Fuzhou Min'an|A thousand-year-old town that you don't want to leave once you come
|A thousand-year-old town that you don't want to leave once you come. Fuzhou has been known as "Min in the sea" since ancient times. Our ancestors set off from here, crossing rivers and seas, cutting through waves, and opened up a Silk Road on the sea that stretches for thousands of miles. Over the past thousands of years, countless ships have left the port and entered the city, witnessing the glorious history of Fuzhou city where thousands of sails gathered in the past. And the historical and cultural village we are going to mention today, Mawei Min'an Village, is a must-mention ancient town on the "Silk Road on the Sea".
This well-known thousand-year-old town on the southeast coast, fronting the Min River and facing the sea, overlooking Taiwan, is the throat of the Min River estuary entering the provincial capital. From the Tang to the Qing Dynasty, it was an important gateway for Fuzhou and eastern Fujian's land transportation and access to the sea, and was the most important military town and sea trade town in ancient Fuzhou.

The exterior is beautiful, the structure is unique, the total length is 66 meters, the width is 4.8 meters, 4 piers and 5 holes, the most special thing is that all 5 bridge piers are boat-shaped, pointed at both ends, and slightly upturned. The stone pillars on the bridge are carved with various mythical beasts, showing the exquisite stone carving skills of the Tang and Song Dynasties. It is now a provincial protected cultural relic.
