2km wide Island in Thailand
Koh Lipe is a small, stunning island in the Andaman Sea that’s perfect for a relaxing getaway. The crystal-clear waters are ideal for diving and snorkeling, with vibrant coral reefs teeming with marine life. I loved taking snorkel tours around the nearby islands—each stop had something unique, from colorful fish to peaceful beaches. The diving experience was unforgettable, with dramatic underwater scenery and an abundance of sea creatures like turtles and rays.
But beyond the water, Koh Lipe has a chill, laid-back vibe. I spent lazy afternoons on the soft, white sand beaches, soaking up the sun and watching the gorgeous sunsets. There are plenty of cozy beach bars and restaurants to unwind, offering a mix of Thai and international cuisine. It’s the kind of place where time slows down, and you can truly disconnect and enjoy the simplicity of island life.

🌴 Thailand's Top Attractions: Island Wonders & Aquatic Adventures 🏖️🐠
Feeling the island breeze and soaking up the sun in Phuket has been an absolute dream! Here's the lowdown on the must-visit spots that made my trip unforgettable:
📍 Samui Island, Surat Thani, Thailand 🏝️
A tropical gem where the coconut trees sway and the sea beckons. Samui Island isn't just stunning; it's a vibe. From kayaking to jet-skiing, and even banana boating, there's no shortage of fun on Bo Phut Beach. And the airport? It's an open-air marvel where planes soar up close!
📍 Similan Islands, Phang-nga, Thailand 🐢
Dive into paradise at the Similan Islands, open from October 16 to May 14. These islands are a snorkeler's dream with vibrant coral reefs and a kaleidoscope of marine life. The blue-green waters are a swimmer's delight, and the local hospitality is as warm as the Thai sun.
📍 Ko Lipe, Satun, Thailand 🌅
Ko Lipe stole my heart with its crystal-clear waters and delectable street food. Whether you're lounging on Sunrise Beach or exploring the Walking Street, this island is a slice of heaven. Don't miss out on snorkeling - the underwater world here is simply magical.
📍 Koh Khai Nok, Phang-nga, Thailand 🐠
This tiny island is a big deal with its clear waters and friendly feline residents. Perfect for a half-day excursion, Koh Khai Nok offers a serene escape with snorkeling spots that showcase the colorful aquatic life.
📍 Ko Phi Phi Don, Krabi, Thailand 🌞
The bustling island life of Ko Phi Phi Don is a stark contrast to its peaceful beaches. A national park since 1983, it's a sun-lover's paradise with activities like diving, snorkeling, and even parasailing. The sunset views here are absolutely mesmerizing.
📍 Maya Bay, Thailand 🌊
Maya Bay is a world-renowned beauty spot that's bounced back brilliantly after a restoration break. Visit on a sunny day to see the shimmering waters and marine life at their best. Just remember, swimming is off-limits, but the view alone is worth the trip.
These spots in Phuket have left an indelible mark on my wanderlust soul. Can't wait to return to this island paradise!

If you've watched Hollywood movies 🎬, you might recognize this hotel a bit 😆 LIPE BEACH RESORT.
On the beach 🏖, the wooden chair with a heart 💗 shape is its signature, many people take photos with it, don't miss it.
This seemingly simple hotel has its own unique characteristics 😆 Consider giving it a try.

Koh Lipe or Lipe island is a beautifull island in the Andaman sea and part of National marine park which is known for its coral rich water.
As it is located very near to Malaysian border, it can be easily access by speedboat transfer from langkawi island. It is about 40km plus distance and normally took 1 hour 30 minute time to reach this paradise island.
Speedboat/ferry terminal in langkawi is at telaga terminal which is located in pantai Kok. As for ticket price it cost RM290 for return boat transfer. Be aware that only limited departure available only during peak season in Koh Lipe.
As this island is not that big, it is possbile to walk across one end to the other end. So it would be perfect for sunrise and sunset seeker as you can see both in this island.
Like other island, it is always recommended to do island hopping to small island nearby in this Tarutao Marine National Park. lots of tour agency available around the main road of lipe island.
As for accomodation, a lot of different option ranging from budget hotel to the luxurious beachfront resort. Advance booking is advisable as this island can be pretty crowded during peak season period.

Very far from the pier, about 2 hours on speedboat but this place is unique. Water is clear and lots of quiet area to be away from people. Great snorkle spots and so many diving sites if you love scuba diving. More tourists each year and hopefully the island keep it clean. #merrychristmas

2019 must be punched [Thailand] new island - Libe Island (commonly known as Thai Pony)
Today I will tell you the most hot Libe Island Koh Lipe! ! As a person who went to Thailand no less than ten times, I even missed this beautiful island!
Libe Island has the title of Thai Pony Generation. Because the sea is particularly beautiful, there are very few tourists, so this time I choose to come here with my boyfriend to see
and then! ! !
is beautiful! !
Unlike the excitement of other islands in Thailand (Sumei, Pippi, Phangan, Tao, Phuket), Lipe Island is very quiet and the water is super clean! Its all over the place, its probably because of the development, there are not many tourists, so there is no pollution
.
traffic:
domestic-Hai Ai (the middle needs to transit in Bangkok or other cities) / Hh / Hat Yai - Lipe Island (about 1 hour by boat, there are boats every day, mfw can be fixed on the ticket)
.
Hotel:
Libe Island is not big, points For three areas: Sunrise Beach, Sunset Beach, Pattaya Beach
I think Sunrise Beach is the most beautiful, I recommend you book a hotel in this area
specific hotel introduction I will write next ~
.
Play:
The biggest and biggest advantage of this island is that it is very quiet, very suitable for couples to come on holiday, or bring parents to
basically every hotel has a scratch The boat is loaned to the guests, because there are many uninhabited islands near Lipe Island (very close, you can row your own boat), look at corals and small fish
there are various day trips to sign up Because there is a national marine park nearby, there are many dive sites, no islands, and there is a Monkey Beach. There are many little monkey fun
we pack a half-day boat (only two of us) price of around 400-500rmb
The island also has a bar decorated very nice! ! (Picture 2) Called Sea La Vie, at Sunrise Beach, drinking and listening to music while watching the sea during the day, its just too pleasant.
.
Food:
Although this Island development is relatively late, but! ! ! Thailand's strong tourism industry is still not able to achieve! They have a Walking Street, all small restaurant shops, all kinds of 7-11, and most of them can be used when I went to Alipay
Chinese food, but there are many delicious Thai restaurants
There are two Western restaurants recommended! Very tasty!
Elephant Caf and Cafe Tropical, the western food is very authentic!
Viotta.
Take a photo to commemorate: Use a camera to capture your wonderful time on the island and leave unforgettable memories
💙Blue blue seaside I will drown in such an atmosphere!😁😁😁
Time was tight, only stayed on Lipe Island for three days, very reluctant to leave! Already planning to come back for the next holiday, definitely staying longer to fully enjoy the leisure of vacation.
( ˊ ᵕ ˋ 💦) Lipe Island is known as the 'Little Maldives of Thailand'. When the weather is good and the sun is shining, the blue sea is incredibly beautiful. The whole island has a relaxed atmosphere. You can watch the sunrise and sunset on the beach, kayak out to sea, enjoy food, massages, and buy souvenirs on the walking street, or book a snorkeling or sea fishing trip.
The most leisurely thing is to lie on the beach of the resort all day, and you can snorkel freely!
( ˊ ᵕ ˋ 💦) Lipe Island mainly has Sunrise Beach, Sunset Beach, Pattaya Beach, and a walking street that integrates eating, drinking, and entertainment. All locations on the island can be reached by a small car for 50💰 per person.
🌅Sunrise Beach: Comfortable and leisurely, suitable for snorkeling🥰, playing in the water💧, long-tail boat docking point, many boats will be parked on the beach, 🚶🏻♀️ about a five-minute walk to Lipe Island walking street, it is recommended to go to Sunrise Beach around 6:30 to watch the sunrise and sunset🌇 Beach or Tail Beach.
🌆Go to Sunset Beach in the evening to watch the sunset by the sea. Tail Beach is located north of Sunrise Beach and can also watch the sunset. It is recommended to order a drink at a seaside bar for a leisurely and relaxing moment.
( ˊ ᵕ ˋ 💦) Pattaya Beach: The busiest beach on the island, close to the walking street, with many bars on the beach at night. The wooden walkway at the westernmost end of Pattaya Beach offers a view of the entire Pattaya Beach. Walking to the end of the path leads to the secret Sanom Beach.
·Walking Street
🍱Food recommendations: Elephant Restaurant, Papayamom Restaurant, La-moon Lipe fruit smoothies... Ate at many places, all affordable and delicious. There are also many Thai massage places along the street. Later updates will include resort choices, perfect sunrise and sunset viewing spots, beach bar recommendations...

And countless hermit crabs on the beach.

In this isolated island, every day is a discovery about beauty. Koh Lipe weaves everyone's dream of an island with its untouched purity. Although three days are short, they are enough to make this beauty a lasting memory. When the sea breeze gently blows and the stars dot the night sky, you will know that this is the sea in your heart. Looking forward to meeting each of you who loves life in Koh Lipe.

Libei Island | Found a beach where you can stand and watch the fish
You can bring children to see the fish🐠 Yes, standing up you can see the silver scissor-tailed fish. Walk to Libei Island Pattaya Beach, face the sea, and keep walking to the end on your left hand side. Before 11 am, there are few people, swimming and snorkeling is too comfortable!
That area is really piu bright, with a beach hotel behind it. Before 11 am, there is shade from the trees on the beach, take a blanket and sit under the tree shade for two hours, watching the sea and swimming, such a beautiful time should be spent like this.
The sky is blue, the sea is green, I am free, any moment of heart flutter is not easy, do not neglect it. Libei Island

The hidden gem of Southern Thailand, the Castle of a Thousand Stones in the Andaman Sea
🌟 Highlights:
Prasat Hin Pan Yod, which means 'Castle of a Thousand Stones' in Thai, is a spectacular formation of over a thousand massive boulders. These grand limestone monoliths are one of Thailand's significant geological relics. The Castle of a Thousand Stones is part of the Satun Geopark, which was designated as a Global Geopark by UNESCO in 2018.
💰 Average cost per person:
A day trip costs 800 Thai Baht. We chartered a boat for 6 people for 9,900 Thai Baht. Remembering the yacht in Seychelles that cost 800 euros without meals, Thailand truly is the king of cost-performance.
🗓 Itinerary:
This attraction must be accessed by boat 🚣 during low tide. You can also see huge jellyfish 🪼 in the water. Nearby, there's a long sandbar 'Dragon's Backbone' that only appears at low tide. If you're still not satisfied, you can go hiking and search for ancient fossils dating back 450 million years.
📝 Tips:
In Thailand, flying a drone requires prior registration and application. Each national park requires a separate application. Flying without permission can result in hefty fines or even imprisonment.

Sharing my travel experiences in Thailand
Flight✈️: Choosing a direct flight is very relaxing, and the prices vary. Most tourists will first arrive in Bangkok and then transfer to domestic flights within Thailand. As for the price, there are several direct flight routes between China and Thailand. For example, Hainan Airlines, Air China, and China Southern Airlines offer cheaper prices the earlier you book, with more time slots available. Thai Airways and Bangkok Airways have direct flights that require good price references, but these two airlines are Thailand's prestigious carriers, offering spacious and comfortable seating😌. Then there are connecting flights, with Macau and Cathay Pacific being highly recommended for their ample space, numerous flights, and included meals that are especially delicious . Next are the budget airlines, such as Thai Vietjet, Nok Air, and Asia Air, which offer no water, no meals, and cramped red-eye flights.
Shopping: In Bangkok, you can find almost anything you want. Brand names are all in the city center, with a plethora of large shopping malls where you can also get tax refunds. For tax refund documents under 5000 baht, you no longer need to get a stamp at the airport and queue; you can directly take the document to get the refund. However, the amount is not that significant. For local products, you can choose King Power or Big C supermarkets, which also offer tax refunds for purchases over 2500 baht per receipt.
Island Hopping: Skip Phuket and Krabi, as they are crowded, expensive, and you might get ripped off by fellow countrymen! Consider Koh Samui or Koh Lipe instead, where the scenery is pleasant, but prices are slightly higher. For scuba diving, head to Koh Tao, accessible by speedboat from Koh Samui. For snorkeling, Koh Lipe is unbeatable, with the most beautiful coral reefs in Asia, a diver's paradise!
Dining: Thai food is not expensive, although the portions might be small. The key is that the prices are low, so ordering more is definitely not a problem. Chinese food is generally not very authentic, unless you are in Bangkok, where there are many good Chinese restaurants. Western food is also a main feature, as there are many foreign tourists, making Western restaurants popular. However, everyone knows that foreigners tend to order less and spend more time dining, so the restaurants may not earn much! There are night markets everywhere, which are a good choice for us, offering a variety of options, avoiding the issue of different tastes, and the prices are definitely cheap enough to make you cry. In Bangkok, you can also dine in malls, where the food courts offer reasonable prices.
Transportation in Thailand: Bangkok has severe traffic jams, so if you know some English, it's recommended to use the subway, which is fast and convenient. If you are on an island, you can take a taxi; hotels usually have taxis available at the entrance, but remember that taxis don't use meters and you need to bargain. You can also rent a motorcycle, which costs a few hundred baht per day and is popular among most foreigners. Lastly, there are tuk-tuks and motorcycle taxis, which are more dangerous and also require bargaining!
Entertainment: Thailand is a tourist country, and visitors come here with different purposes. Some love outdoor activities, such as swimming, hiking, diving🤿, etc., and island hopping can make such trips more enriching. You can also enjoy a local day tour on the islands and have a lot of fun. Other tourists come for shopping and leisure, which can be done in Bangkok. Bangkok is more concentrated and has the most suitable prices! For those who enjoy the nightclub culture, Bangkok is the place to be, you know what I mean😏, no need to elaborate!
Currency Exchange: It's recommended to exchange currency in your home country before traveling abroad, as the exchange rate is not as good locally. The best currency exchange bank in Thailand is the green SuperRich, but even their rates are lower than in China. It's more favorable to have US dollars.
These are my recent experiences in Thailand, and I hope friends who enjoy it will follow me! I will share more travel insights later

Koh Lipe in Thailand will satisfy all your desires for an island
Koh Lipe is a small island located in the southernmost part of Thailand. It's a bit of a hassle to get there from Bangkok, requiring a six-hour journey by sea, land, and air (not including waiting time), but it's only a two-hour boat ride from Langkawi in Malaysia. No matter how you get there, the moment you arrive on Koh Lipe, you'll feel that it was all worth it.
The sea water is clear and transparent, the legendary jelly sea, snorkeling can see pink coral, a variety of colorful tropical fish, and the prices on the island are relatively uniform, not particularly expensive. Lying on the beach every day is already satisfying

An experience you can't miss in Lirebei - fresh catch and eat
Set off at 10 a.m., follow the boat captain and start the fishing mode in Lirebei Island. In less than two hours, we have a full catch: grouper, parrotfish, triggerfish... and many other fish that we can't name! 🐠
Fishing is fun, and it's even more satisfying to enjoy the delicacy you caught yourself!
The boat captain took us and our full load of fish to their residential island. We rested in a grass shed on the shore. The captain cleaned all the fish, marinated them, lit a charcoal fire, and started grilling... The sea breeze came with the smell of charcoal smoke and grilled fish - so fragrant! Suddenly, I felt really hungry!
Various grilled fish were served, and the aroma was overwhelming! The captain also brought a plate of sashimi, which turned out to be triggerfish sashimi, what a surprise! Usually in the sea, we are attacked by triggerfish inadvertently, but it's quite delicious when it becomes sashimi!
Grilled fish, sashimi, paired with the chili powder I brought, this meal is 'absolutely perfect' in Chengdu dialect!
High-end ingredients often only need the simplest cooking methods, fresh catch and eat is the best!

Thailand 🇹🇭 Koh Libong‼️ It's perfect for retirement here~
Life on Libei Island is just too leisurely.
Lie on the beach chair by the sea and daydream.
Play with the puppy, or choose to go snorkeling, boating, or surfing.
On the island, there are also commercial streets, restaurants, and Thai massages 💆.
Watch the sunrise 🌅 Watch the sunset 🌄
I really want to retire here...

Koh Lipe, the Maldives of Thailand 🇹🇭, the ceiling of Thai island beaches.
Thai island ceiling, you will really regret if you don't come, regret why you didn't discover this fairy island earlier! This sea is really too beautiful 🥳!
1️⃣Transportation ✈️
It takes 2 hours from Hat Yai to the pier, and then another 2 hours by boat to the island. If you arrive at Hat Yai airport early in the morning, you can take a car directly from the airport to the pier without going to the city. You can buy a car and boat ticket from Hat Yai to Koh Lipe on a certain online shopping platform, which costs about 180 RMB per person for one way. If you are on Phuket Island or nearby islands, you can also take a boat directly to Koh Lipe, which takes about 7 hours.
2️⃣️, Beach 🌊
On the island, there are three beaches in total. The sunrise 🌅 beach is suitable for watching the sunrise, the sunset 🌄 beach is for watching the sunset, and there is also a very lively Pattaya beach. The island is very small, and the main beaches can be reached within a 20-minute walk. Friends who don't want to walk can also take a TuTu. No matter where you go, the fare is 50 Thai baht per person.
3️⃣ Accommodation, 💰expenses
Overall, the consumption on Libei Island is not low, and the prices are slightly higher than other popular islands. 7-11 is 30%-40% more expensive than other places. There are several thousand sea-view rooms and about a hundred hostels on the island. Libei Island is too small, so it is convenient to go to several beaches no matter where you stay.
4️⃣️ Play 🤿
There are many things to play on the island. A day trip to snorkel 🐟 costs about 700 baht per person, and the red coral 🪸 underwater is very beautiful.
Scuba diving with oxygen tanks costs around 2000 Thai baht per dive.
Kayaking is highly recommended, it's super beautiful to paddle on the glassy sea 😍. Friends with drones must bring them along, it's easy to capture stunning footage.
We were very lucky and even saw 💧blue tears. We went out to sea in the evening and saw a sky full of stars✨ at night. When we went into the sea, our whole body was shining with blue tears, like a dream. However, the guide said that this activity is not allowed in Libei, so we had to go secretly. If you want to go, I can recommend the tour to you.
5️⃣️Overall, Koh Lipe truly lives up to its reputation as the ceiling of Thai islands. If you don't have high hotel requirements, like us, you can spend only 2.3 thousand RMB per person for a week of fun! It's really worth going! 😍😍😍

Thailand/Lipe Island/Off-the-beaten-path beautiful island
🚫Libei Island, perhaps many people do not know this name, because it is located at the southernmost point of Thailand, and it is also the most remote geographically. There are many islands in Thailand, Phuket has too many people, Pattaya is too entertaining, and Koh Samui's consumption is slightly higher. Libei Island, which is not inferior to Koh Samui, has become a choice. Libei Island has the title of "Thailand's Little Maldives", and the sea water is especially beautiful.
Libei Island is very, very quiet, and the water is super clean! Everywhere is filled with Maldives blue, it's simply breathtaking!!
.
✈️Transportation:
✔️Method 1: Fly from China to Bangkok, then fly to Hat Yai. Take a 2-hour car ride from Hat Yai airport to the pier, and then take a 2-hour boat ride to Libei (you can choose AirAsia's combined land and sea transportation, or buy tickets all the way by yourself).
✔️Method 2: Fly from China to Kuala Lumpur, then fly to Langkawi. Take a 30-minute car ride from Langkawi airport to the pier, and then continue with a 90-minute boat ride to Rebak Island (no boats available from June to October during the rainy season).
Peak season: early December to the end of February.
Dry season: November to May
Rainy season: from early May to the end of October (can only travel to the island by car or boat from Hat Yai, there is a risk of not being able to go to the island due to strong winds and waves on the day, and the snorkeling route will also be greatly adjusted)
Consumption: There is a 7-11 on the island, but prices are 50% higher than in Hua Hin; Beach massage prices are around 300-400 baht, similar to those in Koh Samui overall.
Island transportation: 1. Mainly by walking. 2. You can also take a tutu car by yourself or ask the hotel front desk to call one.
.
Hotel:
Ko Lipe has three main beaches: Sunset Beach (Hat Pramong), Sunrise Beach (Hat Chao Ley), and Pattaya Beach. The calm and clear waters make Ko Lipe an ideal place for snorkeling, with 25% of the world's tropical fish discovered in the area. I think Sunrise Beach is the most beautiful and recommend booking a hotel in this area, with prices averaging around 300-500 RMB per person per day.
.
Eat, drink, play, and have fun:
Sightseeing of natural landscapes, water sports such as snorkeling and kayaking, boat tours of nearby islands and coral reefs (such as Ko Usen and Ko Kra), drinking and dining, especially fresh seafood on the walking street. You can enjoy the sunrise at Sunrise Beach and the nightlife at Pattaya Beach. You can also go island hopping, fishing, kayaking, sunset sailing, and visit Langkawi and the National Marine Park. But if you get tired of playing, it's convenient to eat in the room. Important! Snorkeling and paddling equipment in the hotel are free to use!
Although Lipe Island is somewhat remote in terms of geography, it is a great choice for both family trips and outings with friends.

Because of the 0 yuan airfare, I went to Thailand alone for my graduation trip.
"The travels during student days are the real travels!"
After the opening of the country's borders, international flight routes gradually resumed, even Asia Airlines' big promotion has been restored.
I just miss the last trip of my student days.
Belonging to myself, a solo graduation trip in Thailand for half a month.
.
✈️Where do the 0 yuan plane tickets come from?
Asia Airlines has an annual promotion called "Asia Airlines Big Sale", during which fixed routes will offer discounted tickets and even free tickets.
0 yuan air tickets usually depart three months later.
I grabbed it in early September and chose mid-May of the second year.
Although it's a 0 yuan air ticket, fuel and taxes still need to be paid.
I bought a round-trip ticket from Chongqing to Bangkok, a round-trip ticket from Bangkok to Hua Hin, and the total cost for the four flights is 320 yuan.
I did not purchase separate luggage allowance and streamlined my travel equipment.
.
📍A very relaxing itinerary.
I have been to Chiang Mai, Bangkok and Krabi before, so this time I chose Bangkok and its surrounding areas, as well as the relatively unknown treasure island at that time - Koh Lipe.
Time is very loose and free, enjoy and say goodbye to the student era more often.
Bangkok stayed for 3 days, Pattaya stayed for 3 days, Ayutthaya stayed for 2 days, and Koh Lipe stayed for a full 7 days.
This is not a regular travel route, but it is my precious memory time.
.
🛏️Save money throughout the journey by staying in a youth hostel.
During the 15 days in Thailand, I stayed in hostels the whole time. Of course, I carefully selected them online before departure.
After actually living here, we are all very satisfied, whether it's hygiene, safety, or facilities.
I usually prefer a 4-person male dorm, with prices around 60 yuan.
The most expensive hostel I stayed at was by the Pattaya Beach, costing 110 yuan per night, and it was also the one with the best conditions, facilities, and location.
.
👩Met many interesting people.
Although I am a bit socially anxious, I have accidentally and fatefully met many interesting people along the way.
Will accompany for a day trip, will handle check-in, will have a small drink at night.
Listening to stories from all over the world, watching people with different faces and skin colors.
"Travel is so wonderful~ cheers!
.
🚉Transportation throughout the journey
Thailand has a really wide range of transportation options.
When I'm in the area, I like to rent a motorcycle and wander aimlessly, like in Bangkok and Pattaya.
A little further away, I will experience a local train ride, taking the train from Bangkok to Ayutthaya, and then crossing the river by small boat.
The farthest and most adventurous destination is to go to Libei Island. This mini island located at the border of Thailand and Malaysia requires a plane, a car, and a speedboat.
Non-stop riding for a day is required to reach the island, but only when you arrive can you feel the beauty of this "Thailand's Maldives".
.
📷How to take photos
Traveling alone, if you want to take photos, you need to use a good tripod.
At that time, I was using a very cheap entry-level Sony mirrorless camera and a $30 mini tripod.
Hang the tripod on a tree, a utility pole, or a step.
Use your phone to remotely control the camera for composition and shooting.
Record my every moment.
.
Traveling during student days is the real travel, and I increasingly feel that this statement is truly interesting.
When young, with not much gold in the pocket, every coin is utilized to its fullest value.
But with the most fearless courage, and the ambition to see the world.
May everyone keep their original dreams and aspirations, and continue to move forward.

Kho Lipe, the first time I saw this small island was in the movie "Mechanic: Resurrection" starring Jason Statham. After watching the movie, I kept looking for this small island and finally found out its name - Lipe Island. It is not an exaggeration to say that it is the Maldives of Thailand. Perhaps for tourists, its popularity is not as high as that of Koh Samui and Phi Phi Island. However, the enchanting island, the blue sea and sky, the beautiful white sandy beaches, and the coral reefs that can be seen everywhere in the sea are enough to prove that this is a small island worth traveling thousands of miles for.
Transportation to Lipe Island
Why do people say it's a long journey to get here? In fact, you need to take all kinds of transportation, including sea, land and air, to reach this small island. It's 950 kilometers away from the capital city, Bangkok. I flew from Bangkok airport to Hat Yai airport in southern Thailand, and I booked a package ticket online in advance. From Hat Yai airport to Pakarra pier, there is transportation available. Of course, you can buy a ticket from the airport to the pier, but it's more expensive. It takes about 2 hours to get from the airport to the pier. After arriving at the pier, you need to wait for the speedboat to arrive. If you have time, you can go to the nearby 7-11 to buy some motion sickness medicine, snacks, beer and sunscreen (you must bring sunscreen). Everything is more expensive than other 7-11 stores, so if you want to save money, you can buy them in advance. It takes about 1 and a half hours to reach Koh Lipe after boarding the ship, which is quite long. After all, you have to pay the price of transportation to reach this paradise. Haha.
After arriving at Koh Lipe, the boat will not directly land on the beach. A transfer station is set up outside the island where all boats must switch to smaller boats to reach the island. The ticket for the smaller boat is 50 Thai baht, and there is also a national park fee to be paid, oh, I forgot whether it is 200 or 300 Thai baht, and then take the smaller boat to shore.
Lipe Island is divided into three main beaches: Sunrise Beach, Sunset Beach, and Pattaya Beach. If you like lively places, you can choose a hotel on Pattaya Beach, which is closer to Walking Street and has the finest sand at night markets. Sunrise Beach and Sunset Beach are relatively quiet. In fact, you can choose any beach. There are tricycles on the island, and each person costs 50 baht per trip. After all, the entire island is not large.
Pedestrian street, here gathers restaurants, massage parlors, bars, travel agencies, as well as 7-11 and ATM machines on the island. If you haven't booked an island hopping tour, you can also choose to buy it here. Eating, drinking, and shopping are all possible. After dinner, you can have a drink at the beach bar and listen to live music, which is also a good choice.
Koh Lipe is also a diving paradise in Thailand. Whether snorkeling or deep diving, you can see the colorful underwater world. You can also participate in island hopping, choose several islands and snorkeling spots to play, and then return to the walking street to enjoy Thai-style massage and lie on the bench to listen to the sea. This is the taste of life in Thailand.
I always thought I wouldn't get tanned, but I didn't bring sunscreen before coming and ended up as dark as charcoal. So for those who are coming, remember to bring sunscreen and a waterproof phone case.
The trip to Libei Island ends here. I hope everyone enjoys this beautiful, cozy, and leisurely little island.

Travel photography 📸 Koh Lipe, Thailand
Thailand's 🇹🇭 islands and beaches are a tropical paradise in everyone's dreams. I recommend a pristine and niche vacation island - Koh Lipe.
Why go? Get away from the world on an island with secluded beaches, where you can live out your "Survivor" dreams. This is Koh Tarutao Marine National Park in southern Thailand. Recently, Biao Ge visited one of its islands, Koh Lipe. The silver, pristine beaches, graceful coconut trees, and magnificent sunsets leave visitors in awe and reluctant to leave.
📍HOW TO GO? As it is located in the southern part of Thailand near Malaysia, there are mainly two routes to get here. One is to fly to Hat Yai, the capital of Songkhla Province in southern Thailand, from major cities in Southeast Asia such as Bangkok and Kuala Lumpur, and then rent a car or take a bus to Pak Bara Pier in Satun (about 3 hours), and take a speedboat to the island (about 1.5 hours). The other is to take a speedboat directly from Langkawi, Malaysia to the island (about 2.5 hours). The above speedboats operate mainly from mid-October to mid-April each year.
📆WHEN to go: The cool season of Thailand's Andaman Sea islands is from November to April each year, with sunny weather, cool temperatures, and clear air, making it suitable for travel. The islands are closed from May to October, with few ferries and many resorts closed.
🏌️HOW TO ENJOY? If you are familiar with Thai islands, this is the Pee Pee Island 20 years ago in the hearts of Thai people, which is the Maldives in Thailand. There are still original Mo Ken people (who live by fishing and believe in Islam) on the triangular island with three beaches. Pattaya Beach is the hub for entering and leaving the island. You need to go through customs from Langkawi. The main commercial area on the island is concentrated here, with resorts, restaurants, travel agencies, massage shops, and diving shops. The pedestrian street on the beach is worth a visit and is also the center of nightlife on the island. There are also sunset beach and sunrise beach on the island, which are the favorite of photography enthusiasts. You can watch the spectacular and gorgeous sunrise and sunset of the Andaman Sea on the island, go hiking in the tropical forest, practice beach yoga and meditation, and also go to nearby Adang Island and Rawi Island (Koh Adang & Koh Rawi) for island hopping, snorkeling, deep diving, and visiting the primitive tribe of Mo Ken.
📍WHERE TO STAY? Due to its secluded and low-key nature, besides locals and European and American backpackers, this place has not been overly developed, maintaining the original ecological style of Thailand's native fishing islands. Hotels are mainly concentrated on Pattaya Beach, and those who like photography can stay at the resort on Sunset Beach. Our choice is Lipe Beach Resort on Pattaya Beach, with a moderate price, facing the bay, all are separate small wooden houses, surrounded by lush green trees, and the scenery is good. If the budget is sufficient, you can go to The Cliff Lipe, where each room is built on a cliff, facing the sea with sunset and evening glow, making it the best choice for honeymooners.

The most beautiful seaside bar in the small island of Libe, Thailand, is a sea breeze to sleep late in the afternoon!
Limbe Island is a very suitable island for a holiday. The beach bar is everywhere. The most atmospheric is the Sea La Vie Beach Bar. It is located at Sunrise Beach and faces the sea. The style is especially suitable for taking pictures! The
bar is open during the day and night, but personally feel that the most beautiful is still in the daytime, you can look at the blue sea of tiffany, order a cup of Mojito, and take a nap on the sofa of the bar in the afternoon, no More comfortable than this!
Thai cocktails are cheap and delicious, dozens of RMB one cup, the most recommended is mai pai, Thai special cocktail, every time you go to Thailand to drink. The
bar is very close to the serendipity beach resort on the island and it takes only a few minutes to walk from the hotel.

This time, I came to Lipe Island in Thailand and took the plane of Lion Air.
Remember to come to Thailand the last time, and also to Hua Hin and Pattaya who took the Lion Air.
Libe Island is a place I have been longing for. It doesn't have the hustle and bustle of Phuket, nor the prosperity of Bangkok.
is like a paradise.
Lion Air Bangkok Transfer is the easiest way to get to Lipe Island, and Lion Air is a low-cost airline in Thailand.
often has very attractive promotions. I last bought Chengdu to and from Bangkok. More than 800 tickets.
Compared to many low-cost airlines, I think Lion Air's service is the best.
The impression is that when we landed at Trang Airport, Trang Airport was very small and needed to walk to the terminal building.
The sun was bigger, and Lion Air actually prepared sunshade for every visitor. umbrella.
There may be some misunderstandings about low-cost airlines. Let's popularize the low-cost airlines I understand.
Low-cost airlines are not equal to insecure,
cheap airlines are mainly cost-saving in operating costs, and the safety factor is no different from ordinary airlines.
Low-cost airlines generally do not include the cost of checked baggage. The meals on the plane are not provided free of charge. Blankets and water are charged.
For some friends who don't need checked baggage and don't need any service, then cheap airlines are very cost-effective. Sometimes the round-trip ticket with tax price is a meal and you can go abroad.
Low-cost airlines are already very common in Southeast Asia and Europe, especially in Southeast Asia.
Many people's trips to the country were started from low-cost airlines, and many people have since become global travellers.
NIC..
Lipe Island is also a diving destination in Thailand. It is known as the Macro Paradise in Thailand. Whether it is snorkeling or deep diving, you can see countless stunning scenery.
The seabed coral here is one of the most intact in Thailand, but unlike Redstone, Similan, it needs the threshold of AWO to see it, and it does not need to experience the pain of boating and diving. Jumping into the sea and diving into the deep blue, there are countless corals and fish groups in front of you.
