During this time, you can use the free transit hotel! I used it three times, and all three times the hotel was very clean. You can make reservations in advance in Guangzhou, but you have to make reservations on the day in Beijing. But it's okay. I was able to stay in both Guangzhou and Beijing without making a reservation in advance. Just tell the China Southern Airlines counter that you want to use the transit hotel, show your passport and ticket, and you're done 🙆 The bus will come to pick you up right away, so if you want to eat at the airport, it's a good idea to eat first and then head to the counter. 💞Air ticket strategy There is one drawback to this air ticket, and that is that it only departs and arrives in London. You can't go from London to Italy and board a plane in Italy 😣 To use this ticket for a trip to Europe, you have to come back to London. We first stayed in London for a week, then traveled to France and Italy, and on the morning of the 22nd day, our last day in Europe, we traveled from Italy to London. We flew from Rome's Fiumicino Airport to London's Gatwick Airport, and booked a bus to Heathrow Airport. Then we took China Southern Airlines to China... It can be difficult to move between terminals, so I think it's a good idea to go directly from London to Paris and plan to sightsee in London at the end!
