Bali Blooms... especially in April 🌺🌴⚘️🦋🏵
#aprilblooms The most colourful and stunning island in the world has something special to offer you, especially in the blooming month of April. Everywhere you turn tropical wildlife is thriving, Ubud has many luscious jungles and rice fields to lurk in, as well as the Ubud palace and a wealth of temples. In the south of the island, you can visit the stunning temple of Uluwatu, which exists on the edge of a flower endowed coastline. Other attractions on the island which will draw out your wild side include the Sacred Monkey forest which is oozing with natural wildlife, and the Kemunuh Butterfly park, where you can get up close and personal with butterflies and moths.🏖️Ambiance/Facilities: Beaches, a wealth of flora, fauna and wildlife 🐒🦋🌺🌴⚘️, and natural beauty.💞Reasons to Recommend: The beauty of the island and the relaxed atmosphere

AMAZING 5 DAYS HOLIDAY IN BALI.
Amazing Villa with wonderful interior design & warmhearted staff. Kadek is super friendly and helpful.
The pool is incredible & the whole place made to relax.
There is free water, tea & Coffee supply and the kitchen is equiped with everything you need.
As it‘s a bit outside of the city center you might meet some animals & insects and need a scooter or make use of taxi apps like Grab or Gojek. For us it was the perfect stay and we have enjoyed every second.

RESTAURANT WITH HEALTHY INGREDIENTS.
"THIS IS BALI" offers authentic Balinese food and desserts, along with a world-class restaurant experience, right in the center of Ubud. A must-visit for anyone looking to eat in Ubud.
Our restaurant is born from a love of traditional Balinese street food & desserts.
We wanted to create a place where South-East Asian flavors are celebrated using clean, healthy & pure ingredients.
We’ve spent a lot of time developing the THIS IS BALI menu.
Everything is cooked freshly every day using hand-selected, high-quality ingredients, free of MSG, preservatives or additives.
THIS IS BALI truly is a love letter to Bali’s rich tastes and flavors.

A MUST VISIT CAFÉ IN BALI.
As a first-time visitor to Bali, I was blown away by the incredible food scene, and Livingstone Cafe is definitely a must-try.
The restaurant has a beautiful ambiance with lush greenery, live music, and comfortable seating.
The menu was enticing, and everything we ordered was delicious and generous in serving size. Although not on the cheaper side of Bali food prices, the resto still offered value for my money, especially considering the quality of the food and the overall experience.
Beyond the food, the staff were friendly and attentive, making the whole dining experience enjoyable.

ANOM GOLD & SILVER IN KUTA.
I was impressed when I reached at the shop entrance. A guy working in the shop welcomed me with a warm greeting and diverted me to the door behind to show me the very first step of how the jewellery is made.
There was a woman there who was patiently sticking small beads of silver trying to make a silver earing. Inside the shop there was a collection of jewelleries which leaves you stunned of the great work.

Cliffside Spa Retreat: Unwind with Ocean View
When it comes to spa and massages in Bali, there are countless options to choose from. However, imagine a spa experience perched along a cliff, where you not only enjoy a soothing massage but also immerse yourself in the mesmerizing views and the gentle sound of crashing waves. This is the epitome of relaxation!
I highly recommend arriving early to savor a delightful drink at the restaurant, where you can relish the cool breeze while indulging in your favorite beverages and delectable cuisine. It's the perfect prelude to your ultimate pampering session.
One of the highlights of this extraordinary retreat is the infinity pool. Picture yourself immersed in the crystal-clear water, gazing out at the vast expanse of the ocean. The sensation is nothing short of amazing, as you seamlessly blend with the stunning surroundings.
While the massages themselves are incredibly enjoyable, the rhythmic sound of the waves adds an extra layer of tranquility. Don't forget to steal glances at the breathtaking view whenever you can, as it enhances the overall experience.
Prepare for an unforgettable journey that goes beyond massages. This spa also offers exceptional facial treatments, but be sure to book in advance to secure your spot in this oasis of serenity.
Get ready to embark on an unparalleled spa adventure, where the fusion of luxurious relaxation, awe-inspiring vistas, and the symphony of nature's melody will leave you rejuvenated and yearning for more."

Kuta - Bali in a Nutshell
It’s easy to see why Kuta is one of Bali’s most visited area with its bustling night life and super high waves, basically built for surfing. It’s also easy to find cheap eats and non stop parties, making it a popular destination in Bali. My group also had the pleasure of visiting the Kuta Art Market where if you get to really test your bargaining skills to lock down really cheap prices for bags, shirts and just about any type of souvenir you can find to share with your loved ones back home! #exploreasia

Spicy Nights at Warung Nasi Goreng Khas Jakarta Bu Dennis
#asiabudgetchallenge
📸 Destination: Warung Nasi Goreng Khas Jakarta Bu Dennis
💲Budget: ~$5-15 USD per person
🔆 Travel Tip: Hit Warung Nasi Goreng Khas Jakarta Bu Dennis in the evening (6-8 PM) to savor their signature nasi goreng with a fried egg before the late-night crowd arrives. Ask for “sedang” (medium) spice to balance Jakarta’s bold flavors, and pair with a $1 teh tarik from a nearby stall to save on drinks. Take a Grab ride (~$2 USD) from central Kuta for quick access, and bring cash for fast orders.
📝 Notes: Warung Nasi Goreng Khas Jakarta Bu Dennis, located at Jl. Bypass Ngurah Rai No. 88, Kuta, Bali, is about 3 km (10-minute drive) from Kuta’s bustling center and 5 km from Ngurah Rai Airport. This halal eatery, a local favorite, serves Jakarta-style nasi goreng—fragrant fried rice packed with spices, chicken, shrimp, or goat meat, often topped with a sunny-side-up egg (~$2-5). Known for its smoky wok hei flavor, the warung’s open-air setup hums with motorbike traffic and lively chatter, embodying Bali’s street food soul. Fun fact: “Bu Dennis” is a nod to the owner’s nickname, evoking a homey, mama’s-cooking vibe. Expect generous portions, customizable spice levels, and sides like crispy kerupuk (~$0.50). With a 4.5/5 rating on local platforms, it’s praised for affordability and taste but can get crowded post-8 PM. Pair with a visit to Kuta Beach (3 km) for a sunset stroll or nearby Jalan Legian for nightlife. Bring a translation app for the Mandarin/Indonesian menu, and note the lack of parking—scooters are ideal.

Bali Adventures: A Day in Ubud & A Scenic Escape to Nusa Penida 🏝️
#indonesiatrip #travel #balilife #postandearn #myitinerary
Bali, with its rich culture, vibrant landscapes, and warm hospitality, never fails to enchant. On our recent trip, we wanted to make the most of our short stay—so we split our time between a private, customized 1-day tour in Ubud and an unforgettable adventure on the island of Nusa Penida.
Day 1:
We started our Bali journey with a private tour through Ubud. It's the heart of the island's spiritual and artistic culture and a perfect destination if you're short on time but want to soak in everything Bali has to offer.
Our itinerary was full but balanced. We visited three breathtaking temples, took a thrilling ride on the iconic jungle swing, and strolled through the Ubud Market, where we picked up handmade souvenirs and enjoyed local street snacks.
One of the highlights? A tasting of local teas and coffees, including the infamous kopi luwak. We also had lunch with a view at a serene local restaurant, which offered not only delicious Balinese cuisine but also sweeping views of rice terraces—perfect for a mid-day recharge.
If you're planning to do this tour, wear comfortable shoes, carry a sarong for temple visits, and don't forget your water and sunscreen—Bali’s midday heat can be intense!
Day 2:
The next day, we hopped over to Nusa Penida, a ruggedly beautiful island off Bali’s southeast coast. Renting a vehicle gave us the freedom to explore the island at our own pace, and our main goal was clear: Kelingking Beach.
You’ve probably seen photos of Kelingking’s cliffside view—it looks like a T-Rex head hugging a hidden beach. But nothing prepares you for seeing it in real life. It was absolutely breathtaking.
We made our way to the viewpoint and stood in awe of the dramatic cliffs and turquoise waters far below. While it’s tempting to head straight down to the beach, be warned: the trail is steep, rocky, and physically demanding. If you’re up for the challenge, the payoff is a peaceful beach with clear blue water and soft white sand—but be prepared with good footwear, water, and plenty of stamina.
Final Thoughts
Splitting our trip between Ubud and Nusa Penida gave us a beautiful balance of Bali’s serene cultural side and its wild coastal beauty. From temple blessings and jungle swings to cliffside hikes and hidden beaches, we left with unforgettable memories—and a strong urge to return and discover more.

Sunset Whispers at Kuta Beach – Where Hearts Slow Down Together
As the sun slowly sank into the horizon at Kuta Beach, it felt like time paused — just for a while — to let the sky paint its love letter in shades of gold, pink, and soft orange. ✨
Hand in hand or simply heart in peace, it’s the kind of view that makes you believe in quiet magic.
Waves lapped gently at the shore, as if applauding the beauty above. The breeze? Like a soft reminder that some moments are meant to be felt, not rushed.
No filters, no rush, just the sound of the ocean and the warmth of the setting sun — the kind of evening you wish you could bottle up and keep forever. 💫
Kuta, thank you for the kind of sunset that holds your gaze… and your heart.

Coffee above the waves in Kuta
#cityplaybook
On a recent visit to Kuta, I discovered Expat. Roasters on the rooftop of Beachwalk Shopping Center.
The café had a minimalist design, featuring concrete accents and an open layout, created a relaxed atmosphere.
Their espresso drinks typically came with their signature Nomad house blend, which was round and balanced—though to me it’s somewhat lacking in acidic character. They have around six more types of bean to choose from, but it would cost almost double the price.
If you could get the outdoor seat (while not minding the heat), sipping a cuppa while overlooking the ocean from the rooftop seating would be quite a serene thing to do in Kuta.

Steamy pork ribs in Kuta wooden shack
#cityplaybook
During my recent trip to Kuta, I was looking for places to have a promising pork ribs without breaking the bank and getting too full.
Strolling on the street, I stumbled upon R&B Kitchen & Bar on Jl. Benesari, and it met all of my needs.
Despite the unassuming exterior, I was warmly welcomed by a smile from EVERY single staff in the store from the reception to chef standing in the open kitchen. The hospitality was remarkable.
The pork ribs were as expected: tender and flavorful; one thing that made it different from most of the pork ribs elsewhere was that the ribs used were lower in fat, which is lovely for those who want some but not too much of fat flavors in their ribs. And the sauce was poured right in front of me, which created another yet memorable dining experience.
I introduced this place to another traveler that I met in the trip, and he enjoyed the ribs more than I did.

Timeless Ambiance and Tangy Bliss
#indonesiatrip
Hidden gems like this cafe are what make trips so special. The vintage-inspired decor, filled with intricate details and a cozy layout, instantly made me feel at home. The floral arrangements and festive ornaments added a touch of charm that made the space even more inviting.
Their Tangerine Spritz stole the show for me. The fresh, tangy citrus flavor was invigorating, and the presentation was stunning, down to the tiny decorative touches. It’s the kind of drink that leaves you refreshed and satisfied.
What I loved most was how the cafe combined aesthetics and comfort so seamlessly. It’s the perfect place to slow down, unwind, and just enjoy the moment. Highly recommend it for anyone looking for a unique cafe experience!
