⭐️Review
A famous Nyonya restaurant that I have always wanted to go to! I went there soon after it opened, but there were already many people there. There were also many Japanese tourists. It was understandable that the stylish atmosphere was popular with tourists.
There were many menus that I wanted to try, but since I was alone, I ordered Nyonya laksa, chendol, and cham ice cream for the time being. I was grateful that the order was written on a piece of paper and was served immediately.
The Nyonya laksa may be a little more yellow than other restaurants. The soup is rich and has a mellow coconut milk aroma. The soup contains a mix of Chinese noodles and rice vermicelli, which are well mixed and really delicious. The spiciness is also mild, so I think it is easy for Japanese people to eat. And I was surprised at how many ingredients there were. It was full of volume, with a variety of ingredients such as shrimp, kamaboko, chicken breast, egg, fried tofu, cucumber, and fish balls. I was full. Personally, I was happy that it didn't contain cockles, which I don't like. It's one of the top three Nyonya laksas I've ever eaten.
The cendol was served properly after the meal. In Malaysian restaurants, even if you ask them to bring it after the meal, there is an 80% chance that they will forget to serve it, so I was impressed when the cendol was placed on the table as a matter of course 😂 It was small, but the aroma of coconut milk was good, and there was plenty of gula melaka. I was very satisfied with the high-quality cendol!
The chum I ordered as a drink was properly chilled and rich. I could taste both the tea and coffee, and it was very delicious!
All the dishes were delicious and the staff were kind, so I can understand why it's so popular. The location is good, the price is cheap, and it was a really good experience! I recommend it 👍
