The food is a combination of Thai and Western food. It's a perfect combination. The restaurant has complimentary food. It's so cute. We tried ordering Tuna Tartar / Soft-shell crab salad / Soft-shell crab pad thai / Crab cakes. I like it so much. The food is delicious. It's a modern Thai fusion. And the dishes are very big. If you're always doing trips to Phuket for the beach at patong or the same ol bangala street, and island hopping. Here is a new location you need to add on your next visit. Perfect for a sweet getaway with your partner or your friends if you want somewhere more chill and luxury BANGTAO is the way to go. I would compare Bang Tao to Sentosa Cove of singapore but obviously way cheaper – the area we lived in is laguna which is where all the resorts are and the lagoons (you can read my other post about where we stayed!) – and at a walking distance you can visit villa market, boat avenue which is where all the restaurants, night market and supermarket is located at. Within laguna there are free shuttles & ferry that will take you directly from your hotel to the other area of the place which makes travelling around really convenient. The sunset here are amazing with private beach and area to lounge. Along Bang Tao beach there are a lot of beach club for you to grab a drink or snack. The ocean here compared to Patong is definitely blue-er and cleaner but the waves here are a little more intimidating that's for sure. I would describe laguna as a place where you would visit for relaxation and recovery, just before you fly back to singapore. We were only there for 2 nights sadly but I would defo recommend 3-4 nights so you could take your time to try the different restaurants, watch the sunset, visit the beach.

Behind Laguna beach there are several delightful lagoons around which they have built pharaonic villas, hotels and very luxurious condos. I walked around Cassia, a complex of beautiful 4-star buildings, overlooking a lagoon, with gardens and swimming pools. For those staying near the beach, there are beautiful sandy shores to check in and take plenty of sunset photos. And what I'd like to recommend is the not-so-secret Laguna Beach Phuket, which you can easily drive to following GPS or Maps. Traveling is not difficult, and the sunsets are beautiful every day. I guarantee you'll get some beautiful pictures when you come to Phuket.
