London transport museum is in Convent Garden. It isn’t a cheap museum at £18.50 per adult and the museum feels small, however, it is really well curated and they pack a lot into a small space. There are lots of authentic old trams, tube trains and buses to see and go inside. There is also lots of memorabilia from staff and passengers. The museum gets very busy on a weekend and on weekdays is nearly always busy with school groups. However, early on a weekday morning you might find a quiet couple of hours to visit. Currently you need to pre book a visit on the museums website to visit because of Covid. There is a also a fantastic museum cafe over looking some of the museum and the best museum gift shop in London. You can buy really cool underground patterned socks and cushions as well as models of some of the exhibits.
