5 diving spots on Koh Tao 🐢🦈🐠
This post, we will talk about the diving trip by Oxygen Tour Koh Tao.
I was lazy again. The trip was supposed to be a full day, but we chose a half-day trip. LOL After having breakfast at the resort, we waited for the Oxygen car to pick us up at 11:00 to go to the Oxygen office.
The two of us were the first group to arrive (I dare to call it a group 😅). We were greeted warmly by a woman and “Phi Ball”, the person who would lead the diving tour today. Phi Ball briefly explained where we were going and said that there was an entrance fee to Koh Nang Yuan for 40 baht per person. Oh my! We left the resort thinking that it would be free for the whole trip. There was nothing to do. We didn’t need to bring a lot of stuff. So we took 100 baht with us. LOL After paying the entrance fee for 2 people, other groups of people started to arrive. They were all foreigners. There was one Thai person. Let’s go!
This trip, there were 3 staff members: Phi Ball, Phi Wut (sorry for the misspelling), and the captain. During the trip, they taught us how to use the diving equipment and explained the rules and regulations.
🌊Dive site 1, Koh Nang Yuan
This island does not allow fins (diving fins) to be used for diving because it can damage the coral reefs. Plastic water bottles are also prohibited on the island. If you are thirsty or hungry, there are shops on the island.
🌊Dive site 2
Before reaching the next dive site, it was time for lunch. We each got a box of food that was not too spicy because it was probably made for foreigners to eat.
🌊Dive site 3
This time, we stopped to eat some fresh fruit. 🍍🍉 This dive site allows you to jump into the water because it is quite deep. Most people go diving with Phi Wut. My boyfriend and I sat on the boat and took pictures. There were 2-3 foreigners who went up to the upper floor of the boat and jumped into the water and had fun.
🌊Dive site 4
This time, they served panna cotta. Wow! 😋 It was so delicious. I wanted to ask for several more cups. 55555 At this point, I intended not to go down again. But Phi Wut insisted on going to see the beauty. Phi Wut brought a floating buoy for us to hold on to so that we wouldn't get tired. In the end, Phi Wut was so tired that his eyes were wide open because so many people came to hold on to it. 5555
🌊Dive spot 5
This dive spot is at the back of Sai Daeng Resort where we were staying. I secretly asked the staff if we could just swim back to the resort. 5555 No, no, because we were under their care and responsibility. Hehe. This time, we saw 3 huge sharks, no need to be upset. 🦈🦈🦈 But I didn't take any pictures. All the cameras' batteries were dead. Oh no! Phi Wut really said that if we had come yesterday, we would have seen turtles too. Because today's weather was bad, the water was murkier. We missed out.
✨ The diving trip was over. When the boat reached the shore, there was a car waiting to take us to the resort. Today was so much fun. I have to thank Phi Ball and Phi Wut for taking such good care of us, the new kids. And thank myself for not being too lazy to drag my body on this trip. It was a really good experience. 🥰
