Travel Guide Malaysia - Langkawi - Koh Lipe: Fly to Langkawi first, then take a 2-hour ferry to Koh Lipe. The ferry is air-conditioned, the ride is smooth and not prone to seasickness, and the immigration process is relatively quick. Bangkok - Hat Yai - Koh Lipe: Fly from Bangkok to Hat Yai, then take a car and ferry combo for about 2 hours, followed by a 2-hour ferry ride to Koh Lipe. However, this route is prone to rough seas, so remember to bring seasickness medication. Phuket - Koh Lipe: Depart from Rassada Pier in Phuket, take a 2.5-hour ferry to Koh Lanta, then take another 2.5-hour ferry to Koh Lipe. 2. Departing from Bangkok to Hat Yai takes about 1.30 minutes. Then take a van from Hat Yai Airport to the pier for about 2 hours. From the pier to Koh Lipe for another 2 hours, the officer will take you to stop at Koh Kuru Tao before traveling to the island. It takes about 4-5 hours. The journey is quite long but worth it. Beautiful sandy beach, beautiful island But the way back is the same because I didn't stop as much as I came. Each beach has its own unique features. 🌤️ We chose to stay on the Pattaya Beach side, which is where most boats dock. It is livelier than the other beaches, has a walking street, and bars, perfect for nightlife. If you are a party animal, we recommend staying on this side. 🌤️ Sunrise Beach is the beach we took a car to in the morning. I must say that it is very beautiful and peaceful. (The cover photo is the Sunrise side.) The popular bar Sodiac is also on this side. 🌤️ Sunset Beach is a quiet beach. It is not as beautiful as the first 2 beaches, and there are relatively few accommodations, so people do not usually go to this side. But no matter which side of the beach, I must say that Koh Lipe is very beautiful. Every beach is beautiful, every corner is beautiful. After not going to the sea for a long time, today we went to the southern sea. That is Koh Lipe, everyone. We flew to Hat Yai Airport and took a van from the airport to the pier and then took a boat to Koh Lipe. When we arrived at Koh Lipe, it was clearly heaven, everyone. As it is located very near to Malaysian border, it can be easily access by speedboat transfer from langkawi island. It is about 40km plus distance and normally took 1 hour 30 minute time to reach this paradise island. Speedboat/ferry terminal in langkawi is at telaga terminal which is located in pantai Kok. As for ticket price it cost RM290 for return boat transfer. Be aware that only limited departure available only during peak season in Koh Lipe. As this island is not that big, it is possbile to walk across one end to the other end. So it would be perfect for sunrise and sunset seeker as you can see both in this island. Like other island, it is always recommended to do island hopping to small island nearby in this Tarutao Marine National Park. lots of tour agency available around the main road of lipe island. As for accomodation, a lot of different option ranging from budget hotel to the luxurious beachfront resort. There is a tunnel arch that is believed that any couple who takes a photo here will have a long-lasting love.
