Kawagoe Tea House Coeur a Coeur] A popular tea specialty shop in Kawagoe. They carry a wide range of teas and have unique menu items such as tea floats and shakes. The shop had a tasteful atmosphere and was full of people. I ordered royal milk tea and scones. I was grateful that the royal milk tea was not sweet. It was a masterpiece with a rich taste and the aroma of tea. The scones were fluffy and different from what I expected, but the taste itself was delicious. It was also served with clotted cream, which was great to eat with plenty of it! [2. Toshino Coffee] A coffee shop that is perfect to stop by while walking around Kawagoe! The friendly staff were kind and helpful, and they were happy to give me advice when I bought coffee. In addition to buying beans, you can also purchase drip bags, making it a perfect shop for those looking for souvenirs. They also sell take-out drinks, so please stop by! I booked with trip for a airtix from Singapore to Japan then Korea back to Singapore. First the heavy snow at Korea delayed the flight by 6 hours. Then just the night before we were going to Seoul, martial law was announced. Some train trip were affected and my return trip train from Busan to Seoul was cancelled. luckily I booked through Trip and there was a chat function which helps a lot when you are a foreign country and not knowing their luggage. I took advantage of the China National Day holiday to return to Japan with my wife. On a whim, I took the Seibu Shinjuku Line to Kawagoe in Saitama for the first time. We read and listened to the anecdotes of Eiichi Shibusawa, and finished off with a bowl of eel rice from Hayashiya.

It's a short walk from the station, but as you walk, you'll see a completely different view from the everyday scenery, full of traditional Japanese atmosphere. It's so relaxing, and you'll want to take pictures without even thinking. Kawagoe is also rich in delicious food, so I especially recommend eating your way around. I recommend the small bakeries Imokoi and Rakuraku, which are delicious, but they're popular and always crowded! There are also many different shops selling chopsticks, chopstick rests, tableware, pickles, and more, so you'll never get bored. The scenery changes with the seasons, and it's worth seeing.

Since it requires strength, it's important for women and children to choose softer wood recommended by the staff 💡 You can make them without failure because you put the wood you chose into the shape and carve it ~ The staff was very kind and taught me, so I was able to make them with peace of mind!
