If you’re spending a few days on the island of Gran Canaria and you want to see everything it has to offer, it’s a great idea to spend a day exploring its capital: Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. This is a major city which, in addition to beaches, has plenty of interesting culture, lovely areas for strolling around, and leisure activities to keep you occupied all day.

Here are t
Here are the Playa de Mogan and the village of Firgas. They are located on the island of Gran Canaria located in the Atlantic Ocean. The island is part of #spain even it is closer to Africa than to Europe. The places around the island are accessible only by car so be prepared to rent one if you want to see the beautiful places around.

The Sioux
The Sioux City Park is located on another fabulous island of the Canarias - #grancanaria . This is maybe the main island in the area. The park itself is very a nice copy of the cities in the wild west many years ago. There are also few movies been filmed here.

Gran Canaria: A Surfer’s Dream and More!
#surfing I’m Recommending for September trip to Gran Canaria, ready to surf and explore. Your first stop is Las Canteras Beach, a perfect spot for beginners with gentle waves and a chill vibe. But if you’re after something bigger, head to Playa del Confital or Playa de Vargas, where the waves are strong and epic for seasoned surfers.
After a good surf session, take a break and check out Barranco de las Vacas. The canyon is like a natural sculpture, with stunning rock formations shaped by time. Then, head to Tobas de Colores, where the volcanic rocks look like they’re straight out of a painting.
Gran Canaria’s food is a must-try too—think papas arrugadas (wrinkled potatoes) with mojo, fresh seafood, and local wine. And if you’re looking to relax, Temisas is a peaceful mountain village with great views and tasty olive oil.
Whether you’re catching waves, hiking, or just soaking up the beauty, Gran Canaria has something for everyone. You won’t want to leave!

The story of Sanmao and Gran Canaria.
Sanmao, a person who lived her life as if the "poetry and the distance" in many people's hearts were the most ordinary days. She, who wandered all her life, chose to stay in a small seaside town on Gran Canaria, Spain: Telde. She lived here for many years, and many stories were written on this island. Today, there is still her former residence (p4) on the island.
Another "beautiful island" in the Canary Islands, La Palma, is the last paradise on earth for Sanmao and Jose (p8, Sanmao's former residence Rocamar Apartment 306). Sunshine, beaches, and waves are all available on La Palma. The beautiful La Palma has a deeper feeling and bond for Chinese people because of Sanmao and Jose.
Follow the footsteps of the female writer and embark on the "Sanmao Road" in Spain.

The mainland on one small island
The Mainland on a small island. Sand dunes, canyons, the hermit's house in a crater of a extinct volcano, caves of ancient people of Guanches, "the breathing" sea - all this can be visited in one day in Gran Canaria. Car rental is the most convenient way to move around the island. All the wonders of nature are easily accessible on this island.
El Bufadero de la Garita.
In the small town La Garita on the east part of the island in the municipality of Telde on the beach of la Garita there is a very interesting unique natural phenomenon - the hole in the Rocky ocean. This is a vertical tunnel. This tunnel "is breathing", the water is gradually rises, reaches the peak and than slowly starts to sink. You can see this phenomenon at its full potential only during tidal waves.

The resort is lovely: stunning landscaping, very clean and relaxing. We had no issues during our stay and all the staff we encountered were fantastic.
Food was a real step up from most resorts we have experienced; there was plenty of choice and all good quality. I highly recommend the Unique upgrade here if you can get a deal. The pool rooms were massive with a balcony that includes a shaded seating area, sunbathing area with 2 loungers and a personal infinity pool. The Unique package also provides various other perks like a VIP lounge where drinks and snacks are complimentary between 11-6, VIP pool area with really comfy sunbeds/soft drinks and the choice to have breakfast away from the crowds in a quiet open air restaurant.
Evening entertainment looked good although we didn't really watch any of it for long, there was a good selection of drinks at reasonable prices.
This resort is perfect for those wanting a slightly more adult experience than the typical "all inclusive" resorts provide.
Highly recommended.

Gran Canaria!
A few days away in the sun! Stayed in Las Palmas (after the sand storms!) and visited plenty of new places to eat and drink. Recommend visiting the local beaches and possibly going a little off track and get chatting with the locals. February was a good month to visit!

Nieves Mountains
Spain's Nieves Mountain is located on Gran Canaria Island in the Canary Islands in the Atlantic Ocean. Its highest point is 1,949 meters above sea level. It is of composite volcanic origin. Its slopes are covered with Canary Island pines.
Gran Canaria has the highest altitude in the province of Las Palmas and ranks third among the Canary Islands. Of the other Canary Islands, only Tenerife and La Palma have taller peaks.
Most of the highest areas on the island are military bases, including a large spherical radar. Visitors have access to a platform slightly below the base, from which they can see half of the island and its most unique feature is the Roque Nublo monolith, which is also the second highest peak on the island. You can also see Tenerife Island across the sea and Mount Teide, the highest peak in the archipelago. #Spain #Atlantic Ocean #Gran Canaria #Canary Islands #Mountain #Top of the Mountain #canarias #picodelasnieves

Awesome views!
La Palma de Gran Canarias is a destination where in a single day you can enjoy of exploring the mountains, having amazing views from there, have a typical canarian lunch in a tiny coastal town. During the afternoon you can relax in a beautiful beach and you can end
your day in a rock concert and having a drink in the city again :)

Tenerife i
Tenerife is the largest of the Canary Islands in Spain, with an area of 2053 square kilometers and a triangular shape. The island's climate is known as the "Hengchun Island". The central part of the island is a 20-kilometer-long central mountain range, more than 2,000 meters above sea level, declared a national park. The middle of the
mountain is a huge natural crater. On the north side of the crater is the Teide Peak, which is 3,718 meters above sea level and is the highest mountain in Spain. Snow on the mountains in winter is the most unique natural landscape on the island. The island is full of flowers and green mountains. The main crops are bananas, tomatoes, and potatoes. Most of the coast is rocky and steep, and some are soft golden beaches. Santa Cruz de Tenerife is the capital of the island and the capital. It is built on the gentle slope of the island from the north to the seaside. It has modern hotels, restaurants, snack bars and thousands of large and small shops. The city has a population of 200,000. It is the commercial and tourism center of the whole island and has the reputation of tourism pearl. . The island of Santa Cruz is located in a wide bay surrounded by the cliffs of the Anaga Mountains and is a maritime transport hub to Europe, Africa and the Americas. Oceanic vessels from many countries around the world are here, especially the cruise cruisers here. It is not only the first port of Spanish merchandise trade, but also one of the primary ports for passing ships.
