Lao Zi Temple (Lao Zi is the founder of Taoism)
Address: No. Lot 362 KM12, Taman Impian Ku, Darul Makmur, Jln Sungai Lembing, 25200 Kuantan, Pahang, Malaysia
Highlights: Attractive Taoism temple with the longest Dragon Trail in Malaysia and a lot of interesting Chinese statues shipped from China, like deities, fairies, turtles, Terracotta Warriors, really beautiful. You have to begin your walk by entering the dragon tail located just beside the ticket kiosk. The exit is the dragon head. It was said to change your luck by walking the dragon trail! Worth the sweat.
Ticket price is only RM5 per person and it's more like a donation to upkeep the temple. Parking is free. Interestingly there were fresh fruits and vegetables sold by locals in the temple. The dragon fruits were so delicious! Do support the friendly and helpful local people taking care of this old temple.
