Recommended Food in Sham Shui Po
I've been to Hong Kong many times, and this time I finally made it to Sham Shui Po. I ate at three of their bakeries, and they were all delicious!!
Red Cherry Bread
They have several branches in Hong Kong, selling Hong Kong-style bread. I bought an egg tart with a cookie crust, and they also have a puff pastry crust. The egg tart was delicious, with a fragrant filling. The flavor of egg and milk filled my mouth with a slight sweetness, not greasy at all. It was truly delicious.
Junxiang Bakery
Located in Sham Shui Po, they sell a variety of Chinese pastries. This time I only bought the peanut-flavored glutinous rice cakes. Each one was super large and made to order. I bought them in the morning and ate them that night. The crust was thin and the fillings were generous. It was absolutely delicious, a flavor you'll miss.

Kung Wo Bean Products Factory
This is a specialty bean product store with a very cute decor. The walls depict the traditional bean product-making process. I ordered Kung Wo Three Treasures, frozen tofu pudding, and rice noodle rolls. The Gonghe Three Treasures consists of tofu, fried bean curd, and fish curd. The golden tofu tastes ordinary, while the fried bean curd is crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, with every bite bursting with fishy flavor. The fish curd has a distinctive tangerine peel flavor.
I ordered the sugar-free frozen tofu pudding, a Gonghe Bean Products Factory specialty, with a rich bean flavor and a smooth texture.
The rice rolls are topped with peanut butter and sesame paste and are surprisingly delicious.
