📍Philippines Cebu Island "Moalboal" I went snorkeling in "Moalboal", famous for its sea turtles and schools of sardines! I was staying in Cebu City on the east side of Cebu Island, but since Moalboal is located on the west side, I booked a tour that included transportation and snorkeling. I stayed in Moalboal on Cebu Island. Moalboal is famous for being able to swim with schools of sardines and sea turtles, and since there are many travelers staying in Moalboal, there are plenty of hotels, restaurants, and dive shops. It's a laid-back, peaceful town, so I enjoyed snorkeling every day during my stay and had drinks in restaurants at night, relaxing. A perfect snorkeling experience, just walk down to the beach in moalbaol, grab a rental snorkel, mask and fins and head into the sea. I'd reccomend renting a guide to help as they cost around 60rmb in equivalent pesos. The guide will speed up finding the sardine storms, help take awesome photos of you diving through them and they are carry a small raft in case you fancy a rest or the water gets a little choppy.
