Mount Rainier National Park
Looking for a great view in Washington? I would highly recommend Mount Rainier National Park.
Setting the backdrop for the bustling city below, Mount Rainier sits imposingly on the horizon. It calls to all those seeking the challenge of the climb, the solitude of the woods, the escape from streets and roads. One of the most visited national parks, Mount Rainier is the most prominent peak in the Cascade Range.

Late autumn in Seattle.
For those planning to visit Seattle in fall or winter, read on!
Autumn in Seattle is like an unfinished poem, with nature's gentle brushstrokes painting mesmerizing scenes across the city. As the first autumn breeze blows, it brings a hint of coolness, sweeping away the summer's hustle and bustle, and ushering in tranquility and harmony. At this time, Seattle seems to be under a spell, transforming from a bustling city to a calm one, from fiery to gentle.
Tips
The temperature difference between day and night in Seattle is large, so it's recommended to wear more clothes and carry an umbrella with you.
Even if you don't have a car, Seattle is still friendly. You can choose to take the light rail, bus (it's recommended to prepare cash or buy a bus card), or tram, which is very convenient for traveling to and from tourist attractions.
✅Must-visit places:
1️⃣Mount Rainier National Park
In autumn, Mount Rainier not only has fiery maple leaves but also a magnificent combination of snow-capped mountains and lakes. From the highlands in the Paradise area, you can see the maple forests at the foot of the mountain, like flames surrounding the snow-capped peaks, with distinct layers and spectacular scenery. At sunset, the setting sun dyes the maple leaves golden, forming a sharp contrast with the cool tones of the snow-capped mountains, making for stunning photos.
2️⃣Snoqualmie Falls
In autumn, the waterfall looks like a magnificent oil painting, with water rushing down from a height, bringing the coolness of the autumn breeze. The surrounding maple trees become colorful, with red, yellow, and orange interwoven, like a natural frame for the waterfall. It's a great place for a day trip to see the maple leaves! The best photo spot is at the viewing platform, where you can clearly see the mist from the waterfall, echoing the colorful maple forests around. When the sun shines on the mist, you might even see a rainbow.
3️⃣Washington Park Arboretum
You don't have to leave the city to experience the strong autumn atmosphere! This hidden gem park in the city has a rich variety of maple leaves, from golden to fiery red, with rich layers, making it perfect for a family autumn outing. Walking on the leaf-covered paths feels like being in an autumn fairy tale.

❤️Autumn in Seattle is not just a visual feast but also a solace for the soul. In this season, everyone can find their own peace and beauty. Whether walking in the bustling city, strolling by the tranquil lakeside, or enjoying a cup of rich coffee on your balcony, you can feel the unique gift this city gives us—the taste that belongs only to autumn.

Seattle, USA.
5 days and 4 nights in Seattle
Seattle is said to be one of the top three cities in the US for homeless people.
1️⃣ Seattle is beautiful in early November. The city is full of red and yellow leaves and autumn rain.
You don't even need to wear a raincoat or use an umbrella. It's wet, but not greasy. It's a comfort zone for people with dry skin and rhinitis.
2️⃣ It's fine to stay in Downtown. Locals say it's safer to stay in the east, but for tourists, staying in DT is the most convenient, with many hotels, Pike Place Market, and the Art Museum all within walking distance.
If you're going to Olympic or Rainier, the subway is also at the DT Public Library. I chose LXR, which was a great experience, with a $50 restaurant credit every day.
3️⃣ Try to travel together at night or take an Uber, but try not to go out after dark.
4️⃣ Line 1 from the airport to downtown is safe. After customs, follow the signs and it's easy to find Line 1.
The carriages are clean and new, and there are security guards from time to time, so it's quite safe. A one-way ticket costs $3. If you take a taxi to downtown, it costs $70 or $80.
5️⃣ If you only go to one place in Seattle, I recommend Rainier!
Before I left, I was told the mountain was closed, but when I got to the entrance, it was open.
Then I experienced the most beautiful snow scene of my life, with only the sound of snow falling in the world, which was very healing.
The key is that it's not cold. Just a jacket and cashmere, and it gets warmer. I heard that Rainier is also beautiful in summer, so I want to come back.
6️⃣ There's no line at the world's first Starbucks in the morning. I love jet lag, suddenly becoming an early bird, waking up at 6 am every day, and arriving at Starbucks at 7:30 am with no line. In the afternoon, or on weekdays, there is a line.
7️⃣ The spiciness of Rongcheng hot pot is not the same as Sichuan and Chongqing, and the mild spicy is basically not spicy.
I tried Alaskan crab legs or seafood, which were good. There's a restaurant called Yard House that's delicious.
Fortunately, I didn't encounter any homeless people or zombies these days, probably because I spent two days at remote attractions like Olympic and Rainier, took a taxi downtown, and tried not to go out at night.
I met a few friends to chat with, including HRs who work here, travel to the US, and talk about everything from travel and family to stocks.
But strangely, my appetite suddenly decreased after getting off the plane, and I felt very thin in the US these days.

The filming location of GTA5, natural and magnificent.
Family, Mount Rainier National Park is really amazing, the natural scenery is breathtaking! This is not a scenic spot, it is clearly a paradise in the fairy drama!
It is covered with snow all year round, so it is called the backbone of the United States. From the foot of the mountain to the top of the mountain, there are temperate rain forests, subalpine meadows, tundra and glacier landforms, with a rare complete vertical ecology in the world.
We drove around the entire park this time, about 100 kilometers in total. Starting from the southernmost entrance, heading north, passing through the misty temperate rain forest, crossing the rugged and steep mountain roads, and reaching the plateau meadows at an altitude of about 2,000 meters, it seems to have entered a green fairy tale world.
Here you can clearly see the snow on the top of the snow mountain that does not melt all year round, and you can also encounter various rare animals, such as grizzly bears, moose, elk, etc. We are so lucky to meet a squirrel here, it is not afraid of life at all, and it actively ran to the front of the car and looked at us curiously, it was so cute!
Camping in Mount Rainier National Park is also a super romantic thing. You can set up a tent anywhere, blow the breeze, watch the sunset, drink wine, and enjoy this rare tranquility and freedom.
But what needs to remind everyone is that the temperature difference between day and night is large here, it may still be sunny during the day, and it may rain heavily at night, so be prepared in advance!

Seattle - Cyberpunk Paradise.
🗼The Space Needle was designed for the 1962 World's Fair
Along with the Monorail, it embodies people's imagination of the future at that time
It still looks cool now, especially when the elevator flies up
There is a rotating floor on top, and the lounge design is amazing
No resistance to this exaggerated futurism
Ranked as Seattle's top 1
☕️Storyville coffee, in the crowded Pike Place Market, I found a place to sit and enjoy the scenery, which is really surprising (any consumption will be given any coffee, new users will also be given a mug, which is really a bargain, and their beans are really fragrant, my luggage is full of 🫘 fragrance, it's the level I want to buy back when I return to LA)
🛥️Argosy Cruises boat tour to see city buildings and skyline, tickets included in city pass, very relaxing on board, two routes available to choose from
⚠️Seattle's summer sunset time is relatively late, you can calculate the time before departure

It's like a painting!! @Mount Rainier (Mt. Rainier).
Even in August, the snow-covered mountains are enchanting, and I couldn't take my eyes off them. The air is clear, and you can feel the negative ions all over your body✨
It feels like stepping into a world of paintings✨
If you go to Seattle, you must visit!
We traveled with children in elementary school and older, and they had a great time.
Highly recommended for family trips!

Mount Rainier, the mountain of my dreams.
I first learned about Seattle through a TV show. When I arrived at Little Tipsoo Lake in the Sunrise area, I immediately felt that all my regrets were gone. The altitude here is 1,600 meters, the air becomes very clear, snow-capped mountains, lakes, meadows, plus blue sky and white clouds, it's too beautiful!
Mount Rainier National Park has 2 areas in total, Sunrise and Paradise, and tickets are required for Paradise.
The Sunrise area is extremely friendly and does not even require a national park ticket.
After walking in the forest for more than an hour, we finally saw the huge snow-capped mountains!
I would like to call it my dream mountain, which combines all my beautiful imaginations of snow-capped mountains.
The most important thing is that there is no need to climb mountains and there is no plateau reaction. The car is driven directly to the parking lot, and the scenery is like this when you get off the car.
For those who are not suitable for climbing, it is extremely friendly.

Mount Rainier is so beautiful.
📍Address: Mount Rainier National Park. Mount Rainier National Park is famous for its beautiful snow-capped mountains. There are four core scenic spots worth visiting:
First is the Nisqually Entrance area, where the dense roadside jungle is uniquely beautiful. Then you can reach the majestic Narada Falls and enjoy the picturesque scenery. In the summer Paradise area, you will encounter sky-blue and fragrant flowers. This is the Sky trail loop hiking trail full of internet celebrity elements, and you will also encounter lively marmots. In addition, don't miss Reflection Lakes, which is often the best place to shoot classic snow mountain reflections. The park is about a two-hour drive from Seattle, and you can enjoy the natural beauty all the way. I hope your journey can leave unforgettable memories here.

Alice in Wonderland enjoyed the autumn scenery at Mount Rainier
On Saturday, 9.30, we went to Mt Rainier and only walked 1.5 miles, but the scenery before us was so captivating that we simply couldn't bear to turn back! It felt like we had fallen into a fairy tale book.
Unfortunately, we started off in the wrong place because our navigation was incorrect. Sisters, if you're going, make sure not to navigate directly to 'Rainier' or 'visitor center', as they won't let you in!! We got to the entrance and the ticket seller told us to go to the other side of the mountain, 'Paradise'. We were completely confused, and it took another hour to get there! Luckily, we set off quite early that day.
After parking the car and grabbing a quick bite, we started our hike up the mountain. The scenery along the way was breathtaking, and the first part of the skyline trail was very easy to walk, even with a stroller, making it elderly and child friendly. After Myrtle Falls, the trail becomes a bit more difficult.
I must say, it's best to go up the mountain early. When we were heading back, fog had already set in on the mountain, and it was just after 2 PM. The temperature had also dropped quickly, and we couldn't see much of the scenery anymore

Reynier Mountain Travelogue
I am delighted to share with you my travelogue of Mount Rainier National Park. Located in the eastern part of Washington state in the United States, Mount Rainier National Park boasts spectacular mountains, waterfalls, and lakes, making it an ideal place for hiking and camping.
When I arrived at the park, I was immediately attracted by the magnificent scenery inside. I first went to the visitor center to learn some information about the park's history and attractions. Then I went to Lake Hoi, one of the most famous attractions in the park. I rented a small boat and roamed on the lake. The lake water is clear and the surrounding scenery is very beautiful.
Next, I went to the valley, which is a protected mountain valley with spectacular mountains, waterfalls, and wildlife. I walked along the trail all the way to the viewpoint of Plistec Point, which overlooks the valley and Mount Rainier. I was amazed by the stunning scenery. The flowers and plants in the valley also surprised me because they were so beautiful.
That night, I camped at a campsite in the park. It was my first time camping, but I really enjoyed the experience. At night, I saw a lot of stars, which was a beauty that couldn't be experienced in the city. The next morning, I hiked near the campsite and saw some wildlife, including deer and squirrels. This made me very excited.
Before I left the park, I also went to the top of Mount Rainier. Although it was a challenging hike, I think it was a very worthwhile experience. The view of the entire park from the summit was spectacular, and you could see the beautiful scenery of the entire state of Washington.
Overall, my trip to Mount Rainier National Park was unforgettable. I loved the natural beauty, wildlife, and camping experience in the park. I highly recommend anyone to come here and experience this beautiful place.

🏔️Mount Rainier National Park | Accidentally stumbled into Heidi's garden
Mount Rainier National Park
📍Detailed address:
Rainier National Park is located 2-3 hours southeast of downtown Seattle, depending on which entrance you take. We traveled from nearby Oregon.
🚗Transportation guide:
▪️Public transportation to enter the park is limited, so I suggest driving or renting a car. The best route to visit Mount Rainier is to be able to tour the park along wildflower meadows, towering trees, and mountain scenery.
▪️The closest airport to the park is Seattle-Tacoma International Airport.
🗓Best time to visit:
Although some areas of the park are officially open all year round, summer and autumn are the best times to visit so far. Especially from July to October, the weather is good, there is no snow on the road, and you can also see wildflowers.
🏔Park entrance
▪️There are four main entrances to Mount Rainier National Park: Nisqually (southwest), Carbon River (northwest), White River/Sunrise (northeast), and Stevens Canyon (southeast).
▪️The Nisqually entrance is probably the most popular choice, as it allows vehicle access year-round, is close to the state's main highways, and provides access to Longmire and Paradise.
⚠️Please note that many park roads are closed in winter.
🏔The park has five main sections:
Longmire, Paradise, Ohanapecosh, Sunrise, and Carbon River/Mowich. I want to say that the most developed and famous parts of the park are Paradise and Sunrise.
▪️Longmire - Historic district of the park, providing access to the Wilderness Information Center, museum, and National Park Inn.
▪️Heaven - known for its wildflower meadows, main park visitor center, winter activities, ranger station, guides, and Heaven Lodge.
▪️Ohanapecosh - Experience the ancient forest of the park, and visit the Ohanapecosh Visitor Center and Ohanapecosh Campground.
▪️Sunrise - a popular spot for wildflowers, grasslands, and mountain views. You can visit the Sunrise Visitor Center, Sunrise Day Lodge, and White River Campground.
▪️Carbon River/Mowich - known for its beautiful trails and camping, including Mowich Lake Campground and Tolmie Peak Trail.
🏨Where to stay?
Within and outside of Mount Rainier National Park, there are many lodging options available.
In the park, you can choose to stay at the National Park Inn (Longmire) and Paradise Inn, or at one of the three main campgrounds (Cougar Rock, Ohanapecosh, and White River).
Outside the park: Ashford and Parkwood:
▪️Creekside Cabin is a classic and comfortable small house that can accommodate up to 4 people, located near the entrance of Nisqually Park.
▪️The Nelson Basecamp Cabin is a family-run cabin filled with personal mementos from mountain trips and ample outdoor space.
▪️Overlooking the river from the Big Creek Cabin, with a comfortable loft bedroom and beautiful views from the deck.
🏔Recommended scenic spots
▪️Explore paradise, witness wildflowers and grasslands, the historic Paradise Inn, and visit the museum upstairs at the Jackson Visitor Center in Paradise.
▪️When driving up from the southwest entrance, stop at the Christine Falls and Narada Falls. They both have short walking distances, but the scenery is stunning!
▪️Admire the mountain scenery from Reflection Lake (named for the beautiful reflection of Mount Rainier you saw on still days).
▪️The scenery along the road between heaven and sunrise is beautiful. Detour to Tipsoo Lake to see the blooming wildflowers, the picnic area of nature, and the view of Mount Rainier.
▪️Drive to the highest point of the park to watch the sunrise. You can also overlook the views of Mount Rainier, Emmons Glacier, and Mount Adams.
▪️Explore the historic district of Longmire, including the Longmire Museum and National Park Inn.
