🏃🏻♂️➡️⛰️🏝️ Walk up the hill to the viewpoint of Koh Samet.
#Popular photo spot Khao Ma Cho viewpoint, Sattahip District, Chonburi Province is located near the parking lot to take a boat to Koh Samet. There is a way up to this viewpoint, which is quite mysterious and complicated. There are only 1-2 signs at the entrance. The rest is just walking up the stairs.
Let me tell you a little secret: there are 2 ways up and down. I recommend going to the side by the sea. It is easier and more open, but you might get a lot of sun.
As for us, we went up the way to the aquarium. There is a fork in the road that is a shrine and old bathrooms. It's actually a bit scary. 🤣🤣 Let's be brave. Since we're already here, let's head up. As long as there are stairs, we will reach our destination. We walked up for about 15 minutes. There were only forests on both sides of the road, dense trees, insect sounds, and hot weather. I thought to myself that I was overdoing it. Until we reached the top, I almost fainted because it was so hot. My body and arms were wet. I could still see the pictures. I thought I had taken a shower and forgotten to dry myself off. 😂
There is also a place to sit and rest up here. It's like a pavilion. And the lonely glass room is beautiful for taking pictures because it is a view of the blue sea. On a clear day, it is even more worth coming up.
On the way down, we went down on the other side next to the sea. The view is very beautiful. It is like a staircase leading down to the sea. 🩵 While going down, we took pictures all the time. It didn't take long for us to go down to the bottom. The mission was complete.

Khao Ma Cho – Unseen viewpoint near Nam Sai Beach, Chonburi
#VisitChonburi
If you're visiting Nam Sai Beach, I highly recommend stopping by Khao Ma Cho. This is probably one of Chonburi's lesser-known hidden gems, as the access is a bit difficult to find. The atmosphere is peaceful and uncrowded.
🚶♀️ Getting there
• The most convenient way up is from the Thai Island and Sea Natural History Museum. 🏛️
• From the museum, you'll find a long, clean stone staircase with handrails for safe walking.
• The walk takes about 10–15 minutes. ⏱️ The path may be a bit steep, but it's not dangerous. And the atmosphere along the way is great.
🌅 Highlights at the top of the mountain
• Enjoy the panoramic view of the azure sea 🌊✨
• See the sky and horizon contrast with the islands and small boats below, a beautiful 360-degree panorama 🔭
• The cool breeze 🍃 is perfect for taking photos 📸 or just relaxing.
💡 Travel Tips
• Go in the morning 🌞 or late afternoon 🌇 when the weather is not too hot and the light is beautiful.
• Wear comfortable shoes 👟 because the path is made up of continuous stone steps.
• Bring a small bottle of water 🥤 to make the ascent more comfortable.
Even though the stairs are strenuous, once you reach the top, you'll feel instantly refreshed. 😍 The sea view from Khao Ma Jo is absolutely worth it and is another hidden gem 💎 in Chonburi that you shouldn't miss.

Sattahip
The room is reasonably priced, clean, and safe, but there is no elevator. It may not be suitable for elderly people. The room is spacious and the bed is soft. The staff are friendly and lovely. There is enough parking space. It is close to food, shopping, and entertainment. The room is reasonably priced, clean, and safe, but there is no elevator. It may not be suitable for elderly people. Khao Ma Cho, Sattahip
Another beautiful viewpoint in Sattahip #KhaoMaJor 🍃🌊
✨ Came by accident but the view is so beautiful. This place is called 'Khao MaJor'. Anyone who has been to Sattahip and taken a boat to Koh Kham or Koh Samet will be familiar with this name. This mountain is right at the pier to cross the island. Walk up and you will see the beautiful view like in the clip. There are 2 angles for us to see. The first point is a view of the community side, houses, temples and the pier. The other angle is higher and you can see the sea view, Koh Samet and Koh Kham. When we went in the evening, the light was so beautiful. The mood was great. 🧡
💥 It's a short distance. It didn't take long. It took only 15-20 minutes to walk to the viewpoint. But it was quite tiring for us. 5555
💥 There are 2 ways to go up. 1) Go up next to the court at #Thai Island and Sea Natural History Museum. This point is not very steep but the way is quite winding. There is no view to see along the way (we went up this way). 2) Go up near Palin Cafe or the pier to cross to the island. This way is quite steep. Climb higher and higher and you will see beautiful views (we went down this way but then went to the fork at the museum)
💥 But if you are not sure about the route, I recommend asking at the museum first.
