We visited this place on the weekend recommended by our friend, a very nice and cozy place for brunch and tea!! Their desserts looks so good and affordable, we ordered the flourless chocolate fudge with ice cream, it was so so good!! Can’t wait to try out the rest of the desserts. The pasta here are really good too, I personally preferred the crab meat pasta, they are so generous with the crab meat. Coffee was quite standard, nothing too special. The only down side of this place is the seats are quite limited, advise to come during non peak hour if you don’t like the crowd.

Got some credits left in our star gift card, so decided to give the “TEA FOR TWO” a go here. The tea set included carrot cake, mud cake, signature doughnut, scones, mixed sandwiches and one standard tea or coffee per person. We both had a flat white. The coffee was nice but not hot enough. The coffee came much earlier than the food as we had to wait for 25 minutes. The sandwiches, scones and cakes were placed nicely on a. The sandwich bread was very dry and the filling also not looked very fresh. The taste was just ok. Then we had the scones which was really good, warm and soft. The carrot cake and mud cake were not bad but the signature doughnut was pretty ordinary as it’s a bit hard, didn’t look fresh at all. A comfortable place to stay in Gold Coast. The place I stayed the most in Australia is Gold Coast. I often stayed in Surfers Paradise or Broadbeach. Peppers, Mantra, Sofitel, etc., but this place was the best for me! Meriton Suites Broadbeach😍 First of all, Broadbeach is right next to Surfers by car for 5-10 minutes. Surfers has too many tourists..I prefer Broadbeach, which is moderately busy, because it has a moderate number of restaurants and Pacific Fair, a large shopping mall across the street. First of all, the room is a residence type, with a separate living room and bedroom. The kitchen is also fully equipped with a corner where you can cook, and there is a washing machine and dryer for laundry. They even leave liquid soap with you every day! We arrived for our week-long visit only to discover we had no reservation! This was entirely our (my) mistake. However, Jacob at reception and the Manager, James, were incredibly helpful and understanding. They managed to secure us the same accommodation level we believed we booked, and at a better rate too! Just fantastic, as was the rest of our experience. Iris at the entrance was consistently inviting and assisted with extra apartment supplies. Meriton Broadbeach is ideally located for the mall, cafes, the beach path, and dining. Having stayed here before, we certainly plan to return!

The moment I arrived at the Phoenician Resort, the service was remarkable. The staff were friendly and professional, making me feel truly welcome from check-in until departure. My stay was both cozy and calming, enhanced by the resort’s excellent amenities. The spa, pool, and sauna were all beautifully kept, providing an ideal setting for unwinding. Though I didn't use it myself, the on-site gym is a great perk for staying active during visits. The suite was nicely equipped, although there was a minor issue with the toilet paper (3/4 roll and just one spare) and no free milk. These were minor inconveniences and didn't significantly impact my overall experience, but future guests should be aware. One thing worth noting: my dining experience at La Porchetta with fellow guests was disappointing and didn't match the resort’s high standards. Although this isn’t directly a resort issue, it could affect the perception of the stay. In conclusion, I thoroughly enjoyed my time at the Phoenician and would gladly return. It's a superb choice for a relaxing escape with exceptional service and top-tier facilities.

The Gold Coast is a metropolitan region on Australia’s East Coast which is famed for its long fine golden sandy beaches, Great surfing spot with strong and high waves to spin your board up high. If not so adventurous, then just enjoy the walks with your love one or just have fun with your furry kids spinning the tennis ball along the beaches. There are parks such as Dreamworld, Sea World and Wet’n’Wild. Inland, hiking trails crisscross Lamington National Park’s mountain ridges and valleys, home to rare birds and rainforest. Just look out for irritating Australian white ibis which will pick and eat your croissants if you leave it unguarded. There are many other shopping centres out skirt of Surfer Paradise. Pacific Fair shopping centre for example is less busy and crowded than the touristy Surfers and you still find domestics Australian names like Jurlique and Aesop to name some. Spend $300 in a store and you can get 10% rebates at the airport of departure. Lululemon is super cheap in Australia and New Zealand coupled with a 10% rebates upon purchase of $300, that will save you additional A$30 on top of a value purchases. As usual go for coffee and croissants in almost any cafe during your rest period . I pretty like Bam Bam Bakehouse which is not far from surfers. Tram and train rides are $0.10 for now given the government encourages eco travel and keeping the road free of cars , thus take advantage of the cheap ride.

It was our first visit at Meriton Broadbeach and we were happy with the service. Staff were very welcoming and accommodating. Room was spacious and has a full kitchen even if it was only a studio suite. Beautiful ocean view. They have heated outdoor and indoor pools. We only used the indoor one as it was windy at that time. There's enough parking and paid 15 AUD per night. A lot of restaurants around and even the biggest shopping mall in Gold Coast was just walking distance. Reception was open 24/7. You actually find it cheaper if you join their membership and book through their website. Highly recommended!
