#SpringZeroYenTrip Stopped by MONZ CAFE for a little break☺️ It's a very popular cafe, so I had been curious about it for a while! The cafe was crowded, but I was able to get in after a short wait. You order at the entrance first.☺️ The Basque cheesecake (¥660) and tiramisu (¥580) were both truly delicious☺️ The rich flavor that wasn’t too sweet was the best! I frequented the monza cafe during my stay in tokyo. My air bnb was not too far from here. It was a pleasant stroll through the neighbourhood. I tried their lovely desserts and espressos which were every good quality. For a change there was no wifi here but i loved this cafe. The cakes and sandwiches were beautifully crafted, it feels like a wonderful neighbourhood cafe. Like one of those community favourites with a wide variety in visitors ranging from locals to families and groups enjoying the fresh air. Another plus is there seems to be a resident pup with the thickest mane of hair to welcome you. Very glad I stumbled by this lovely spot. Monzen-Nakacho, Tokyo. MONZ CAFE is located along the approach to Fukagawa Fudoson. I had the Strawberry and Duck (700 yen), which features espresso red bean paste and whipped cream, and a latte. The shop is compact. There are 18 seats. It is about 180m away from Monzen-Nakacho Station on the subway. The cafe was renovated from a sweet sake shop that has been in business since the Meiji era, so the atmosphere of the old house was wonderful.
