The capital city of Valletta is located on a peninsula, along the southern side of the city is the Grand Harbour. There are many great vantage points to get fantastic views of the harbour along this southern side of the city, such as in Upper Barrakka or Lower Barrakka Gardens and the walk between these two gardens is highly recommended. #celebrateit #malta #mediterranean

Lower Barrakka Garden is my favourite garden in Valletta and possibly the whole of Malta. Although it’s not as famous as it’s sister garden Upper Barrakka Garden, in my opinion it is just as, if not more, beautiful. On many occasions when I’ve been here, it’s just been me and a few other locals enjoying the peace and serenity and beautiful views of the garden. #celebrateit #malta #mediterranean #garden
