[Tagawa, Fukuoka] A windmill festival decorated with colorful windmills 🫧
#Outdoor2024
📍Mii-dera (Byodo-ji) In the summer, they held a wind chime festival, but the windmill festival at Mii-dera has started, so I went there right away. Windmill Festival
▫️Held from Tuesday, October 12th to Saturday, February 1st I was watching the colorful windmills swaying in the wind and thinking how wonderful they were, when I saw soap bubbles 🫧There is a soap bubble time twice an hour. The collaboration between the windmills and soap bubbles was very cute. Miidera Temple 📍Fukuoka
I went to Miidera Temple in the summer, where the wind chimes are super cute!
The parking lot is a little small, so I recommend going on a weekday.
Of all the temples with wind chimes I've been to, this temple has by far the most!
Not only are there a lot of wind chimes, but they also have a lot of lovely words written on them, and just looking at them is soul-cleansing.
There are many types of goshuin stamps, and they're all so cute, so if you have a goshuin stamp book, be sure to bring one with you and have them write one for you!

[Fukuoka Tourism] A temple where you can enjoy cool wind chimes and soap bubbles🎐
"Mii-dera (Byodo-ji)"
A temple in Tagawa City, Fukuoka Prefecture
It was my first time there
On this day, there was a wind chime festival🎐
A long tunnel decorated with about 10,000 wind chimes
It's about 50m long
On this day, I was the only one there, so I had the place to myself✨️
As I slowly went through the tunnel,
the head priest was decorating wind chimes at the back🎐
He told me, "Soap bubbles will come out soon"🫧
I took my time taking photos until the bubbles started I took photos and prayed
The sound of the wind chimes was soothing🎐
When the bubbles started
I got excited and took a lot of photos🫧
I had a very relaxing and elegant time
There was also a cute Jizo statue
I hope everyone's wishes come true🎐🫧

Is it free? ️ 13,000 wind chimes welcome you ✨✨ Wind chime temple is all about photogenic photos 🎐
One of the most SNS-friendly spots that symbolizes summer in Fukuoka!
Today, we will introduce "Mii-dera Temple" in Tagawa City, Fukuoka Prefecture.
It is also known locally as "Furin Temple" because of the overwhelming number of wind chimes that are decorated. 🎐
The temple grounds are decorated with an incredible amount of wind chimes, but the highlight is the tunnel made of 10,000 wind chimes, measuring about 2.5m wide and 50m long. 😍
Is there a tunnel that looks this good at this time of year?! ️
In addition to the wind chimes, there are also unique Jizo statues, such as the fist pump Jizo, the lazy Jizo, the smiling Jizo, and the parent-child Jizo, which not only soothe you but also the Jizo statues themselves 🥰
At Miidera, they also blow bubbles, which makes it even more photogenic 🫧
There is also a bubble machine installed, but the head priest brings it out when the time comes 😎
And the best part is that you can enjoy this photogenic space for free 🤩
I'm so happy!
The wind chimes will be installed from April 20th to August 31st
[Trivia about the sound of wind chimes] ----
What kind of sound soothes you?
The sound of a river babbling and the chirping of birds are also soothing, aren't they!
The "tinkling" sound of wind chimes has the same frequency as the two sounds mentioned above, and is said to have a soothing effect because it induces alpha waves in the brain. 💡
In addition, according to one experiment, the skin temperature of Japanese people drops when they hear the sound of wind chimes. 🧐
It seems that wind chimes are indeed an item that makes Japanese people feel cool at the DNA level. 😆

That's all!
What do you think? As the weather gets hotter, why not try cooling off with some wind chimes from Fukuoka? 🎐
