I had the chance to visit Khao Kheow Open Zoo and met the famous star of the zoo. In the afternoon, the little one was sleeping, so while waiting for it to wake up, I wandered around to see other animals in the zoo. I encountered a very chic and stylish crispy pork, which was extremely photogenic 😍. After exploring for a while, I returned, and the star of Khao Kheow had woken up and was bouncing around for everyone to see. The little one is growing up now, and there are a lot of visitors. I recommend going on a weekday when it's less crowded than on weekends.

Another holiday to see animals at Khao Kheow, Chonburi on a day with not much sunshine. We rented a golf cart for 550 baht for 2 hours and a small electric car for 380 baht. This time, there was a capybara zone, a large rodent zone. You can feed it with food that the staff has prepared for you around the clock. There was a penguin zone. Today, there were few people so we could see penguins up close. There was a bird zone with many species. This time, we went on the pink route, which you can drive up by yourself or drive a golf cart up to. There were underwater animals, red pandas, and pygmy hippos swimming here. They are very big. If you walk, you won't be able to do it. I recommend renting a car or taking a tram for 30 baht per person. They also give you a commentary.

Khao Kheow Zoo
Recently we visited Khao Kheow Open Zoo. The location is near Pattaya city. I travelled with my family: my husband Boris and my daughter Maya. Children usually like animals and my daughter also likes.
We saw giraffes, tortillas, lion, snakes, birds, monkeys and others. The most existing for us were elephants. They are so nice, so big. We visited show of elephants and took a lot of photo with it.
We recommend to visit this place especially if you have children.

The latest internet sensation in Thailand: Moodeng
This time we visited the famous Khao Kheow Open Zoo in Thailand, primarily to see the latest celebrity—baby hippo Moodeng
This adorable little hippo was born this July and has quickly become the zoo's newest star. Many visitors came just to catch a glimpse of her. When we arrived, we noticed that the crowds were quite large, and it usually takes over an hour to see her. Fortunately, we only waited about 40 minutes!
Aside from Moodeng, there were plenty of other animals worth seeing. We encountered adorable capybaras, majestic rhinos, playful lemurs, sleepy red pandas, agile leopard cats, and fascinating Malayan tapirs. We also saw energetic penguins, elegant flamingos, sika deer, giant water pigs, and other tropical wildlife
The feeding interactions with capybaras and lemurs were particularly enjoyable, allowing us to observe these cute animals up close
⛰️ The zoo is open daily from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
🎫 As for ticket
200 baht for Thai ppl
350 baht for foreigners
However, we recommend purchasing tickets on trip.com, where you can get them at a discounted price of 296 baht, saving you a bit of money
PS: Don't forget to exchange your e-ticket at the entrance of the zoo for a physical ticket
Additionally, if you're driving, there is an 80 baht parking fee for cars entering the zoo, which is a reasonable charge and adds convenience
Overall, our experience at Khao Kheow Open Zoo was fantastic. Not only did we get to see the adorable Moodeng, but we also had rare interactions with various animals
Highly recommended! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

How to get there?
There is no direct transportation. You can either hire a car or take a taxi. The journey from Pattaya city center takes about an hour.

Khao Kheow Open Zoo
If you go to Chonburi, everyone probably thinks of going to the sea. I'd like you to stop by Khao Kheow Zoo. There are land animals, aquatic animals, herbivores, and carnivores. They have made the different zones very interesting. It's suitable for families. There's a bird zone, an African animal zone, and others. Most importantly, there are many new animals, such as capybaras, giant tortoises, and there's also a tram service. The ticket price is 30 baht.
Another thing is that there are now many rest stops. They sell food, drinks, and snacks. It's very convenient. You can stop by and visit. I guarantee you'll gain knowledge and have fun. Plus, there's a night tour now.
I recommend bringing an umbrella or a small fan.

A relaxing trip to Khao Kheow Zoo
A relaxing trip, a group trip to Khao Kheow Zoo. You can rent a car to drive and relax, feed many animals, giraffes, elephants, deer, rhinos and others. Go early in the morning, the giraffes will come to eat, you can take many beautiful pictures. If it's at noon, it will be a little more expensive. There is a noodle shop in the zoo, it's clean and usable. Overall, if you take your children to visit, rent a car to drive inside, it's considered comfortable. Then go on to Pattaya. #Visit the zoo #Khao Kheow Open Zoo

Great place to take kids in Thailand | Highly recommend Khao Kheow Open Zoo!
| Highly recommend Khao Kheow Open Zoo!. Khao Kheow Open Zoo
Ticket: Adults 150 baht, children 30 baht (my son is under two years old and doesn't need a ticket), private car 80 baht per vehicle
The park is divided into two areas, private cars are not allowed in the green area, highly recommend renting a golf cart, 550 baht for two hours, need to deposit ID card or driver's license, if not, you can also take the public tour bus, the time is not so free, the pink area can drive your own car, the park map can be seen in the last picture.
It is not recommended to bring too many things into the park, especially food, which is easy to be snatched by monkeys. We only brought water for the baby, tissues, sun umbrellas, small fans, there are shops everywhere in the park, very convenient, if you are thirsty or hungry, you can eat in the shop. The park opens at eight in the morning, it's best to go in the morning, it won't be too hot, because the whole park is like a forest park, there are many trees, it's very cool to drive a golf cart~ Especially if you want to watch the show, arrange the time, the show schedule is in the penultimate picture, you can go to see the penguin show at 10 o'clock first, then go to see the elephant swimming at 12:30, because the penguin house is at the beginning, the elephant house is at the end, so you don't have to walk the same way~ When you enter the park, you will first see the free-range deer, buy a bunch of grass for 30 baht, if the deer can't finish eating, you can bring it in to feed other herbivores. Fox Monkey Island is also before 11:30, otherwise you have to wait until 3:40 in the afternoon, the boat ride over is 50 baht for adults and 20 baht for children, buy food for 20 baht a portion, whoever holds the food, the fox monkey will climb on him, it's quite fun
We rented a golf cart to play in the green area, then switched to a private car to play in the pink area, the pink area includes Orangutan Mountain, marine animals, tiger and lion park and so on, we played from 10:30 in the morning until 2:30 in the afternoon, the experience was really good, you can also feed giraffes, feed rhinos and so on, heard that Bangkok's Safariword has a lot of Indian tour groups, think about it a bit suffocating
Finally, I suggest that you go to the zoo after your baby can walk steadily, no need for a stroller, my son is 19 months old and ran all the way by himself, climbed up and down Orangutan Mountain by himself, came once when he was younger, didn't understand anything, carrying and pushing was really tiring
That's all I can think of for now, if you have any questions, you can ask in the comments section~

Open your world at the Open Zoo
#timetotravel When it’s come to weekend, it’s time to travel again. Khao Kheow open zoo is one of many options for those who comes to Thailand, just about one and a half hour from Bangkok. Travelers can drive through the zoo, there’re so many zone like combine every continental within one zoo, such as Australian wildlife in Australian zone, African wildlife in African zone , etc. The highlights of visiting here is the show, you can check the show times from Brosher that receive from the entrance gate.
