We absolutely adored our stay at La Pirogue. The first thing that caught our attention was the breathtaking， impeccably maintained grounds — lush， vibrant， and designed to give you a real sense of space and privacy. Even when the resort was at full capacity， it never felt crowded. An unexpected highlight was the buffet. I usually have reservations about buffet-style dining， but La Pirogue completely won me over. The food quality was consistently excellent， with an impressive variety to cater to every taste. The wine list was equally well curated， offering a great selection to complement each meal. Overall， it’s the kind of place where you can truly unwind. Peaceful， elegant， and easy to enjoy from the moment you arrive.

We stayed at La Pirogue Hotel in Flic-en-flac， right next to its sister property， Sugar Beach—a short walk away. I can't commend this location enough. Whether you're planning a family getaway， a romantic trip， a honeymoon， or a wedding， look no further. It exceeds expectations in every way. Nestled in a colonial setting on one of the most stunning beaches I've ever seen， we lodged in a charming thatched garden bungalow close to all amenities. The staff were simply outstanding. Nothing was too much to ask for. We chose the all-inclusive option and never tired of the food selection across all the dining venues， including Sugar Beach Hotel， where dining is also permitted. The variety for breakfast， lunch， and dinner was plentiful. The food was top-notch， and the drink options were superb. It was comparable to the Maldives but offered much more. The beauty of Mauritius is awe-inspiring. Snorkeling， tennis， table tennis， glass-bottom boat rides， paddleboarding， and pedalos are all complimentary for guests on the all-inclusive package. I highly suggest booking a round at one of the two available golf courses. The kids' club is excellent. Sunbeds are comfortable and abundant—no need for early-morning races to reserve one. The pool areas are delightful. The staff are incredible. Many have been serving guests for over 40 years， which is remarkable. Too many staff to mention by name， but special thanks to Feroze， Anne-Sophie， Vijay， Jake， Jeeuian， and Kamla. If you're contemplating booking a vacation here， stop hesitating and book it. You won't be disappointed.

From the moment we arrived， we sensed we were in for an extraordinary experience—La Pirogue is pure paradise. Breakfast was exceptional， courtesy of the wonderful kitchen staff. Vik， the executive chef， and Faroz， our breakfast host， ensured we felt at home each morning. Dinner at Magenta Restaurant was sheer perfection. Jimmy looked after us， making every meal a highlight. Our room remained immaculate， thanks to the fantastic housekeeping team—we genuinely felt pampered. ★★★★★ – Unquestionably the best experience! Already yearning to return!

It is a four-star hotel, separated from its sister brand Sugar Beach by a wall. The roof is made of simple thatched roof, and the shape is very distinctive. The interior is decorated in Bohemian style. Each room has an outdoor balcony.
