Min'an Ancient Town is located in Tingjiang Town, Mawei District, Fuzhou. It is known as the "First Gateway of Fujian's Coastline" 🥰, and is full of historical charm. Back in the Tang and Song Dynasties, Min'an was a key maritime route, and naturally evolved into an important hub for foreign trade and a center for the gathering of goods from all over. Since then, Min'an has enjoyed a thousand years of prosperity 🎇.
In the Ming and Qing Dynasties, Zheng He's fleet sailed west, and Ryukyu tribute ships frequently traveled back and forth. As one of the most important ports on the Maritime Silk Road, Min'an took advantage of Zheng He's seven visits to the area, and painted a brilliant picture on the Maritime Silk Road ✨. Merchant ships set sail from Min'an Xinggang and Dongqi Wharf, traveling north and south, across the seas. Ships lined up along the Min'an River, creating a spectacular scene!
