[Europe] Travel to Europe for less than 100,000 yen round trip
Hello
I want to go to Europe for my graduation trip! But I'm a student so I don't want to spend too much money, but airfare is expensive...😢There is an airline that I would like to recommend to all of you, so I wrote an article about this company this time.
It's China Southern Airlines✈!
This is my second time using them, and I highly recommend them.
The first time was to Vietnam🇻🇳, and the second time was to Europe (UK, France, Italy).
For my trip to Europe, the round trip💰 price per person was 77,100 yen. The breakdown is 39,670 yen for the fare, 38,030 yen for taxes and fees, and -600 yen for a discount coupon. Even in economy class, airfares over 100,000 yen are common, so this is really a bargain price.
This price includes one personal item, one carry-on baggage (8kg), and two checked bags (each up to 23kg). I went with a fairly large suitcase, but it didn't exceed 20kg. Even if you buy a lot of souvenirs, you can rest assured because you can only check in two pieces of baggage.
The reason we recommend this flight is not just because of the price. You can use the transit hotel for free! This is the biggest reason we recommend it.
The schedule for the flight we used was as follows.
Day 1 14:00 Depart Kansai International Airport
18:00 Arrive Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport
Hotel stay
Day 2 13:00 Depart Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport
Day 3 2:00 Arrive London Heathrow Airport
Day 22 22:00 Depart London Heathrow Airport
Day 23 8:00 Arrive Beijing Daxing International Airport
Hotel stay
Day 24 10:00 Depart Beijing Daxing International Airport
14:00 Arrive Kansai International Airport
That's it. It takes 3-4 hours from Kansai Airport to Guangzhou, 13-14 hours from Guangzhou to London, 9-10 hours from London to Beijing, and 3-4 hours from Beijing to Kansai Airport. The above schedule is easy to understand, so the arrival time actually varies depending on the time difference.
As you can see, you will transfer via China to London. During this time, you can use the free transit hotel! I used it three times, and all three times the hotel was very clean.
You can make reservations in advance in Guangzhou, but you have to make reservations on the day in Beijing. But it's okay. I was able to stay in both Guangzhou and Beijing without making a reservation in advance. Just tell the China Southern Airlines counter that you want to use the transit hotel, show your passport and ticket, and you're done 🙆
The bus will come to pick you up right away, so if you want to eat at the airport, it's a good idea to eat first and then head to the counter.
💞Air ticket strategy
There is one drawback to this air ticket, and that is that it only departs and arrives in London. You can't go from London to Italy and board a plane in Italy 😣 To use this ticket for a trip to Europe, you have to come back to London.
We first stayed in London for a week, then traveled to France and Italy, and on the morning of the 22nd day, our last day in Europe, we traveled from Italy to London. We flew from Rome's Fiumicino Airport to London's Gatwick Airport, and booked a bus to Heathrow Airport. Then we took China Southern Airlines to China... It can be difficult to move between terminals, so I think it's a good idea to go directly from London to Paris and plan to sightsee in London at the end! If you're only going to the UK, it's easy to do 🎶
💗The in-flight meals are delicious, and the staff are all kind. The plane we took was on schedule or arrived early. The staff at the airport are also kind and will use a translator to answer your questions. If you have time and want to keep your travel costs down, please consider China Southern Airlines! Thank you for reading the article✨
