Kobe City Oji Zoo
Kobe Municipal Prince Zoo
Transportation Guide -
Take the JR Kobe Line to "Tada Station" or Hankyu Electric Railway to "Prince Park Station" and walk for 5-10 minutes. If you drive, there is a paid parking lot in the park, but it is often full on holidays, so it is recommended to arrive early.
local attractions -
One of the popular zoos in Kansai, the most famous is the giant panda! There are also polar bears, penguins, lions, etc. There are quite a lot of animal species. The park is not too big, comfortable to walk around, and has a mini playground for kids. The best part is the cheap entrance fee (600 yen for adults), high CP value!
hotel-
There is a business hotel "Minoya Tokyu REI Hotel" nearby, about 15 minutes walk to the zoo, convenient location. If you want to be a little more luxurious, you can stay at the Kobe Merrill Park Oriental Hotel on the edge of Kobe Harbor, which is about 20 minutes by car.
Food & Restaurants -
There are simple snack kiosks in the park selling hot dogs, ice cream and more. It is recommended to walk to the nearby "Tada Gogo" to drink sake, or to eat Kobe beef around Kobe Sannomiya Station, super!
Shopping Guide -
The zoo gift shop sells panda peripherals, but there’s not much choice. For shopping, it is recommended to take a bus near Sannomiya Station, where there is a Daimaru Department Store and an underground street, and you can buy Kobe-exclusive souvenirs!
Rating - 4/5 ⭐️
Perfect for parent-child trips or animal lovers, the transportation is convenient and affordable, but the facilities are a bit old, don’t expect too much! #Kobe
