But the atmosphere here looks more inviting, the air is fresh and cool, and it's much more pleasant to walk around. It's recommended to come after 4 pm onwards, as more shops will start to set up. The water condition is quite good, but not very clear. We may have to wait for a bit for it to be renovated, but it's considered another place during this time that anyone who comes to Chiang Mai must visit at least once. I just truly appreciate the effort to transform this small village into a welcoming, colourful touristry area. I understand that the canal is pretty dry at this time of the year obviously due to the weather, and still enjoyed the flowers grown quite well along the walkway itself. The villagers and store owners are also very friendly and entrepreneurial, I admire their efforts in trying to come out with unique decorations for their stall/storefront in order to grab the attention of visitors to stop by. Overall a good place to have a simple evening walk. #weekendgetaways

Mae Kha Canal is another tourist attraction in the city that people who like to travel like us must come and check in. The atmosphere is like walking through a market or a general market. There is a canal in the middle of the walkway on both sides and there are flowers decorating the walkway. If you go in the evening, there will be lights on.
