spot!
🔥 Essential strategies, remember them well:
1. Recommended route for first-timers: Dai Temple - Daizong Archway - Wanshian Pavilion (this is where you buy tickets)
2. When you reach Zhongtian Gate, you can take a deep breath, if your physical strength doesn't allow, take the cable car to the top from here!
3. For descending, take the cable car from South Heaven Gate to Zhongtian Gate, then take the bus down the mountain, just follow the crowd.
🏞️Other attractions
1️⃣ Dai Temple: You must visit Dai Temple, it's an architectural complex with a thousand years of character, and the Taishan Stone Dare is waiting for you~
2️⃣ Tai'an Old Street: Stroll around the old street, enjoy delicious food and beautiful scenery along the way. Tired? Watch a shadow play, visit the Aegean Sea, or sit in a trendy bar.
📌 Attention! Attention!
1️⃣ The weather forecast is very important, climb Mount Tai on a clear night, to avoid being confused by the fog.
2️⃣ For those starting from the Red Gate, it's best to start at 10 or 11 am, it takes 5-6 hours to reach the top. Starting from Zhongtian Gate can save time.
3️⃣ Light food is the way to go, Snickers, sausages, just bring one or two bottles of water, the prices will be higher halfway up the mountain.
4️⃣ Bring a flashlight for night climbing, around 5-10 yuan, don't let it be pitch black under your feet. Plus, it's crowded and visibility is poor.
5️⃣ Definitely bring a light down jacket, the temperature difference between the top and bottom of the mountain is about 10 degrees, the wind is strong at night and you can easily catch a cold from sweating.
6️⃣ You must take photos at Zhongtian Gate, to tell the world you've already walked half the way!
7️⃣ Tubaipan is a challenge! For those who are afraid of heights, don't be stubborn, spend less time there.
8️⃣ There are many water sellers on the mountain, and there's also Mixue Bingcheng, cheaper than bottled water~
Take your notebook and record it well~ The journey to Mount Tai, we're off! 🚀✨🎒

To all the treasures who climb Mount Tai at night, it's all about the essentials
👣Youth has no price tag, Mount Tai is right under your feet🧗♀️, this sentence made me come directly to Mount Tai.
💪You must climb Mount Tai once to see for yourself the 'view all the small mountains at a glance from the top' that you only learned about in books📖.
Mount Tai, a total walking distance🚶♂️ of 14.35 kilometers, with over seven thousand steps, takes an average of 4-6 hours to reach the summit.
🎫Mount Tai ticket:
It is recommended to purchase directly online.
👨Adult ticket: 115💰 🧑🎓Student ticket half price💰
🚌Mount Tai transportation:
I went with a group😎, which took us directly to the foot of the mountain👣. It is recommended that if you have the conditions, you can choose to go with a group🚌, which is more convenient.
1⃣️Private car🚗: Come with a few friends👯, navigate to the Hongmen entrance🧭 and you're good to go🉑️
2⃣️Train🚞: Take the train to Taishan Station: take bus 3 or 11 directly from the train station to Hongmen🚏
3⃣️High-speed train🚄: Tai'an high-speed train station, there is a direct tourist bus to the mountain entrance🚌
⚠️Mount Tai has four entrances: Hongmen, Tianwai Village, Peach Blossom Valley, and Dongyudao👀, but only two are available for night climbing.
1⃣️Tianwai Village (which can save half the distance)🛣 You can take a bus🚌 directly to Zhongtianmen (if you climb this section, it takes 2-3 hours👣, but by bus, it's only half an hour🚌) with a ticket price of 35 yuan🎫. After reaching Zhongtianmen, you're already halfway through the journey🎯, then climb to the summit (about 3 hours)🧗♂️. However🚨: Tianwai Village closes at 9 pm🤦, which means if you choose this route, you must arrive before nine o'clock⏰. It is recommended that if you are not physically unfit🙅, do not choose this route.
2⃣️Hongmen 👍Personally recommended⭐️, choose this entrance for night climbing.
This route is also the most chosen one for night climbing❗If you choose to start from Hongmen, it is recommended to arrive at the mountain base between 10 and 11 pm👀, leave time for taking photos📷, start climbing at 11 pm🉑️, and with breaks, the slowest time to reach the summit is 5-6 hours, then you can wait for the sunrise🌅.
⚠️Regarding the question many people ask about whether to rent a coat🧥 on the mountain:
1⃣️It varies from person to person, some people are more resistant to cold and may not need it 👔, while others who are afraid of the cold might need it🧣.
2⃣️Weather factors, feel cold or not after reaching the summit🧊.
I climbed twice🧗♀️, once last autumn and winter, it was really cold at the summit ❄, so I rented a coat🧥; this spring, it wasn't very cold at the summit 🌤, I could bear it, so I didn't rent.
As for the price, it's not necessarily cheaper at the base of the mountain😅, nor necessarily more expensive at the top🤨. I think there's no need to buy from the base and carry it all the way to the summit🤔, if you really need it, just rent it directly at the summit🤗.
⚠️Finally👏: The above is all personal experience after climbing the mountain 👣, not representative of everyone😜.

In Tai'an's embrace, where mountains rise tall,
Blooms dance in hues, enchanting all.
Cherry blossoms whisper tales untold,
Azaleas blush, their beauty bold.
Beneath the shadow of Tai Shan's might,
Redbuds and peonies, a glorious sight.
Peach blossoms sway, in gentle breeze,
A feast for the eyes, as far as one sees.
In Hongmen Park, where serenity reigns,
Nature's canvas, where beauty sustains.
Savoring each petal, each color divine,
A symphony of blooms, an ode to time.
With grateful hearts, we pause to see,
The wonders of spring, in full esprit.
Katcha Dora's song, amid petals' gleam,
A treasure trove of blooms, in this dreamy scene.

The photos will expire if not posted, thus I easily conquered Mount Tai
The photos will expire if not posted, thus I easily conquered Mount Tai.|||Mount Tai, being the foremost of the Five Great Mountains, holds a place in every Chinese person's heart. Climbing it used to feel like a challenge to be undertaken before 30, and something not to be dared after 30. Before bringing my child this time, I looked at the routes and discovered that there is now a cable car that goes directly to the South Heaven Gate (which is basically the summit), which is fantastic! At least for my child and me, it means we can easily reach the top of Mount Tai!
We only stayed in Tai'an for two nights, and upon arrival, we hadn't decided whether to climb Mount Tai. It felt like not going might be a lifelong regret. It was only after the child fell asleep at midnight that I researched whether we could still easily reach the summit the next day. I found out that the main cable car was under maintenance this month. Just when I was about to give up, I discovered that there were two cable cars to choose from. I immediately looked for a one-day tour on a certain platform to see if we could still go up when it got light. If not tomorrow, then the day after! After asking several agencies, only one replied in the middle of the night that it was still possible, so I immediately joined the group. Without worrying about the service, as long as we could reach the summit, I didn't bother to look further due to the time constraint.
The next morning, we gathered at the mountain gate and took a shuttle bus directly to Taohuawu. The bus traveled on the winding mountain road for about 45 minutes, then we boarded the cable car. The cable car ride took about 10 minutes to reach Tianjie.
Following the group towards the South Heaven Gate, upon arrival and looking down from the South Heaven Gate... Well, I'm glad we chose the cable car, otherwise we definitely would have missed out.
From Tianjie, climbing further to the summit, the whole loop is about 6000 steps. Although it requires a bit of climbing, it was already quite easy (compared to climbing from the base of the mountain).
Conquering Mount Tai is no longer difficult. If I have the chance to come again, I must arrange to stay overnight at the summit to watch the sunrise!

Do you think this is the Northeast? No! This is Mount Tai!
Always thought that only the Northeast could 'produce' such beautiful icefalls, but in fact, Mount Tai can also be on the list! Layer upon layer, well-arranged, there is a kind of 'water to the extreme is a waterfall' grandeur! When the world is full of top 'ice stumps', why not come to see Mount Tai?

Just came down from Mount Tai and visited Dai Temple|||I really love Tai'an!
|||I really love Tai'an!.
People in Tai'an are also very welcoming ahhhhhh
Very warm and down-to-earth
🚗Ride-hailing services here are very cheap
I took them for two days and never spent more than 12 yuan!
🍱If you like food, there's an underground food court right below Tai'an Station
You can go and take a look
There's a lot of food and it's all inexpensive
🚞I arrived at Tai'an Station by train
Then I started to climb at night
After coming down the mountain the next day, I visited Dai Temple!
You must visit Dai Temple!!!
And I bought a lot of trinkets
Like the Tai Mountain stones, I bought a whole bag!
All for less than a hundred yuan!
They are the big Tai Mountain stones, not the small ones
I bought them from a small shop right across the South Gate (see pictures 12, 13)
The owner is an auntie! She's very nice
She will pack everything you buy into little boxes, one by one
🌮
And the food!
Food in Tai'an is delicious, inexpensive, and comes in large portions!! (Except in the scenic area)
It's just too hot, with temperatures from 33 to 37 degrees during the day
If you plan to climb Mount Tai, I suggest doing it in the evening or at night
Otherwise, it's really too hot!

What a delightful surprise to wake up to this morning! Just yesterday, the community seemed to be cloaked in a veil of dullness and dreariness. However, today, my senses were greeted by the sight of delicate magnolia buds starting to unfurl.

It's amazing how nature can transform our surroundings in an instant, filling us with hope and anticipation for the beauty that lies ahead. A Glimpse of Future Blossoms 🌸
#cherryblossom2024
Embarking on a journey to a northeastern park of Tai'an City, my heart brimmed with anticipation to witness the ethereal beauty of sakura blossoms at the foot of the glorious Mount Tai. Arriving, I discovered the trees still held tightly onto their secrets, yet there was an enchanting promise in the form of delicate buds.
Despite not witnessing the full bloom, the sight filled me with hope and excitement for what was to come. Walking through the park, surrounded by the tranquility of nature, I felt a connection to the future blossoms and the anticipation of their radiant splendor. The park’s branches hold the promise of a breathtaking sakura spectacle awaiting its time to enchant visitors.

Flowery Whispers of Spring
#cherryblossom2024
Magnolias and sakuras intertwine,
Their petals whisper secrets divine.
In spring's embrace, they bloom as one,
A symphony of white and pink, begun.
Beneath the azure sky, they sway,
Two lovers dancing through the day.
Magnolias blush, sakuras sigh,
Nature's love story, etched on the sky.
Yet in their union, there's a regal song,
A melody that's been here all along.
Whispers of hope in every fleeting bloom,
Promises of spring's eternal resume.
As the seasons turn and years unfold,
Their beauty remains, a sight to behold.
In the flowery whispers of spring's embrace,
We find solace, in nature's grace.

The Meiyuan on the Huan Shan Road in Tai'an is a great place to enjoy flowers in spring
As winter leaves and spring arrives, all things revive, welcoming a sea of flowers. Located in the middle section of Huan Shan Road, the Meiyuan is built on the original terraces along the hillside, planting dozens of varieties of plum blossoms, which, together with the co-planted cherry blossoms, crape myrtles, forsythias, orchid grass, pomegranates, and other plants, form a complex ecological community. It is a small and beautiful, exquisite and elegant garden themed with 'plum blossoms' and is also a flower-viewing beauty spot that is easily overlooked by tourists.
Meiyuan is located between the two mountain entrances of Hongmen and Tianwai Village, and can be reached by bus routes 14, 19, 37, 49, and 39, with the flower sea right off the bus stop.
The entrance is right next to Huan Shan Road, with an irregular small square built with stone slabs on the ground. A Tai Shan stone stands tall inside, inscribed with the character 'Mei', and a large plum tree stands beside it. Ascending the steps, one can see the winding paths flanked by terraced fields filled with pink, red, and white plum blossoms and yellow forsythias complementing each other. Climbing roses grow on the stone walls of the terraces, which will present another scene when they bloom in May.

You must climb Mount Tai at least once
1. Reaching the summit of Mount Tai is really effortless, I suggest everyone to go for it decisively! 2. When the weather is cold, pay great attention to clothing combinations, because it gets very hot while climbing, but once you stop, the cold wind is piercing, and it's easy to catch a cold. 3. Mount Tai may close due to weather conditions, and the official WeChat account 'Mount Tai Scenic Area' has real-time information announcements.
4. It's a very well-developed scenic area, with supply points along the way, and the costs are not high.
5. You can drive there yourself, there is a parking lot at the Hongmen Tourist Center, and after descending the mountain by bus, there are many taxis to the parking lot, costing ¥20.
6. Oh right, bringing a bottle of hot water when climbing the mountain in winter is really important! Once you stop during the climb, it gets extremely cold, and a sip of hot water is literally a lifesaver.

⛰️ The Four Wonders of Mount Tai
☁️ Sea of Clouds and Jade Plate, one of the four wonders of Mount Tai, often appears in summer and autumn. When the spectacle of the Sea of Clouds and Jade Plate occurs, the surrounding mountains are either engulfed in mist or a few peaks emerge from the clouds.
🌞 Sunset Glow, one of the four wonders of Mount Tai. After the rain clears and the sky is high and the air is fresh, as the sun sets in the west, if you stroll at the very top of Mount Tai and look up to the western sky: clusters of lingering clouds resemble peaks and ridges, and streaks of golden light pierce through the clouds and fog, pouring down to earth.
🌅 Sunrise, one of the four wonders of Mount Tai. With the first ray of dawn breaking through the darkness before dawn, the eastern sky gradually changes from pitch black to pale white, to red, and finally to dazzling gold, emitting thousands of rays of rosy light. At last, a fiery ball leaps out of the water and soars into the sky, the whole process like a highly skilled magician conjuring up thousands of colorful scenes in an instant, leaving one in awe.
🏞️ Yellow River Golden Belt, one of the four wonders of Mount Tai. When the sky clears after rain and the sun sets in the west, looking far into the distance from the northwest side of Mount Tai, at the end of the layers of peaks, you can also see the Yellow River shining like a golden ribbon; or the river reflecting into the sky, creating a mirage, both known as the 'Yellow River Golden Belt

The flying snow sprinkles on the reeds like silver arrows, don't say the flock of geese falls
On the 20th, I went to Aolai Peak, Kiln Side, and Goose Flock Gully.
Sword peak angrily pierces the sky, accumulated iron pulls up a thousand ren; overlooking the ghost valley is secluded, next to the stalwart of the giant. Aolai Peak is sharp and layered, where the Red Eyebrow Army once stationed. The pines and cypresses stand tall by the kiln side, and the hundred-year-old ginkgo tree next to the sheepfold is tall and straight.
The gullies are crisscrossed, the streams are flowing, and the mountain roads are winding. Perhaps some people think that Goose Flock Gully was once inhabited by flocks of wild geese, but they don't know that Mount Tai is not an ideal living environment for wild geese, just because this gully is named Goose Flock Gully like a flying flock of geese.
It's snowing quietly again, deep in the forest, a stray black goat is giving birth, and the affection of licking the calf is touching.

It's not that I can't afford to go to Erbin, but it's more cost-effective to travel nearby
As long as the snow is thick enough, the snow everywhere is the same. The icy and snowy conditions bring many inconveniences to travel safety, and traveling nearby is a good plan. It can both alleviate the reception pressure of hot cities and reduce your own travel expenses.
The climate difference between the north and the south is too large, and people in the south must bring warm clothes, cold medicine, and cold protection equipment when they travel to the north in the cold winter. My opinion is for reference only, don't spray if you don't like it

Mount Tai Summit Scenic Area
The area surrounding the top of Mount Tai above the South Heavenly Gate is known as the Summit Scenic Area, covering an area of about 1.6 square kilometers.
The South Heavenly Gate, also known as the Three Heavenly Gates, is located at the end of the Eighteen Bends, at an altitude of 1460 meters. It is the top of the mountain climbing path, located at the mountain pass between Flying Dragon Rock and Soaring Phoenix Ridge. Looking up from below, it looks like a palace in the sky, and is the gateway to the top of Mount Tai. The South Heavenly Gate is the main entrance to the Heavenly Court, leading directly to the Lingxiao Palace of the Jade Emperor. The South Heavenly Gate is the entrance to the human and immortal realms.
The Summit Scenic Area concentrates the essence of Mount Tai's natural scenery and historical sites, and is the climax of the tour of Mount Tai.
The main attractions include the South Heavenly Gate, Tianjie Square, Tianjie, Riguan Peak, Tanhai Stone, Daguan Peak Inscription Wall, Zhangren Peak, Bixia Temple, etc.
After passing through the South Heavenly Gate, you will arrive at the "Tianjie" on the top of Mount Tai, the commercial street of the Heavenly Court, where mountain climbers can eat and shop. More than 400 meters east along Tianjie is the Taoist temple "Bixia Temple", which worships the Goddess of Mount Tai. Out of the "Bixia Temple" East God Gate, not far to the north is the so-called "Daguan Peak", also known as "Migao Rock". Here there are peaks and cliffs like cut, and there are a large number of stone carvings on the cliffs, among which is the Tang Xuanzong's Imperial Inscription on Mount Tai, commonly known as the Tang Cliff Stele. Continue north to reach the top of Mount Tai, "Jade Emperor Temple". Enter the Jade Emperor Temple, you will arrive at the top of Mount Tai, in a circle of stone fences is the "Summit Stone" of Mount Tai, and a stone stele is erected north of the Summit Stone, which is engraved with the top of Mount Tai 1545 meters.
