🇯🇵I went snowboarding from Tokyo by Shinkansen🏂️
#DomesticTrip
Until now, I've mostly gone by bus, but
this time I went by Shinkansen for the first time and it was pretty good, so I'll report back!
🚄Tokyo-EchigoYuzawa
Meet at Tokyo Station at 5:50am → Depart around 6:10am
Round-trip Shinkansen + 1-day lift ticket = 14,500 yen
If you rent, it's from here + a few thousand yen
🏂️Maiko Snow Resort
Take the bus from EchigoYuzawa Station to the slopes.
I've been to Maiko Snow Resort a few times,
but it's just right for beginners to intermediates✨
On the way back, I looked for souvenirs in front of EchigoYuzawa Station💪
🧳Gangi Street・Chuo Ichiba
・Rice (as expected of the world-famous Koshihikari)
・Sasa dango
・Yasuda milk
・Nodoguro
There was a lot of food, such as sweets and rice accompaniments made with rich ingredients, and traditional craft goods!
🍙 Bakudan Onigiri-ya Echigo Yuzawa Station
A big rice ball made with 2 cups of rice (check beforehand).
It's so big it covers your face!!😳
It's perfect for a tired body after a day of snowboarding...🥹💕
I really want you to try it, but you might have to wait 10-20 minutes!
(When I went on a 3-day weekend, I waited 40 minutes💦)
One is enough to fill you up🍙
Day trip snowboarding costs a little more than the bus, but
You get there faster than the bus and can ride the lift in the morning
You can get back to Tokyo in half the time, so it's the best🏆️✨
There are also tour packages, so check them out☝️
