This is the Jiangnan water town version of Fuzhou
In the misty rain, Fuzhou quietly transforms into an ink dream of Jiangnan, with every corner exuding an elegant and gentle atmosphere.🖌️
Climbing to the top of Gushan, Yongquan Temple quietly awaits there. The 40 yuan ticket is like a key to travel through a thousand years, leading you into a fairyland. The green waves in the pond gently ripple, intertwined with misty rain, as if the whole world is immersed in this flowing Jiangnan painting.🏞️
Walking into Shangxiahang, the ancient streets and alleys have streams trickling and small boats gently floating. No ticket is needed to appreciate the leisurely charm of Jiangnan water town. For just 98 yuan, you can take a boat ride and spend 25 minutes of pleasant time with friends, letting your soul be completely released in this tranquility.🛶
Zhishan Spring and Autumn Park, a cultural park full of historical charm, is open to the public for free. Strolling in the park, as the sun sets, the fairy spirit lingers, making it seem like you have entered an extraordinary fairyland, making people linger and forget to leave.🌅
By the Liuhua Creek, a thousand-year-old tree stands majestically, witnessing the passage and changes of time. By the creek, you can choose to row a boat to feel the unique charm of Jiangnan water town, or quietly sit under the tree, listening to the whispers of the wind and the singing of the water.🌳
By the Min River, Jinshan Temple stands lonely and mysterious. A 6 yuan boat ticket takes you to experience its isolated independence up close. At dusk, Jinshan Temple looks more solemn and sacred under the illumination of lights, similar to Hongya Cave, making people intoxicated.🏰
In Linyang Temple, plum blossoms bloom, filling the air with fragrance. No ticket is needed to immerse yourself in this sea of plum blossoms and feel the freshness and elegance. Fuzhou in January and February is even more charming because of the plum blossoms.🌸
Outside Xichan Temple, green leaves and red walls complement each other. The spring breeze brings the breath of spring and the vitality of life. Although it requires a 20 yuan ticket to enter the temple, the tranquility and Zen cannot be measured by money.🍃
Sanfang Qixiang, the bustling long alley of Fuzhou, gathers the smoke and fire of the world and historical culture. It is open to the public for free. You can stroll on the stone-paved road, admire the ancient architecture, and appreciate the charm of traditional culture; you can also taste authentic Fuzhou snacks and feel the strong local atmosphere.🏮🍜
In the Yunshuijian Homestay in Shoushan Township, you can experience a different kind of Jiangnan water town life. After driving to the homestay, you can take a black awning boat to roam the lake or sit by the lake to enjoy tea and the scenery, enjoying a leisurely time.🏡
The Jiangnan style of Fuzhou is far more than this. There are more unknown secrets waiting for you to explore and discover. Let's walk into the Jiangnan water town of Fuzhou together and feel its unique charm and allure!🎒🚗

Fuzhou Ship Administration Cultural Scenic Area - The 'Living Fossil' of Modern Chinese History
Fuzhou Ship Administration Cultural Scenic Area is located in Mawei District, Fuzhou City, Fujian Province. It is the first theme park in China with a focus on ship administration culture tourism, and it is the largest ship administration cultural base in the country as well as a patriotism education base in Fuzhou City. Mawei is situated at the mouth of the Min River in Fujian, just across the water from Taiwan. It has been the maritime gateway for Fuzhou since ancient times and was designated as one of the five treaty ports in the modern era. As early as 1866, Zuo Zongtang and Shen Baozhen founded the Fujian Ship Administration here. This was the first professional machinery shipbuilding factory in modern China, marking the beginning of a series of vigorous 'enrich the country and strengthen the military' activities, including building shipyards, constructing warships, manufacturing airplanes, establishing schools, recruiting talent, and sending students abroad for study. These efforts cultivated and produced a group of outstanding industrial and technological talents and distinguished naval officers of modern China, represented by figures such as Yan Fu, Zhan Tianyou, Sa Zhenbing, and Deng Shichang. They pioneered the spirit of 'observing the world with a detached view' and boldly proposed to 'look at the world with a cold eye'. By introducing advanced Western science and technology, spreading Chinese and Western cultures, and promoting the modernization process of China, it is known as the 'Living Fossil' of modern Chinese history.

Strolling through Fuzhou at night, up and down the streets
The Shangxiahang Historical and Cultural District is located in Taijiang District of Fuzhou City, adjacent to the north bank of the Min River, with a total land area of 476 acres. It is a collection of cultural relics protection units, registered cultural relics sites, and traditional architectural styles, possessing a profound historical and cultural heritage. Taijiang, formerly known as 'Nantai', stands facing the river and has been a distribution center for goods from various places in Fujian Province entering the provincial capital since ancient times. Since the Ming and Qing dynasties, the southern foot of Huize Mountain (now called Daimiao Mountain) has been the site of the 'three miles of the Min River, with its vast and surging waves'. Due to the long-term accumulation of silt, two 'sand traces' were formed, becoming the water transport wharves for berthing ships and loading and unloading goods in the vast Min River, known as 'Upper Sailing' and 'Lower Sailing'. The word 'Hang' evolved from the sound of 'Sailing'. In ancient times, the Min River water bypassed Daimiao Mountain, gradually forming 'Luzhou' (land island), and then evolved into a prosperous commercial and trade district, renamed 'Shanghang' and 'Xiahang'. This name has been used to this day, with a history of three to four hundred years. This place was once an important birthplace of the 'Fujian merchant spirit' in Fuzhou, known as the 'Fuzhou Traditional Commercial Museum'. After restoration and transformation, the Shangxiahang Historical and Cultural District has not only become a new calling card for Fuzhou tourism but also a new landmark for the night-time economy. The area is commercially prosperous, with a gathering of merchant groups and a forest of guild halls, with as many as 14 guild halls at its peak. The Gutian Guild Hall, Yongde Guild Hall, Jianning Guild Hall, Nanguo Guild Hall, Minqing Guild Hall, and other guild halls built by merchant groups from various places either feature Chinese-style carved beams and painted rafters or a unique style combining Chinese and Western elements. They witnessed the early trade integration of Fuzhou with the world and the early trade prosperity of Fujian.

Strolling along the Min River
🌟 Highlights:
I visited Fuzhou twice this year, and I personally like to stroll around the parks by the Min River. When the weather is good, the scenery is quite nice, and it's also great for drone photography.
Thanks to the good greening and landscape lighting on both sides of the river, both the night view and the daytime scenery are worth a visit.
⏳ Visiting Time:
Park walking time is quite flexible, mainly depending on the schedule. I happened to arrange to have dinner by the river, so I took a walk in the afternoon and at dusk.
The core of the night view is mainly concentrated around Zhongzhou Island, and the daytime scenery is also quite good. However, there is a lot of pedestrian traffic on both sides of Zhongzhou Island at night, especially near Yantai Mountain, so walking is recommended.

Fujian Fuzhou Minjiang Pedestrian Street
The recent temperature is comfortable,
After having a full meal at Dongbai,
Right next to it is the pedestrian street,
Taking a walk feels so relaxing.
Today is the Double Ninth Festival,
There are stage performances,
Quite lively.
Standing on the railing,
Overlooking Minjiang and the dimming lights.
Walking along the road to finish the Jiefang Bridge,
The other side of the bridge is Yantai Mountain,
Bought two breads at the Little Hunter Bakery,
Continuing to walk towards the vine station,
Subway is free after five o'clock in the evening.

Night tour of Min River
Night tour of Min River
It's July, taking advantage of the cool river breeze in the intense heat. When night falls on the Min River, the gentle breeze brushes against my face, bringing me indescribable joy. I took a boat to observe the river and the sea, and now I record it.
At first sight of the incoming boats, the lights are brilliant, the scenery is beautiful, and I, along with the tourists, board the boat. Suddenly, the river wind rises, standing up to feel the wonder of nature; bending down to admire the beauty of the lights. The fortunate ones are enjoying the state of fortune, and all the tourists are overjoyed.
Turning the boat around, I marvel at the bridge houses. Having this view in midsummer, it's worth the trip. Suddenly, the boat is about to stop, and all the fantastic scenery is with it. Not knowing the troubles of life, one should know that there are the wonders of prosperity and the sadness of decline. Do not take the joy of success as joy, nor the sadness of decline as sadness. Seek to be diligent and cautious. This is how success is achieved.

Must-go for the New Year! 4 off-the-beaten-path cities, taking you on a different New Year's journey!
As a person who is passionate about travel, I have visited more than a few cities in the country. Compared to those crowded and bustling popular cities, I am more fond of those little-known but charming destinations. With the upcoming winter vacation and Spring Festival, I would like to recommend the following 4 rare and charming tourist cities to you, which I deeply yearn for.
The first city is Fuzhou, Fujian. Although many people think of Xiamen first, Fuzhou, this slow-paced provincial capital, is also worth a visit. There are islands in the city and the sea outside the city. You can go to the Minjiang River for a night tour to watch the fireworks, or go to Lianjiang to enjoy the beautiful sea view with few people. The arrival of the new year in the blessed state will surely bring you full of good luck.
The second city is Mangshi, Yunnan. This is the only city in the country named with one character, bordering Myanmar, but don't worry about safety issues. Walking on the street, you can feel the strong Southeast Asian style and taste various delicious snacks. My friends thought I went to Southeast Asia when they saw my moments!
The third city is Putian, Fujian. As Quanzhou has been recommended many times and the number of people is gradually increasing, I found this treasure city Putian next to Quanzhou. It is a place full of national treasures, and very few people know about the niche Meizhou Island.
The fourth city is Chongzuo, Guangxi. This small city on the China-Vietnam border is far away from the hustle and bustle, and every shot is a landscape painting. National Geographic also generously praised: "Guilin's landscape is the best in the world, Chongzuo's scenery competes with Guilin".
The last city is Yantai, Shandong. Yantai has been planted by the lonely whale a long time ago! The clean and livable Yantai has a different romantic atmosphere in winter. There are small road trestles leading to the sea, mysterious seaside caves, and long beautiful beach coastlines, leaving too many good impressions.

Fuzhou|You should always take a boat ride on the Min River and enjoy the sea breeze
When you first come to Fujian, in addition to seeing the sea in the surrounding cities, the beautiful scenery and night view of Fuzhou are also worth a look, especially the night view of the Min River.
As the lights come on, the river sparkles under the illumination of the lights, and the lights of the buildings and shops on the river bank are reflected in the river, shining brightly.
Places suitable for taking night scenes:
Liberation Bridge: It looks even more spectacular under the illumination of night lights.
Youth Club: There are the most people at night, and the food and scenery are more abundant.
Shangxia Hang: Walk and watch, the exchange of ancient and modern times takes place here.
Yantai Mountain: Shops are full of people, and there are stories under the banyan trees at all times.
Min River Park: A good place for lovers.
Taijiang Pedestrian Street: The best place to digest and walk, and shop.
Zhongzhou Island: The European-style buildings at night are even more golden and brilliant.
🌼Equipment: It is best to use a mirrorless camera
🌼Method: Cycling, walking, ferry
The feelings of walking and ferry are different. If you have time, you can take a ferry to tour the Min River. It costs 100 yuan per person and lasts about 90 minutes. It is suitable for parent-child.

Here are 9 off-the-beaten-path cities I recommend for celebrating the New Year
"Here are 9 off-the-beaten-path cities I recommend for celebrating the New Year" Over the years of traveling, I've visited more than 100 cities in China.
Compared to those crowded popular cities,
I prefer those lesser-known but interesting destinations.
Seeing that winter vacation and Spring Festival are approaching,
I'm sharing these 9 interesting and lesser-known travel cities with you,
which make me want to stay the most~
·
🔸Fuzhou, Fujian
When it comes to Fujian, many people first think of Xiamen, but the slow-paced provincial capital Fuzhou is very worthwhile. There are islands in the city and sea outside the city. You can go for a night cruise on the Minjiang River to watch fireworks, and you can also go to Lianjiang, which has beautiful scenery and few people, to see the sea. The new year is coming, and you will definitely be full of good luck in Fuzhou~
·
🔸Mangshi, Yunnan
The only city in China named with a single character, bordering Myanmar but you don't have to worry about safety at all. Walking on the street, you can feel the Southeast Asian style, and there are all kinds of delicious snacks. My friends thought I went to Southeast Asia when they saw my Moments!
·
🔸Putian, Fujian
As Quanzhou has been recommended many times and the number of people has gradually increased, I found the treasure city Putian next to Quanzhou this time. It is full of national treasures, and very few people know about the lesser-known Meizhou Island~
·
🔸Chongzuo, Guangxi
A small city on the China-Vietnam border that can be called a "secret place", far away from the hustle and bustle, every shot is a landscape painting! Even National Geographic generously praised: "Guilin's landscape is the best in the world, and Chongzuo's scenery is comparable to Guilin"~
·
🔸Yantai, Shandong
Yantai has been planted by the Lonely Whale a long time ago! Clean and livable Yantai, there is a unique romance in winter, there are small road trestles leading to the sea, there are mysterious seaside caves, the long and beautiful beach coastline gives people too many good feelings~
·
🔸Huangshan, Anhui
If you don't want to squeeze with people in Huangshan and Hongcun, you can stay in various villages on the cloud to empty your mind, and you can enjoy the scenery alone; if you want to join in the fun, Huizhou also has many local lantern festivals to visit, fewer people than Suzhou and Hangzhou but full of New Year's atmosphere~
·
🔸Yibin, Sichuan
Many people's impression of Yibin is still stuck on Wuliangye and Yibin Burning Noodles, but it is actually a seriously underestimated city, with ancient towns like Jiangnan, docks like Chongqing, "Bell Towers" like Xi'an, and the most beautiful forest in China......
·
🔸Wanning, Hainan
Avoid the crowded Sanya and come to Wanning next door to lie flat, many variety shows come here to shoot, it is also a paradise for surfers, driving along the sea, half coconut grove and half sea, this is the life I long for~
·
🔸Baoshan, Yunnan
The spring city that is more like a spring city than Kunming, the average annual temperature is in the teens, you may not know its name, but you must have heard of Tengchong under its jurisdiction, it not only has beautiful hiking places to watch the sunrise and sunset, but also has ancient towns surrounded by volcanoes and the first coffee village in China, if you are tired, come here to stay for a few days~

(Fuzhou) Rongcheng, if there is no if
🍀 The first take-off of this year was given to "Rongcheng". On March 18 last year, I was watching cherry blossoms at Wuhan University. Every March when the grass grows and the orioles fly, I always like to go to its city and measure the distance of this city with my steps.
🍀 HYATT, which is always known for its height and overlooking night view, disappointed me this time. This out-of-place high-rise building standing in a remote area more than an hour away from the airport can be seen from a distance. Its momentum is magnificent, but the surrounding environment is very bad, dusty and inconvenient to access. Compared with other HYATT in big cities, its desolation is too strong.
🍀 Walking barefoot on the soft carpet of the 18th floor, the scenery outside the floor-to-ceiling window seems to have nothing to do with the mood. The weather in coastal cities is always so unpredictable. The afternoon sun becomes stormy at night. All activities are temporarily cancelled. I went to a nearby cinema to watch a movie called "Beauty and the Beast". I was inexplicably moved by the love in it. Love needs the fit of the soul and the communication of the soul. However, the castle behind is the most critical place for this love. Bread and love are always equivalent.
🍀 The three lanes and seven alleys of the second day are the most beautiful part of this journey. Watching the crowd surge in the small alley, I found a small coffee shop to sit down, eating freshly baked muffins and oat milk tea, drawing illustrations belonging to the coffee shop. I heard that it was raining heavily in Magic City, but Rongcheng was sunny. The distance of a plane ticket is a change of mood.
🍀 The Minjiang River at night is similar to the Binjiang Avenue in Magic City. After looking at the scenery on the opposite bank, I retreated all over. He and I have seen the night view of Victoria Harbour, and nothing is better than having someone accompany me to look at the distance. This year, there is also Yangmingshan, where it is said to have beautiful scenery. I am waiting for the passage of time.
🍀 Rongcheng is not a tourist city. Its attractions are always so sparse and cannot attract my attention. The Zuo Hai Park and Shao Garden No. 1 Creative Park that I arrived on the last day will never come up in my memory. I only remember a hot pot restaurant called "See you tomorrow" under the yellow fallen leaves. It is particularly bleak and beautiful. I sat quietly in the coffee shop opposite this hot pot restaurant and spent the last three hours in this city. I like the latte art of the mint latte in front of me, and I also like such a deserted afternoon. People are far away, and their hearts are thousands of miles away.

Appreciate the charming night view of the Minjiang River
Minjiang River
❤Recommended reason:
The night view of the Minjiang River is indeed charming. The Minjiang River at night has a unique charm, winding along the alleys, streets, and long bridges, and finally converging into the Minjiang River. This may not be the most prosperous area of Fuzhou, but it is the place with the most shining lights and the most charming night view. Starting from the Taijiang Wharf next to the Taijiang Yuanhong City, you can start a night tour of the Minjiang River. The Jiefang Bridge spanning the river surface turns into a ribbon under the lights, and the buildings on Zhongzhou Island are even more dazzling under the lights, which is really lingering and reluctant to leave!
🌟Highlights:
The Jasmine Street of the Minjiang River is an important part of the 'Heart of the Minjiang River'. The night view here is charming, with a different view at every step, and there are 'little surprises' everywhere. The high face value of Jasmine Street is amazing, and different types of jasmine flower shapes have become the first eye-catching scenery for the city's reception hall to welcome guests from all directions. In addition, there are jasmine theme check-in points, jasmine lanterns, jasmine canopies, jasmine flags and other elements. After nightfall, you can also appreciate the 'leaked' beautiful scenery and jasmine parades, flash activities, etc.

Fuzhou Yantai Mountain
The Yantai Mountain historical style area along the south bank of the Minjiang River, known as the 'World Architecture Museum', still retains the mountain streets, western buildings, and ancient houses from a hundred years ago.
A garden, a road, a bunch of flowers, a house, a carter, all have poetry. Especially lovely is when the setting sun is faint, a bell sound is sent out from the church, and a few girls with flower paper umbrellas walk under the green shade... This is the description left by Ye Shengtao for Yantai Mountain in 1923.

NIGHT TOUR AT MINJIANG RIVER
Today got a night tour at Minjiang River. Taken a ferry tour cruise. It took about 50 minutes. The scenery on both sides of the riverbanks offer you a spectacular view of high-rise buildings with full decorated lighting. During the cruise, passing through the lighted bridges given you a sense of excitement and joyful night.
After the ferry cruise, taken a slow stroll along the river side enjoy the night view. The walk ways were well lighted up with many shops and restaurants along the side. Along the river side, you can also observe many groups of people relaxing themselves with dance or exercising. A good place for relaxing and sightseeing in the night with different views compare to a day tour. Highly recommended you guys for a NIGHT TOUR. Worth the trip to be there.
