#newyearnewtrip Spent 2024 and 2025 (well, I mean the last day of 2024 and first day of 2025) with KSL Hotel and Resort which is very conveniently located near KSL City Mall. We had booked the triple room consisting of one single bed and one queen bed. While we had issues with the shower head as the water was spraying in two different directions instead of one, and the room does not have good soundproofing as we can hear the fireworks even when they were far away, the room was clean and nicely fits the 3 of us. The facilities were pretty decent with a swimming pool, gym and games room which had billiards tables and table tennis tables to entertain guests of all ages.

Welcome to my room tour at KSL Resort Hotel and this is their rooms located at Tower 2. My room has a pool facing view and a triple size bed good for 2 persons. The room is spacious and have plenty of space. There is no bathtub in this room and it is ok with me, I prefer taking quick shower. There is water kettle and fridge in this room. As for their TV, you can also cast your phone or use their built-in apps to log in and stream shows. I’ve always been into massages due to my backpain. I’ve tried massages in the different cities in Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Malaysia. But this massage spa in Johor Bahru is hands down the best I’ve ever tried. It is located in the KSL hotel and resort. They are open from 10am - 2am. Price ranges from RM30 - RM168. They offer 30 minutes to 120 minutes massages. The first time I tried it I was already feeling super satisfied. Then I saw the ksl event workers start to clear the usual clothing booth away. At first, I thought the clothing booths are close. But during the next day, when I went down for lunch I saw mid autumn festival decorations at the centre of the shopping mall. The event workers work very fast as they finish there job during the evening. Then, lots of mooncske booth start to set up and arrange there moon cake for selling. one of the special design moon cake box is the Chinese tower gift box. It has 3 components same as 3 layers of the tower.From the top, the first layer of the tower is tea leaves,the second layer is the 公仔饼 and the third layer is the moon cake. KSL Resort Johor Bahru City Centre Address: 33, Jalan Seladang, Taman Abad, 80250 Johor Bahru, Johor, Malaysia I am going to plan a trip back again soon. Yes I checked in during the long labour day weekend. I am happy to be back in JB. Everything seemed to remain as-is. KSL Resort JB still looks the same and I got a free upgrade to their triple bed room at Tower 1. The shops inside KSL are also open for business. The ladies can get their hair, nails and facial done. The men can get their proper massages. Even in the basement, there is a new addition of a food court style market. The cinema has changed name to Golden Screen and I also managed to watch a movie in Cantonese. The dinosaur theme pool was also open for guests and many kids went there. So it is business as usual at KSL. Even the public bus from KSL to JB Sentral is also in operation. KSL hotel is one of the most popular hotel in Johor. Stayed there for 2 nights . The room is spacious and swimming pool has dinosaur activity park which what I like about. The view from the guest room is good where u can get to see the view of Johor district. Besides that this hotel has many facilities such as gym, spa, entertainment centre, game machines etc. Right below this hotel is one of the biggest shopping mall name KSL Mall . This mall sells many phone accessories, mobile phones, soft toys, ladies/Men wear, shoes, bags at a bargain price . Various restaurants, cafes , Tesco supermarket and street food there. Many public buses, shuttle bus, taxi and various private hired cars available . Best place to visit in Johor Bahru Malaysia. Today I want to share a personal review of staying at KSL Hotel & Resort Johor Bahru. This is not the first time we have stayed here. Last weekend I stayed here, this time we chose the same hotel. Apart from the reasonable price, it is a child-friendly hotel.

The pool is very decently-sized and there is also the dinosaur water theme park for the children. Highlights - KSL Hotel & Resort Johor Bahru is an integrated hospitality, residential and retail development, located in of course, Johor Bahru. KSL Hotel & Resort Johor Bahru is just a short 10 mins drive away from the causeway from Singapore. It is also a mere 30 mins drive from legoland theme park. The hotel itself consists of two towers, namely tower one and tower two. Connected right next to the hotel is the shopping mall that provides a long list of options for dining, fashion, entertainment and services. Many Singaporeans, including myself will make a trip here for their very affordable hair and nail services, massage, groceries shopping etc.. Next is the optical shops that have a wide selection of frames and charges very reasonable prices. And the best thing is, you can collect your spectacles within 30 mins! If you start to feel hungry, fret not, there is a wide selection of food in this mall, such as sushi, kfc, four seasons cafe, gong cha, jco etc.... But if you feel a little adventurous, there are several small eateries/ coffeeshops just right across the mall which serves equally good food. Avg. Price per Person - $50 Rating - 8/10
