This time, I intentionally stayed at both a cheap and an expensive resort to experience a completely unplanned relaxing trip. Every day, I woke up naturally (personal opinion: don't book breakfast at Philippine hotels, it's more worth it to sleep in 🤭), took a walk by the beach, got a massage, and enjoyed local restaurant delicacies, thoroughly relaxing my body and mind! On the day I was leaving Bohol Island, since I don't do water activities, I thought I could join a land day tour. I booked a car to see the tarsiers and Chocolate Hills, which was a nice way to check off some sightseeing spots!

The shopping center doesn't have many stores: about 10 restaurants, a convenience store, and a currency exchange (the exchange rate is not as good as at Manila Airport). We recommend the ice cream from Buzz Cafe by Bohol Bee Farm, which is natural, cheap, and delicious! The white sand beach outside the shopping center is maintained by the neighboring Modala Beach Resort. It's very clean, the sand is fine, and it's comfortable to walk barefoot! There are very few tourists, so you can leisurely stroll and take photos. When leaving the shopping center, if there are no tuk-tuks available, you can ask the security guard to contact nearby drivers to pick you up.

Some great restaurants in the area. The mall was recently built just before COVID, so unfortunately the upper levels are still desolate and empty, but there's a great bubble tea shop and a few good restaurants below. The beach is very quiet and calm, very few people, and very clean. Definitely a good location to be compared to Adona beach if you prefer a bit more seclusion

Check-in starts at 3pm, but you can use the pool early if you go early, so don't worry. They also kindly leave your luggage. As you can see in the picture, the deluxe room has a double bed and a single king bed, so it's perfect for 3 people! The premier room is similar in size, but the view is a little better and a bathtub is provided. It's a hot country, but it's still nice to take a bath.`` You can get as many beach towels as you want with the towel card you receive when you check in! The resort has a happy hour from 3pm, and some cocktails and beers are offered 1+1, so I hope you enjoy it.
